I asked for "just regular dip" after being informed how long doing an ombré dip would be and was shown color choices. Afterwards, I'm paying and am told the color I chose was $15 more than regular, which I was not told when provided with my color options. I also have one nail that is noticeably 1/2 an inch shorter than all of the others, bubbles on every other nail, extra product sticking out from under my nails, and hang nails. After tip, this was close to a $100 manicure, and it's not even worth $50. Super disappointed and annoyed. read more

Shes been doing my nails ever since lockdown ended back in late 2020 and no one else has been able to do them so well. I get SNS (dip), and she makes sure the dip isn't too thick and looks very natural every time. Also... THE SHAPE! She always kills it with the shape! Shes amazing. SNS was priced a bit more than what I pay back in KY, but my guy was meticulous and my nails looked wonderful, so it was well worth it. I am giving this a 4 rather than a 5 because of the wait for the people around me. I watched one young girl wait in a pedicure chair (a friend of hers timed it...) on a Friday around 3:30 for almost an hour and NO ONE spoke to her. The man sitting next to me in the pedicure seat (actually sat before me as I picked my color) was not helped until my pedicure was over and the guy was working on my nails. I was out in the area doing some shopping and got tired of looking at my broken nails and dry cuticles. I did not want to spend my Saturday afternoon in a nail salon, so I called ahead to see if there was a long wait for a manicure and pedicure. The gentleman who answered the phone was nice and told me that he could squeeze my daughter and I in-in about 10 minutes. We arrived and were greeted by staff and asked to pick out our polishes. I proceeded to the nail station where the nail technician examined my nails. He recommended that since my nails are brittle that I try the S&N dipping powder, they claim that it is less abrasive and healthier for nails. He did informed me in advance that it costs more than a gel manicure but ensured that if I did not like my nails he would redo them at no extra cost. He mentioned that customer satifaction is a priority. He assisted me in picking out a color and explained the entire process as he did my nails. He did add two artificial nails to make my nails even. 45 minutes later my nails were finished and I had the perfect manicure. It is 9 days later and my nails still look amazing. No chips or lifting that I used to get around this time with the gel. I continue to get compliments. My daughter liked her pedicure as well. The S&N dipping manicure and basic pedicure came to $79.00 before tip. Overall great customer service, a nice ambiance, friendly staff, in a prime location, good sanitation practices, and offers quality work. I highly recommend that you give them a try. read more

I was looking for a place in Cool Springs and decided to give them a try. I was treating my daughter so we got the basic mani/pedi. I was impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism. Since I am in healthcare I wash my hands all the time. The technician talked to me about the gel manicure, but it was not a hard sell which I appreciated. So far my fingernails haven't chipped, but that always has more to do with myself than the manicure. The pedicure was relaxing and looks great. I've had SNS for YEARS. I thought I'd try this nail salon out because I just recently moved to the area and it had decent reviews. This is by far the worst they've ever looked. My cuticles were cut to make them bleed. They were not dipped enough so it looks like I constantly have dirt under my fingernails. Would not recommend. BEWARE!! Ladies DO NOT give this place any business! Read my review! These folks are VERY SHADY and will ADD an extra tip on your signed receipt to pay themselves more! Yes you read that correctly and I'm so embarrassed to even post this. I can't believe the manager would do this. The first time I came in I only had cash (I was running a couple errands without my CC so I kindly asked how much a full set of regular polish for short nails would cost and I explained it's because I only have cash and want to make sure I have enough and will not be in a bad position. At checkout they added an extra $10 and thank god I barely had enough for that service plus a tip. My short acrylic nails fell off in a week so I came back for another full set before my birthday. This time my inspo pic required gel and what the heck, I'll spoil myself for my birthday. The total was $95 she said (in my opinion super over priced considering the quality, see photos but that's besides my main point here) I paid with card $95 and tipped her $10 in cash. On the receipt I signed, under tip I wrote "CASH," and under total put "$95.00". Well, I check my bank statement and they charged my card $101.00!! That's impossible to misread or screw up. So she added herself an extra tip, AGAIN. Sorry $10 wasn't enough for you but I tip on quality! If I absolutely loved the nails I would tip more but $105 for these was already INSANE, they look like toes. Also, my nail beds look dry because she didn't even put cuticle oil on them.. trust me, don't go here. So many better places in Franklin that don't do shady business and rip you off. I had a great shellac manicure done at Brilliant during my lunch break, and I loved that I could get it all done in 45 minutes. Sadly, my color warped within a few days, so I lamented about it here on Yelp. Anthony from the salon contacted me and offered to fix my color free of charge, and he was so gracious in the salon. The removal went smoothly and my new color is beautiful. We suspect my previous color was a bad bottle and the salon made note so they could dispose of it. Brilliant Nail Spa is the place to go! I walked in this past Saturday at around 6:15 pm (they close at 7) and I asked if they had time for a dip set and toenail polish change. They said yes! Quoc (or Ryan) did my nails. He was very kind and chatted a while with me. He took his time and even stayed longer than closing to finish my nails (around 7:30 pm). I would absolutely recommend this place. All of the employees were very nice, smiling and helpful to find a color I might like. I got a basic pedicure and afterwards I noticed the nail polish was all jagged near my cuticles on my toe. She didn't push the cuticles back. I said something and they didn't understand what I meant so I just let it go. I dried my feet well and headed out. Well when I got home, both my toes had smudged completely! I went back the next day and they were nice and fixed it. I was super careful. I dried my toes for even longer, wore the flip flops home, was careful with them for an hour or 2. I also didn't do anything crazy.. I was just sitting on my couch. Well guess what? My nails are completely smudged again. I've gotten pedicures tons of times and this has never happened to me so honestly I don't understand why but I won't be going back. read more

The reviews seemed like this salon would be a decent place so I decided to give it a try. The lady wasn't particularly friendly and did the bare minimum. She skipped cleaning under the nails and didn't bother to ask what type of pedicure package I wanted. When I realized that I wasn't thrilled with the pedi outcome, I decided to get a regular mani instead of a gel (I needed to do something as I had just removed the gel polish and my nails were a mess.) When I let the technician know that I loved the color of my pedi and wanted to use the (regular) polish on my hands instead of gel, she did a rushed job and failed to polish the whole nail on a few of my nails. I would not recommend going here. I go to nail places a lot to get the gel nail polish done. They not only took over an hour and a half, but also messed up 3 times and had to keep redoing my nails. They didn't have one of the base cotes and used something else instead. I asked for a certain color but refused to give it to me convincing me that I was the one in the wrong and that my eyes were off...after being very unpleased I walked up asking very nicely for a discount or something as l listed off what had happened that I was not happy with. They got very rude with me and kept telling me that they took their time to make my hands beautiful, and that if I was not happy with the time I should have left when I first got there. Ha! ...I said to them that I didn't want to pay full price this time, and the man behind the counter came around threatening me and locked the door and told the other Ladies that worked there to call the cops. Illegally holding me there even though I wasn't trying to leave, they all started yelling at me telling me that I needed to pay the full $35 or they would not let me out. I obviously didn't think it was a police matter and was shocked that it had even escalated to that point at all!!! I paid full price and left. I walked in to Brilliant Nail Spa for a pedicure with a co-worker while we were on a business trip in Franklin, hoping for a little R&R in the middle of a stressful week. I'm sorry to say that the experience was terrible. I hate to completely berate this business, but it was really that bad. I will say that they had a good nail polish selection. Great OPI and Essie colors. I quickly found my go-to color, but any hope of this being a positive experience ended there. I took one sip of the wine that they offered me and was done with it... so I thought. A few minutes later, one of the technicians bumped into my chair, spilling the entire glass all. over. me. Listen, I understand that accidents happen... but I didn't even receive an apology. I wasn't offered a discount on my pedicure or for the salon to pay for dry cleaning. They gave me a bunch of towels and that was it. No acknowledgement that my outfit was ruined. It was really frustrating. The girl who spilled on me disappeared... it was so strange. I did receive an apology from a woman who appeared to be the owner as I was checking out, only after she commented that I was "all wet".... still no offer to comp my service or give a discount. If you do decide to try this salon, I'd skip the wine. read more

I don't use that term as a euphemism for someone who 'really likes' getting their nails done; no, I have an addiction. Every two weeks, like clock work, I manicure my nails. I've moved around quite a bit since living in Nashville and I have been to literally every salon within 10 miles of my each place I've lived searching for the best nail salon to rest my head...hands at. I understand that sounds a little obsessive, so you understand how good this particular place must be if I'm bothering to Yelp about it. Best. Nail Spa. Ever. This place even calls itself a nail 'spa' and let me tell you, they back it up 100%. I've been to Brilliant every two weeks for the last 8 months and never have I ever had a bad manicure, a bad pedicure, or a bad waxing. Every staff member is clean, friendly, and amazing at their job. Mani/Pedi game is on point and really... Brows on fleek. And that's a bold statement right there. Put it this way, on a heavy wait day.. I've waited 30 minutes and it was worth every second. TVs, magazines, friendly people and nail color everywhere so even when you wait, which is hardly ever, it's nice. Their products are incredible. The best lotions, oils, scrubs, and lacquers. Nail polishes by OPI, Essie, China Glaze, etc.. the big names are there. There are so many gel color choices you almost never have to get color off the wall (OPI gel color!! YES I SAID IT!!). The spend is on high quality products and it shows; you never feel cheated on product. My hands stay soft for DAYS afterwards and my nailbeds have never been in better shape. My feet are like butta this winter and it's been brutal this year. Everyone complaining how their skin feels like godzilla....NOT ME! And omg, can we talk about those pedicure chairs for a minute? Its like a seat on the bus to soft feet heaven, with a short stop in 'This is Incredible'. BTW I see men in there as much as I do women and it's time someone said out loud how that's appreciated, gentlemen. No one likes gnarly hands and feet. ;) For the quality of product, and the quality of SERVICE, the prices..its almost too good to be true. I feel like this place could drive prices up easily and still get it. They're THAT good. The only complaint is that I have to wait 2 weeks to go back. =) read more

I usually don't judge a nail salon by a mid-day visit because it's usually not an indication of their normal flow, but I had an excellent experience when I went at 2:30pm two days ago. I had actually just left another salon because there was only one person working and two people waiting ahead of me. I even sat down for 8 minutes before I realized she was the only person working. Now, I know a smart business person wouldn't discourage someone from sitting and waiting, but it would've gone a long way to tell me that it was going to be at least 20 minutes before she could start on me. Anyway! I walked into Brilliant Nail Spa and was greeted by two people at the front desk. I was quickly taken back to one of the comfy spa pedicure chairs and they started right away. Yes, I was the only one in the place, but I could count at least 3 other people who looked ready to assist the next person to walk in. Plus, they offered me drinks numerous times (something the other location didn't do once while I was waiting). But what really made this visit special was my nail technician, Cora. She was super friendly, VERY attentive to my feet, not just going through the motions, and we ended up talking about our mutual love of exotic foods. At first I was worried that I would have to talk the whole time, sometimes I just want to relax, but she followed my lead and would give breaks in the conversation when I was quiet. She gave a little more direction than I would normally receive, like, "flex your foot for me", which really gave her the right angle and stability she needed to use the scrub properly. If I was in that area more often, I would go back there whenever I need a pedicure. Maybe I'll start scheduling my pedicures around my work trips to Franklin. read more

Liana was my nail tech and I wanted a custom red and black nail for an event I was going to and although she'd never done a mix of those particular colors, she quickly created it for me and even offered to take it off if I didn't like it. Just got a pedicure here, first time visiting. It's in my way home from the gym so very convenient location. First thing I noticed - this place is VERY CLEAN!!!! The woman who did my pedicure was wonderful. She took her time, she was very thorough which is appreciated because my feet take quite a beating. No knicks, no pain, no over-filing or over-clipping. The massage was great. I really like that they wrap your legs with warm towels while they're painting your toes. $30 for a really nice treatment. I'll be back for sure! read more

This nail salon was mediocre to me. I get my nails done every three weeks and just moved to the area so tried to use Yelp to find a quality salon. I tried a pedicure first as a test since it's hard to mess that up. Alas, the lady who did it ended up clipping a cuticle until is bled on one of my toes causing me to scream out in sudden pain. That's ridiculous! She then blamed the light saying it was dark in there. She quickly painted me with a semi uneven two coats and I felt the whole experience was rushed. Barely any massage and little attention to detail. I won't go back ever. I spend tons of money on my nails so I need to find a place that is better able to take care of their customers. This is a great nail salon for the Franklin area. It is located beside the Pink Mullet Salon and a Sun Tan City so if you wanted to have a self beatification day, it would be very easy. The massage chairs do a great job of working out any kinks in your back. They had a variety of settings. What topped the chair experience was the complimentary glass of wine that I enjoyed. They also have water and sodas too. They have a variety of up to date magazines to read and the TV was playing HGTV: I was completely entertained the whole time. My mani and pedi was very good. I have been wearing the same color for almost a week now with no chips and this was just a standard mani/pedi. It ran about $40, but the lady did such a good job, I tipped a little more. She seemed to have regulars too, which is always a good sign. They take walk ins, but you can make appointments! read more

We went in for a "Girls Day Prep for Prom" with my daughter and some friends. I did not go to prom, but had a wedding coming up and it was time for some attention to the nails. We had a great time and the staff was terrific. I got the gel nails and they still look nice a week later.
