Cute take out only spot on grand Ave! The prices are SO reasonable for a juice shop - I haven't seen a smoothie for $6.50 since pre-Covid! The fresh orange juice was pretty good, though more on the tangy side. It came out in 5 minutes! I think I'd want to try one of their signature juices next.
I ordered the dessert bowl from here, and it was just what I needed after a hot girl walk. The portion was huge for me, so I ended up sharing. There's tons of pressed juice, smoothie, and acai bowl options to choose from. Everything seems so fresh and healthy!
I am obsessed with this place. So delicious and service is sweet and efficient :) The Maca Mama is irresistible but I do love the Essential Green also! The açaí bowls are also delightful - you just can't go wrong here.
After a fun dance class at hipline down the street, I wanted to get a healthyish snack and a smoothie sounded perfect. So to Main Squeeze we went! It's mostly street parking in this area, but if you don't mind a walk, consider parking in the nearby neighborhood. I've always had luck there and there's no meters so you can park as long as you want if you want to explore the area. Main Squeeze is a small smoothie shop near the end of the street. It could be easy to miss, except that I usually see folks waiting outside! They've got a bench there so it's almost made for people to hang out. They don't allow people in the shop and they have a table blocking the door where you can order. They move really quickly so I haven't seen the line get too long before you can put in your order. I would recommend checking out their menu online or in the photos here before you go since you can only get a really good view of the menu from the register when you order. Helpful to check ahead if you don't want to hold up the line. Smoothies are decently priced: 12 oz for $6.50, 16 oz for $8.50. I went for the Carmen Miranda which had coconut water, banana, orange, pineapple, and mango. Lovedddd it! Such a refreshing, citrusy drink! It's not overwhelmingly sweet, but you do get a good banana flavor in there. I couldn't really taste the coconut in the coconut water, but that's ok with me because I don't usually love coconut anyways. My friend also really liked her Golden Sun smoothie. I loved it and I'd definitely be back when I'm in the area! I ended up buying more pineapples and mangos to try to make it at home. In my smoothie era now thanks to Main Squeeze!

The place is more of an order to go counter, no seating except a public bench just outside the storefront. The employee was nice and the drink came quickly, nothing much else to say about the service. Golden Sun: mango was not sweet mango! She aight
Vibes are off, taste has been totally off 3/4 times in the past 4 weeks. Have been holding off on writing this review in hopes it was just a few bad days. Recent experiences here have motivated me to buy my own juicer.
I am a huge fan of juice bars; especially the hole-in-the-wall ones that are off the beaten path. That is exactly what you will find at "Main Squeeze". Located directly on Lakeshore Ave and adjacent to Mandana Blvd in the Lower Hills neighborhood of Oakland, this place has been offering delicious healthy items dating back to late-2015. Keep in mind that this location is not the easiest one to find while parking isn't that great either. Furthermore, it is the type of business where you walk up to the glass window and place your order. Hours are quite generous as they are opened for business 7 days a week from 9:00am to 7:00pm. There is also a second location in Alameda but my review is specifically on the Oakland location. They carry a selection of enhancers, wellness shots, juices, smoothies, and Açaí bowls. Best of all, the juices, enhancers, and bowls are all organic. This means everything is made naturally and free of any pesticides. For this being such a tiny place, they offer a ton of options to keep your body healthy and feeling its best. I wanted to add that there is no indoor seating area so basically every item you order is made "to-go". However, there were a couple small benches directly in case you wish to enjoy your snack there and not walk with it or take it in the car. After glancing at the entire menu board, I finally settled with a 12 oz. size of their "Orange You Glad" (for $7.00 as of October 2023). This concoction includes fresh pressed carrots, celery, red apples, pears, ginger, turmeric & lemons. It was just a few minutes and my drink was ready. I've been to my share of juice bars and this place was definitely above average. The drink wasn't cold which was a minor deterrent but overall it was delicious. I was able to taste the carrots more than anything but definitely also tasted hints of celery and the turmeric. Overall, "Main Squeeze" is definitely a great place when your life is busy and on the go. The guys that run this place were super nice while the vibe was relaxed and chill. All in all, I am giving them an above average four star rating.
The Main Squeeze in Alameda was my favorite smoothie and acai spot to visit when I lived there! So happy there is a Lakeshore store too. This store is takeout only- you order at the window and there is a single bench outside to sit on while you wait. No frills but all the same great smoothies and bowls! I love Main squeeze. I really don't think you can go wrong with any choice here. My favorite is the Oasis bowl, Green goddess, and their orange juice. Everything is ALWAYS incredibly fresh and well prepared. The owner of this place has an eye for incredible staff because out of the 30 + times I've visited, his staff is always noticeably excellent. They're super (super) friendly, accommodating to your preferences and make each item with intentional care. I've never once had my Oasis bowl thrown together (which I wouldn't mind lol) - but it's the fact they take the time to make it visually and aesthetically appeasing to the eye. They take the time to find fresh, quality ingredients. They take the time to make sure you leave feeling fully satisfied. This is easily the best Juice bar in the entire Bay Area

Thats not all their serving at Main Squeeze (see pics) I've come here ar least 10 times in the last 20 days. Maca mama is great, cool earth is great and one more I can't remember is great. Love this place, staff is friendly, and they have cookies that are delicious like the banana nut chunk.

Main Squeeze catered an event in Saratoga, and their drinks were a fun (check out the photo of the light in the drink) and refreshing addition. I tried one of their lemonades, and it had a light, fresh flavor that was enjoyable, especially for a warm day. The only downside was that it was a little too sweet for my taste. read more

I came here with a friend after a workout session for a quick pick-me-up. I got the 12oz Essential Green smoothie with hemp protein and my friend got a 12oz Tropikale. I was surprised how tasty both smoothies were based on their descriptions. I was expecting our smoothies to taste healthy in an unpleasant way, but both smoothies were so tasty! On the other hand, the smoothies are on the sweeter side and I was a bit disappointed to not have tasted any of the cayenne or sea salt in my smoothie. I drank my smoothie on an empty stomach so I wasn't expecting the smoothie to keep me full for long, but the smoothie kept me full for a few hours! The service was quick and easy. There is no entry allowed in the store, you order at the window. There is limited metered parking around the shop and within the area. Overall, solid smoothies and great service! read more

As other reviewers have said, this business falsely advertises their ingredients as organic. I witnessed first hand a fruit and produce delivery a few minutes ago and nothing on the stack of boxes/bags on the dolly was organic. I've been coming here for years, but will not be again and will ensure I tell my friends that go here as well. Lack of integrity by the owner is clear, and they should apologize to their customers. I was not able to get a picture of the full stack quick enough, but I did manage to get the celery. See photo. read more

Was craving a refreshing smoothie on a warm day around the area. This was the closest highly rated smoothie place near me. There's also an Alameda location! Prices are your average smoothie price - $6-8. My boyfriend enjoyed his smoothie - it was with pineapple and mango. I got the essential green - it was a little too tarte and the spice didn't work too well in it. Probably would not get the essential green again, but I would be open to trying other smoothies or their acai bowls. Parking situation is all street parking. Storefront is small - you order outside with someone and wait right outside. read more

During this heatwave, hubby and I stopped by to get a Beleza bowl. They allowed us to split one bowl into two bowls for sharing which is so nice since neither of us can finish one on our own. It was so refreshing and just what we needed to cool down and treat ourselves. The coldness of the açaí plus fresh fruits and granola was a healthy alternative to ice cream. We got there at a good time, only one customer ahead of us! We ordered one for our daughter too and because we wanted to walk around, they kept it in the freezer for us so it wouldn't melt on our walk. When we came back to pick up, there was quite a line, but I caught her eye and she gave me the bowl without having to wait long. Friendly service and highly recommend! read more

I really appreciate their fresh ingredients & they have a lot of options on the menu. I like that I can get fresh juice & açaí right next to the lake. If I go early enough I can even get a park! My problem is... the açaí had no taste the texture was on point, they have good ad ons, but it was bland. They use Guarana for sweetener instead of honey, like I'm used to. That could be it I want to love this place but I can't get jiggy with the Guarana I will say the juices are fire and if they weren't so expensive I'd grab one everyday. read more
I love coming here for Açaí bowls! I love the Oasis bowl! Açaí, granola, fresh fruit slices as your açaí is blended, and topped with chai seeds, coconut shavings, and fresh honey! $10 may seem a lot... but for this authentic goodness, it's worth every penny. Today, they added pineapple. I didn't mind it. It tasted super fresh and sweet! Sometimes, it comes with blueberries. But, they usually add whatever is tropically seasonal. After you've tried this place, you'll never go back to Jamba Juice, Vitality Bowl, or Bowl of Heaven ever again! read more
Found this spot when I was looking for a healthy treat while I was in the area. It was between the Alpha and Beleza bowls and I went with the Alpha bowl. They have a cashier right at the window so you aren't able to enter the store, thanks COVID! He was pleasant and answered my questions and told me the Alpha bowl was quite popular today, ok win! It was yummy and filling. Nix the honey if you want to cut down on the sweetness. The apples were a nice touch and added crunch along with the granola. I'll try the Beleza bowl next time I'm in town. read more
The guy that helped me was as interesting as the bowls itself. Lets just say that his customer service style was not stellar. The acai bowls are pre made so he took out two pre made acai bowls and sprinkled fresh fruit and other add ons on them and that was it, it took under a min to make them. Well, I wish that that was spelled out in the menu becasue when I pay $10 for an acai bowl, I would like them to be made fresh for me right in front of me. The acai puree it self did not have much flavor and it tasted watery, it tasted like watery frozen fruit. Nothing special....nothing special does not get another visit from me. read more
I wanted pancakes but I told myself a smoothie would be better for me A good friend of mine swears by this place so I stopped by. The menu has so many awesome choices that I had a hard time making a decision. I chose the Maca Mama and am very happy. The flavors are amazing, great combination with the coconut water, banana, and almond butter, especially since I needed the protein. The service was good and the place was clean.
