I wanted to love this place... but I don't. I've been here about 3x for Pedicures and one time I loved it, other 2 times not so much. Yet I still keep coming back. I put some press on nails a few weeks ago and decided I didn't like them so much & wanted to get nail salon acrylics. I did use the glue that came with the nails and boy were they on good. The nail tech (pretty sure the owner) literally yanked them off my nail beds. OUCH! Why not just soak them off? They were meant to be soaked off. Then charged me an extra $5 to rip them off and damage my nail beds. She passes me over to another tech who proceeds to file my nails sooo crooked. Whatever, no big. 2 days later and now my pinky nail is CHIPPED!! Right before I'm about to go on vacation. I will no longer support this establishment and will be looking for a new salon who values customer experience and quality work. read more

Also relaxing vibe and I love that they offer a complimentary glass of wine! I trusted them with Nails for my engagement photo shoot as well as my wedding! I voiced my concern and he insisted that it would look better once my nails grow out?. I took his word for it and left not 100% happy. Literally the day after I start seeing some lifting! DO NOT GO HERE I went here for a pedicure and dip nails and the whole process took 4 hours. They completely messed up my dip because they did the dip then put regular nail polish on top of it. They tried to fix it but they did not do a good job. They made me feel horrible for just asking for it to be corrected. I requested a discount or to not pay for my nails and they refused and backed me into a corner and harassed me until I agreed to pay full price. I think three stars is accurate. I'll give them that because they had such good energy and kindness. However, my nails look like yuck. The picture I attached is from one day post. First of all, the lengths are all different and the shape is crooked and weird. Second, the clear polish is pulling away from my nail. Third, they didn't wash my hands but instead sprayed them with alcohol which dried out my skin causing it to crack around the cuticles. lI had my nails done 8 days ago (gel mani). Already chipping from the base and looking quite embarrassing. Will not be back.

My advise is stay way! I went there yesterday afternoon around 4ish. I did not have an appointment and I do not know the name of the tech that did my services. I had an old dip set on my nails and it had been a few weeks since I had them done. The girl I used to use at another salon in my area moved away and I am now trying to find another tech. Well, I will not go back to this place. So this is how it went. I needed to soak off my old set. She used the dremel to remove a large portion of the old dip and then soaked my nails in acetone. I could tell she seems rushed but thought surely she knows what she's doing. When she first used the dremel I know that they try and get the majority off with the dremel so you don't have to sit and soak for very long. Well I noticed the dremel would start making my nails feel warm and I would say "its getting warm". She would stop and go to the next nail. No big deal I though. Then after soaking and the removal of the old dip she was to give me a mani. My nails were in need of trimming and so were my cuticles. No bing deal I thought. She was very rough when she scraped my cuticles back then when she cut my nails she used cuticle cutters that I did not see come out of a sterile bag or jar. I thought that was odd but continued to let her cut my cuticles. She was very harsh when cutting and did a jerking motion each time she cut them. But at this point I am not bleeding, yet so I endured. I told her I wanted the French dip. I was impressed at the amount of dip colors that they had and thought okay, this is cool. Well after she got done doing the dip she had to use the dremel again (as they always do) to make sure the dip isn't too thick. Apparently she was late for another appointment or something because she kept hitting the sides around my nail and my cuticles with the dremel, to the point I walked out of there bleeding from several nail areas. I have never ever had such a back experience at a nail salon. What was supposed to be a relaxing time turned into me hoping I wasn't going to either catch something from hurt making me bleed to almost crying because I felt like she absolutely didn't care at all that she was hurting me and even after me pulling my hand completely away from her a few times and telling her that hurts. She then gets mad at me and says I am sensitive. Well, yes, I am bleeding to yes, it is sensitive. I will never go back to this place ever again! I do not know how on earth these people have this high of rating. I've been getting a dip done now since April (elsewhere) and this was the worst place I have been to ever! And how these people knew these people's names also is amazing to me because I saw no name tags nor did the girl that did my nails introduce herself. Oh and btw, the free drinks were never offered. And I never saw any other customers offer a drink either. I also was going to tell someone how unhappy I was and show them how my cuticles were bleeding but of course, she had to be the one to check me out. You could not tell who was the boss there but if they treat all of their clients as badly as I was treating, they won't in business long. Horrible experience! My hubs and I went and got pedicures at Spring Hill Nail Spa and the experience was better than most in the area... but sorely lacking. We arrived on a Sunday to find two nail techs working on others, but they immediately sat us in a pedi chair to soak. We picked out our color and were offered a drink (we chose wine)... we got it about a half an hour later. Paul soaked for a little over an hour while I was pedicured. They have a menu of different types of pedis and I'd wanted to get the super deluxe (the best they had) kind... but I wasn't offered... fail. When I was done, she started on Paul... and by this time 2 more pedicure patrons had arrived and were also soaking. The other tech (who was doing nails) was still working on the same nails as when we came in. My hopes for getting a manicure were fading as they'd already told the two other women they'd be with them... and they'd each been soaking a good 1/2 hour. The pedicure itself was pretty average. No great cuticle cleaning, no great foot scrubbing, no great massage (and these are my main criteria). My polish was applied just fine but she didn't put my flip flops back on me, so I had to try and not bump my wet nails myself. Paul's was even less great, she spent about 25 minutes on him... and though they were nice and clean (but he has nice feet anyway), it really wasn't worth it. In total we spend $66, including tip for 2 pedis (I'm a good tipper, $5 each). While it's close to our home... I doubt I'll go back. Luxy nails is my favorite Spring Hill nail shop! My nail tech was joking with the other techs, never asked my name, or offered me something to drink. Massage was not a massage, paint was not even. I've been getting my nails done professionally for about 3 years now and this one is on the lower end of the spectrum. I've been here once before and it was pretty good. Got it for back to school. Today I got a mani/pedi for a beach trip and here's how it went. Overall, the facility is very clean and the staff takes sanitary measures. The pedicure was done well, but the woman who painted my toes was very unruly and rude. Multiple times she cut me with the filing tool. And I have very ticklish feet, so when she began to buff my feet, I told her not to, because I did not want the tool put on my feet. She was on a phone call and did not hear me. I repeated myself, but by the time she heard me it was over. Then on her call she began cussing to whoever she was talking to and saying she "didn't give a crap" about what people thought of her. It was very rude and I didn't appreciate her behavior. I think the woman's name was Tonya. My fingernails, on the other hand, were done well and fast and I very much enjoyed the service. So that's why I would give this experience and business a 3 out of 5. I think if you are coming here a manicure is would be a quicker (and more respectful ) use of time. read more

Stay away from this "spa"- the day before my daughter's wedding recently my wife and daughters went here-based on location. the persons posing as "professional" ruined both my wife's and daughter's finger and toe nails-both manis and pedis had be stripped off and redone by someone else immediately after leaving this place. Today I left my cell phone there and did not realize it until after they had closed. I left a message on their Facebook site. To my surprise, the owner called me at 8pm. This place is horrible. I have never, in my life, not tipped someone who gave me a pedicure. The "pedicure" I received was not even worth the $50 that I spent. First off, when I said what service I wanted, my lady gave her coworker next to her a "UGH" kind of look and the coworker looked at me like I was a B****. I thought, maybe she was about to get off and I just came in here asking for a really long service. She rushed through the entire thing, taking approx. 15-20 min less than my sister's pedicure who was sitting next to me. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! This girl COUGHED ON MY FOOT! At first I was like, ew gross, but I didn't get too pissy, and wrote it off as an accident. She then coughed on my feet about 4 or 5 times in a 30-second span of time. Like, what??!! So I am beyond mad at this point and she puts the polish on my nails. I go to let them dry and realize that a few of them were only half-painted! She then brings me my receipt as I was drying my nails, and stood over my shoulder, watching me not tip her. When I handed it to her, she looked at me like I just shot her dog. Then she goes and starts someone else's manicure, while her and a few other employees were giving me the stink eye. She wasn't even about to get off work, she was just inconsiderate and rude. Felt a tad bit rushed, probably because there were so many people trying to get their nails done at once, but no one seemed to be waiting for too long.
