Was on my way to Safeway when I fortuitously passed by this iTea location and decided to jump on my wife's recommendation (she didn't have to ask me twice) to get some boba here. Being the only boba shop in town, they were quite busy when we arrived. I was a bit hesitant at their quality given the complete lack of competition, but was pleasantly surprised at how well they maintain the quality of the iTea brand here. There are quite a few tables inside for dine-in option, and they also serve a large selection of ramen in addition to their smaller apps. I rarely leave poor reviews but my last visit to this establishment was terrible. I've been going to this location for close to five years and always had a fairly good experience until last week. The young girl with round glasses who was taking the orders on the evening of 4/30/26 was very mean with zero customer service skills. This establishment isn't cheap by no stretch of imagination and after leaving here over 50 dollars worth of food and drinks, one would expect a pleasant communication with smile. Not all i-Teas are good. But this one is. Everything has the right flavors, textures, and everything, and is consistent at it. All snacks are good - and the ramen is really good for a cheap bowl. It's obviously not the best ramen as it's from a boba shop (and a chain!), but it is the best ramen you can get at that price. It is a 3-5 minute drive from Saint Mary's, which is where I attend and live, for the time being. This i-Tea is as good and as consistent as the Castro Valley i-Tea, which has been my favorite i-Tea for several years. Dublin, Pleasanton, and San Ramon's i-Teas are decent, but somewhat inconsistent. The one that used to be at the Livermore outlets was terrible (tasted like water, it's been closed for a few years by now I believe). I usually get one of the milk teas (black, oolong, or jasmine) with grass jelly and egg pudding, no boba since I don't like actual tapioca pearls. While it is really the only boba place in Moraga, it is the best! Wanted boba when I was out visiting my friend and this was the only choice we had. I was not disappointed. Since I go to school in Berkeley I am surrounded by at least 10 boba shops at any given time, and I-tea stands up to that competition! I got a crème brûlée milk tea and it was soooo good. The tea itself was nice and flavorful, not diluted with the milk. The pearls were chewy and sweet, well cooked. But the straw of the show was really that crème brûlée cream. I love crème brûlée drinks and this has been on of my favs. The torched sugar was so tasty and they put so much cream! It was delicious. 10/10. Ordered the drink at a kiosk and it was done very fast! Also the inside of the shop is cute and I can see it as a nice place to hang with friends. Check this spot out if you're in Moraga, you will not be disappointed! Their tea is so fragrant and steeped perfectly, balanced well with their sweetener. Boba is cooked and sweetened well. Tbh I ordered their milk tea, but the cashier entered the order wrong even after repeating our drinks back to me LOL. It's fine................ My bf grabbed their fried oyster as a snack-- loved it. My kids and I love i-Tea. They are always so nice despite the fact that they are crazy busy. It can get crowded afterschool and even though there are a decent number of tables, I wouldn't count on getting one if you're going during afterschool hours. We really love the boba teas, as well as the fruit frosties (looooove the lychee one). Pro-tip: you can adjust the amount of sugar, ice and boba in your tea and the amount of fruit in your frosty. Starting to drop the rating for this place as much as I love i-Tea. Came here today looking for snacks and passion fruit green tea only to find out...all the drinks were sold out except mango sago and thai milk tea. Hold up, what? For a boba shop, how do you manage to sell out every single drink except those two. I understand the shop closes at 8:30 PM. I expect the kitchen to close at 8 PM. I got there around 7:40/7:45 PM and that's what I was told. Alllright, so I ordered mango sago, then tried to add in snacks only for another worker to tell me the kitchen was closed. Wait, so the kitchen doesn't even close at 8 but now it's 7:45 if not sooner? Not entirely sure how this boba shop is supposed to run the rate it's going. Whatever. So while I'm paying, the cashier says "Sorry, it's because it's Friday." Okay, wait. So first you sell out of almost everything, then the kitchen closes earlier than it should, and then you say "Sorry, it's because it's Friday?" I absolutely LOVE this i-Tea! While occasionally the boba may be too hard or too soft (especially if you go later in the day) they are 99% of the time super QQ! My mom is quite literally Taiwanese and she adores this place as well. Their popcorn chicken, potato croquettes, and curly fries (ESPECIALLY the sauce in them) are very tasty. I used to love their mozzarella sticks, but they recently changed them and I couldn't even eat one. I've also seen a lot of reviews about the unfriendly nature of the employees, but it's for good reason; they are constantly flooded with people (the after school rush) and are required to make tons of drinks. They have never been outwardly rude or unfriendly to me or anyone I know, but they do always seem a bit rushed. I really do love this place! Don't be fooled by the rickety outward appearance. What they lack in ambiance, the drinks and food make up for. Just don't come around 3 when the local schools get out, or else you may have to wait quite a long time. This I-Tea location is the BEST I've ever visited I have mixed reviews for the ones in SF and East Bay (so I don't visit haha) but my home girl's picked this place and WOW, this location blows me away! My to-go here is Thai Iced Tea at 80% sweet and when I read "popcorn chicken" I was like "mmm... maybe I should try it once more" And I'm so glad I did!!!! We stopped here in the afternoon for boba, tea, and ramen. We placed a mobile order for all of the above. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our drinks. Our ramen came out after about 30 minutes. 45 minutes for drinks is unbelievable. To top it off, the place was pretty empty. The ramen was just ok. The flavor was bland and below average. My kids love the boba but I don't think we'll be coming again anytime soon after that long of a wait. read more

Not many bubble tea places around this area, so I'm very glad that this one is amazing! Compared to many other boba chains, i-Tea is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion. The parking is convenient, and the location is convenient. The space is large (compared to the i-Tea in the financial district of SF), with many tables and chairs. They have drinks and food here. The food (ramen, etc) looks yummy, but I've only tried the drinks - Panda Milk Tea - my usual go-to at i-Tea locations. Milk tea with the regular pearls and the agar clear pearls. It gives it some great texture. I get the sweetness level at 30% for this drink, which works out great. Taro Milk Tea - their fresh taro isn't bad! Not too strong, but can still taste it. It comes with the boba, but you can switch it for something else. I get mine at 50% sweet and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. Wintermelon Milk Tea - I hear that this is the most unhealthy drink in terms of sugar content, but wow, they do make a good wintermelon milk tea! Hokkaido Milk Tea and Okinawa Milk Tea - I put these 2 together because the drinks are very similar (a milk tea with some caramel flavor), but one has pearls and pudding as toppings and the other has just the pudding as the topping. I'm not too big on the caramel flavor, but someone else that I was with that got these drinks really like it. One of the better Hokkaido/Okinawa milk teas. read more

I-Tea is by far one of the most consistent boba chains out there which is why I enjoy going there so much knowing that they will be as expected and above average in quality. This location on is no exception. It's tucked away in an outside strip mall right across from Lamorinda Montessori. Parking is ample and it's normally not too crowded at lunch which is great since I can pop in and out during my lunch breaks. The large variety of teas, milk teas, fruit drinks, and snacks is a huge plus. I normally will get either their signature green or oolong milk tea, super fruit tea, or mango sago. I especially like their fruit teas since they pack a lot of fresh fruit in there and it's quite refreshing. In terms of snacks their egg puffs and egg rolls are very good, but I would avoid their pop corn chicken as it's not the best and doesn't taste so great. Out of all the I-TEA shops I been too, this one is the best one! 100%! No questions asked when me and bf prefer water in our drink over tea, unlike other shops where they don't accept that. I understand that it is called I-TEA for a reason but sometimes when I don't want to stay up all night, I just want to buy the drink for its taste and prefer not to have caffeine in it. First time trekking out to Moraga where I found BOBA! Is this town getting a bit more Asian or what! There is actually another Boba approx. 4 miles away. Anyways, called in and ordered simple. Did not paid over the phone.. which I should have.. because when I got there, there was a short line. Again, make sure to pay over the phone b/c if not.. you'll end up waiting in line... to pay.. as the rest of the folks who have not yet ordered.
