Waste of time!!! Do not schedule an appointment with Pinup Skin Spa at 112 E Fowlkes St Franklin TN 37064 if you value your time. I'm a mother of four with an infant that scheduled a one hour facial with the nurse practitioner. I showed up 20 min early for my 11 am appointment. The time then becomes 11:10 and I ask the owner Tabitha Hall if the NP knows I am present. The NP finally greets me and tries to make a point that my appointment is at 11:15. I provide my scheduling text message conversation, showing that my appointment was at 11. The NP offers to reschedule my appointment for free because I'm not on her schedule now. Which is it? Am I scheduled for 11:15 or not on the schedule? I do not want a service for free. She was not going to honor my appointment, even though I showed her the text conversation I had with the owner. I wanted my appointment time I arrived early for. A mother's schedule like mine with a breast feeding baby isn't the easiest to carve out time. I wasted my morning. It's a gamble if you'll actually have your appointment time honored. Especially, since it was scheduled with the owner. read more

When I moved to Franklin from Atlanta, trying to find a new spray tan place was hard. I dont like spray booths offered at tanning bed chains because I dont look cute orange! At Pinup you get a personalized Spray Tan by a professional and your entire body is sprayed, not just streak tanning like a mechanical tan spray booth. The color looked amazing even right after the spray tan was complete. You only have to wait a few hours for the final color to set in. I had a golden honey color all Summer! I have to admit, it can be a little unnerving to be completely naked in front of a stranger but I was comfortable and did not feel like I was judged at all considering I have a few extra pounds! If you cant tone it-tan it! My spray tan lasted well over a week and everyone that asked where I went complimented how natural it looked. I went to pinup today for a facial. I was told the technician would advise me on the best facial for me when I arrived. I told the technician my skin was sensitive, flaky and congested. The technician recommended a hydrofacial. I was expecting no miracles but emphasized that my biggest concern was my congested pores and asked specifically if this treatment would take care of those. I was assured it would. It did not. Nor do I feel as though my face looks or feels more hydrated, which was also a big selling point, than it would after using face lotion. I felt like the "water tool" was used haphazardly on my face - just a "touch" here and there. (Nothing like a laser that is used in a sweeping motion.) I don't know if this is how this facial is supposed to be done but I'm super disappointed. My pores are just as congested as when I walked in. This was not at all worth the $169 (+ tip) price tag. I have been to Pinup before for brow service. That was fabulous. The location is convenient. The people there are super nice. Maybe their other facials are wonderful. My review is not at all a statement on Pinup generally. This is a review on my experience there with the hydrofacial. read more

On my first visit I had my very light color eyelashes tinted, I was very happy with the results. A few days later I had my eyebrows waxed and she is very detailed, they look fabulous! Next, I started a combination of microdermabrasion and chemical peel facials to fade dark spots on my face and even out my skin tone... Spray tan* Cute charming building, gps struggled to bring me to correct location since it's set back a little so if you are coming for the first time give yourself a lil extra time to park. We were in waiting room for 20+min before being greeted while they finished chatting in the back but there was a customer with them so I figured they were just busy and not a big deal but it was long enough for me to wonder if they heard me come in or not and felt conflicted to walk back and say hi so they weren't waiting for me to show. I just waited because I didn't want to interrupt them. The girl who helped me was very nice, made me feel comfortable. Was a little worried right away since I wasn't asked what shade I needed so it seemed it was just one color ( I'm white as paper) so I was very nervous it would be too dark for me but went for it anyway since leaving for vacation and was out of time. The color while it was curing was scary dark but once I showered it actually looked great! The price was fantastic and would go back just for the value alone but did end up with streaks on my left forearm and left lower thigh/upper knee which wasn't ideal but I was just spending time with family and wore longer clothing and was able to not have it so noticeable. read more

After my first facial session, I went to Starbucks and saw an old coworker. She kept saying things like, "You look so healthy!!!" and "Well you look rested!"
