I was able to snag a 6:30 reservation at the bar on a Friday evening & so glad we did. Everything was wonderful from the host checking in, the bar/server and food! It was pretty busy and loud in there so if you want quiet, that's not happening. Drinks were nice and strong, especially my cosmo. The shrimp appetizer was soOoo delicious! I saved the sauce for my pasta dish...dumped the whole thing in there. The Caesar salad is plenty for two! Also yummy! We had to take it home. I ordered the linguine alla vongole and OMG...the best one I've had so far. Portion was ginormous. It was so GOOD I finished it in one sitting. No leftovers. What a great little spot in Cranston. There are a lot of places to get Italian in the area, but this is a pretty special place. The food, the quality, the atmosphere, the service and the prices for what you get are all absolutely top notch. The three meatball appetizer is fantastic. They were served piping hot in a bed of delicious, slightly spicy tomato sauce. The meatballs were large and flavorful. It was a great start to the meal. I followed with chicken parm and penne. The chicken was perfectly prepared, and delicious. The pasta was al dente and there was plenty of that fresh and fantastic sauce to work with in every bite. We finished off with dessert. We went with the strawberry cheesecake. Which was a traditional New York cheesecake with slices of fresh strawberries that smelled amazing and whipped cream with a side of strawberry ice cream which made the dessert a little bit unique and interesting. It was a great touch. While the food is quite commendable and delicious, the service is what makes this a five star experience. Our server was super attentive, communicative, friendly, helpful but never intrusive during the meal. Glasses were filled right on time. And she showed up at the right times with the right questions all night long. Perfection. This is a great spot if you can get in the door. We came at 5:30 with a reservation, and we were seated immediately. But when we were leaving it was pretty packed. Yesterday (July 2025), I drove 45 minutes from Boston to Providence to eat an early dinner at Iannuccilli Restaurant. TLDR -- worth the trip! This place was as great as the best places in the North End. My Boston favorite is Carmelina's, and Iannuccili's food was every bit as good with a better menu, better environment and way better service. Getting to specifics: perfectly al dente pasta with authentic Italian sauces (I sampled three types); crispy outside and tender juicy inside on the Milanese; the best Italian sausage I've had in years; the best broccoli rabe dishes I've ever had; and large portion sizes -- bring your appetite. I will still wait on line at Carmelina's and eat at Mamma Maria and Daily Catch in the North End -- these are amazing restaurants that I love. But, I'm also going to make the dive to Iannuccilli's more -- wow so good and worth the trip. read more

This is a lovely little restaurant located in the Knightsville section of Cranston. The owner has many years of restaurant experience under his belt. His great menu has many of the favorites that were carried over from his former restaurant menu the Florentine Grill in North Providence. It's a very small restaurant but every s Space is utilized to the fullest. The menu is traditional Italian with daily specials. My friend and I both enjoyed fabulous pasta dishes. We were never rushed to order my friend and i ordered the pappardelle alla bolognese Chef Nick did an amazing job it was absolutely delicious the portions were very generous! A happening place. Very busy, a little loud for my liking. Maybe because our resy was late (8:00 on a Saturday night) and they'd been at it for a while but the staff seemed more frantic than they needed to be for the size of the place and the number of servers. Everyone was really nice but we waited more than 20 minutes to get our bottle of wine (we were told they needed to wash the glasses!?!?!). Our entrees were served a couple minutes after the wine arrived. I will say that my bone-in veal chop parm was delicious. One in our party had the sirloin special and was disappointed. The chic Marsala was "good" and the Penne Pollo was a huge portion that seemed to please. Shared broc rabe with sausage which was so tasty,. Calamari fresh but no tentacles ..;'(. Martinis and beer to start as very limited wines per glass but the bottle selections varied and decent pricing as we enjoyed our Cabernet with dinner. Chick parm, penne with vodka sauce and grilled chicken (2 very large chicken breasts which you have to cut and mix with the pasta..tasty , filling and enough for the next day!:) Veal marsala was scrumptious with no room for dessert. I have to start this by saying wow. Often times, many places fall short to me with their staple Italian offerings. I love me a good veal parmigiana and/or chicken parmigiana but there's always a but. It's good BUT the sauce is bland. It's good BUT the meat is pounded way too thin. The list goes on. I just had, literally minutes ago, the bone-in veal parm here and it's easily top 2 of the best veals I've ever had. The only reason I'm not saying best is because I'm sure I've had at least one that is as good but it's just not coming to mind. I ordered it with penne and the arrabiata sauce. Many times a spicy sauce comes off as a marinara that was kicked up with pepper. This one tasted like it had its own personality. The roasted garlic flavor was great, and it was perfectly spicy...a kick without trying to prove something. The pasta was your typical penne. Cooked well and a large portion. If they ever decide to introduce house made pasta, I might cry. I also had the prosciutto and fig pizza. It was light and tasty but I did wish I could capture that perfect bite of cheese, fig and prosciutto more often. The arugula added a nice bite to contrast the sweet fig. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. With all the Italian places you can choose to go to in RI, this one should crack your top 5 easily. read more
