Food (farm & Texas burgers) was great everyone was friendly and drinks (fresh squeezed orange crush & whiskey lemonade) were tastey.

My boyfriend and I got a takeout order form iBar, we have never been before and didn't go in the restaurant. Our order was ready in about 15 minutes- we did have to call several times as their phone didn't seem to have any type of waiting or second line. We got 2 types of wings, the Tex mex egg rolls, and seasoned fries. The first kind of wings we got were the chef style, hot buffalo sauce, and fried hard. Chef style is with Parmesan and garlic. The fried hard made them a bit crisper and the sauce was tasty - tangy from the parm and garlic, and spicy from the buffalo. These were our favorite part of the meal! I will warn, there are 7 levels of heat, this was only level 3, and it was quite spicy! The second kind of wings we got were spicy Thai peanut, we also got them fried hard. These wings were not as crispy as the other set, but the sauce was savory and delish! These were definitely more mild, not very spicy at all, but lots of peanut flavor. The Tex Mex egg rolls specifically say on the website that an order is 3, but this came with 2. They were ok, the inside was a bit of a chicken mush. The outside was crispy and they did come with a tasty dipping sauce. I like egg rolls of any kind, but these were sort of average, not a must get. The seasoned fries had a great flavor but weren't crispy- though this could be because they were takeout. They also were a small portion for what I would've considered a typical side order. Overall, they were very good wings, and the rest of the food was pretty good too! We have heard great things and have been wanting to try iBar for a while, it did not disappoint. It's been a minute since I gave an update at Ibar, honestly outside of the chef style wings, the other wing flavors are just not good. Ordered spicy honey bbq, that was not spicy at all. Wings weren't pipping hot more of the lukewarm variety and I picked them up on time. Fries were lukewarm as well, I only ate the Cheesesteak because I was hungry and the meat looked old. I enjoyed eating here. It's a really small place. My friend and I were lucky to get that last seat not at the bar. The staff seems happy enough! Got the gummy bear drink and it tasted strong but good. We decided to take advanced of their wing special but what was supposed to be mild turned out spicy , and what was supposed to be mild was super spicy. I love the potato skins they were well cooked and tasty. The calamari was a let down as the pieces were lukewarm and limp- not at lol crispy as they should be. I came here around 1pm on March 5th. The service was great! I had a hard time choosing food but the bartender and the guy w/ cornrows told me to try the wings and they were spot on! You can tell they eat the food here because they were excited to name off everything on the menu! Crowd is pretty chill too! Very home-town bar-ish. read more

I am from Upstate NY and have always been disappointed with the "Buffalo Style" wings in the area. But, when I saw the Buffalo Bills and Sabres logos in the window, I was intrigued. The wings.. traditional, hot, hard fried are the as good as any in Buffalo. Well worth the trip for anyone wanting to know what the wings are like in upstate NY. The service is another story. I don't know if they were short staffed or the bar tender/waiter was not on his job, but I was ignored at the bar for 20 minutes or so. I finally had to ask, how does this work? The employees here are friendly based on the phone order I did from a friends house. They had metered parking with meters right out front so parking to do pickup is not much of a issue. When I got there. I was a little early and noticed the food was already ready which is usually a red flag because it usually means the food is "Rushed". Also the guy who came to the door to give me the food was NOT wearing a mask despite me & everyone else in the world wearing one. Very bad for a food environment. When I got the food back to my friends house I could tell the fries were a total loss. Tasted a few of them and most of them with chewy and tasted like heat-lamp fries but barely and I mean barely warm. Nowhere near fresh and must have been old fries from earlier in the day. Just discarded. The chicken tenders after biting into a few of them I found were NOT cooked completely so once again total loss because I don't want food poisoning. Just discarded. Lastly. The buffalo wings were very good. Needed more sauce on them though. But they were fully cooked and tasted fresh & good. They could have put a few napkins in the bag since I ordered wings. But there were no napkins in the bag. Nice...... Overall STAY AWAY from anything that's not the wings. Giving customers who pay a premium "The food is expensive here" raw food such as the tenders is not OK. After seeing the movies "Waiting & Still waiting..." which are about sending the food back. If you don't try the iBar wings, you truly haven't had a iBar experience! Came here randomly, looking for a quick bite and iBar came through! It's a great place to go when you're looking for a drink, a couple appetizers and a good time. I got the Buffalo wings (made iBar style), potato skins, mozzarella sticks and a couple of Angry Orchards. My friend got the Shrimp Po Boy-- i loved that it had lump crabmeat on toEverything was great- hot, fresh and plentiful!! I especially loved the wings, but everything was amazing. Drooling over their photos, I had to make a pitstop to get me some wings. I ordered the exact recommendation: a dozen chef style fried hard mild sauce wings w/ranch on the side. Pro: I loved the fried hard recommendation, each bit had a crispy, flavorful outside bite, followed by a warm juicy delicious inner chicken. The pieces were large! And there was a good variety between wings and drumsticks. I really like 'chef' style, which is mild sauce with Parmesan; such a genius pairing & they didn't pack on the cheese to overwhelm, it was a evenly portioned mix. Con: my only woe, the online prices (pre-tax) varied from the actual price rung up. We ordered a dozen because it advertised $11 for 12 wings, but our order ended up being $15 for 12 wings, not a break the bank difference, but not sure why it was different. This place is HOOD, but I've been before and I knew that already. However, it's been some years since I last went, so there was no security guard at the front door, nor did a single person or a person from a group have to leave their driver's license with the server to order food. Also, they treat the menus as if they're solid gold, jeez. I sat at the bar in a seat that had recently been vacated. There were 2-3 people behind the bar, but no one bothered to clear away the glasses, napkins, and dishware left behind. I was not offered a menu nor water. My friend joined me and we both sat there not getting any service. Finally my friend flags down a passing bartender and asks for a menu. This bartender provides the menu, then lazily clears away the mess from the people before us. We then barely interact with him the rest of the night. Finally we're approached by a bartender/waitress who told us her name is Becky. She efficiently gave us water and took our orders. Becky is the reason for the 2 stars. Her customer service was on point! She deserves a raise and promotion. That said, a kitchen person finally delivered our wings and fries, but we had no napkins nor utensils. Becky was nowhere around and the original bartender was ignoring us as usual. He finally brought those items to the couple next to us who'd just received their food, so we flagged him down to ask for same. Lazy bartender slowly came through and we fully dug into our meal. The fries were amazing, really good! The wings, eh. I'd ordered the chef style, buffalo spice, fried hard, 8 pieces. The sauce was decent but only 2 out of 8 wings were fried hard, the rest were as slimy as they wanted to be. I ate them because I was hungry but slimy wings are gross. I didn't want to send them back because the overall service (except Becky) was horrible and I worried it would take too long for them to be re-presented to us. But I couldn't do Ben eat half he nachos because the chips were siggg. The manager refused to replace the soggy chips even after he asked me what I would like. Finally tried out iBar Baltimore. Heard their wings are the best in Bmore. I had the "chef style" fried hard with the parmesan and garlic glaze. It def' sets it off with a unique flavor which I really enjoyed. I'm a fan and will be back. The only reason I'm not giving it full five stars is because of the to-go service. It took me over 20 minutes just to finally connect. Once I did, the employee taking the order was very nice and everything, but I feel like if iBar had a way to order online for pickups like a lot of other restaurants do either through Yelp, UberEats, DoorDash, etc etc, it would make the order process a lot more convenient and customer friendly. Ibar is a good local bar with solid food. They are known for their wings. They've got many types. My go to when I go is the mac and cheese bowl. You can get it topped in many ways. I usually get the jerk or blackened chicken but just pick a protein from the menu and they can most likely put that in the bowl. The flavor of the mac is solid. 5 cheeses. They It is a good sized portion. The servers are friendly and the crowd is friendly. I recommend sitting upstairs at the bar rather than downstairs. I think the service is faster and the environment is better upstairs. However the upstairs is smaller so remember that too! read more

Rats, Rats, Rats also bugs & bad smell & bad service! Honestly I once opened the bottom of the vanity in the bathroom looking for soap (because there wasn't any) & I found a dead rat...the rats are in the ceiling, they've been seen crawling on the fryer...all that.
