On the quietest stretch of Piedmont Avenue is this compact spot that serves healthy bowls and smoothies. It's a woman-owned business, so it already gets props for that broken glass ceiling. The name comes from the cycling classes they hold in the adjoining facility. It also explains why their customers look so healthy. I'd like to come back for an açaí bowl, but I feel like I should do a few laps through Mountain View Cemetery to justify the calories. In the meantime, I had a fine $2.50 cup of their House Coffee (photo: https://bit.ly/3DefMkv). It's from Highwire, so they certainly know their beans. Besides, it's a lot easier to park over here. Avocado Toast and Keep It Tight Acai Bowl
    Sabeena B.

This was probably the best avocado toast I she ever had in my life. Came here post hike and it will be my new go to spot. The flavors from the pickled onions worked so well on the warm sourdough and the avocado was perfect! The space is small but it does have some wall sweating! The staff was also kind and willing to help with any questions on the menu!

Wow! I had a such a wonderful experience at RIDE today. Jada made me the best iced vanilla latte and avocado toast I've ever had! Every day is a good day when Jada's behind the bar. #GoRIDE‍

    Acai climb that hill
    Sanjana S.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon to fulfill an acai bowl craving. I called ahead and asked for the climb that hill without coconut. Unfortunately it still had coconut shreds in it. I didn't ask for them to remake it since I didn't want to waste this one. It was a bit sweeter than my taste but still a solid bowl. I wish the nut butter was a bit less clumpy but I still liked it. The music was really loud indoors so I chose to sit on their table outside and it was a nice day. Overall, I probably would pick other acai bowl places over this one but would consider returning if I was in the neighborhood.

Highwire roast (2.75) in mid air

Ride Bar is the in house smoothie and coffee bar that accompanies the Ride cyclying operation on the streets of Piedmont ave. Ride Bar is right behind it. didn't have time to dissect what's available. just went with the default brew on tap. brew: highwire roasts (lg.) 2.75 -satisfying medium roast without any arabica issues. shortly, i drank all ot it. -obviously, no inside nor outside dining seating options.

    Climb that hill açaí bowl

OMG YUMMMM I stopped here after a workout just for the smoothie bowls and found out they also offer spin classes! I got the "climb that hill" açaí bowl and it was packed with flavor. The cherries were perfectly tart mixed with yummy berries and a homemade nut butter. Definitely full of flavor I would recommend!! Service was fantastic as well.

    Oatmilk latte
    Emily L.

I am embarrassed to say this but when I ordered a latte I wasn't expecting the question "what kind of milk would you like?" I normally order from chains where whole milk is the default. I was even more thrown off and embarassed when I asked what do you mean and he listed off the types of milk including "cows milk". It was so weird to hear cows milk haha Needless to say I went with the oat milk option haha. The coffee was Highwire coffee and boy did I feel highwired after my latte! It was very strong and very caffinated! The oat milk was nice and thick so it was great with the strong coffee. Another great spot found thanks to the Yelp Vegan Passport! Maybe I will make it back for a class too!

    Climb the Hill Acai Bowl
    Ashna D.

Initially at $11.50 per bowl, I was a little hesitant at the price and small-ish size of the bowl but my friend and I definitely thought it was worth it after considering how filling it was. We both got the Climb the Hill acai bowls and they tasted so sweet and delicious. I usually dislike when bowls have too much acai base and not enough toppings but this bowl had an even proportion of acai, granola, almond butter and fruits. The cacao nibs and coconut flakes were the icing on top and it added crunchy texture. I'll definitely be back next time I have an acai craving!

    Nice clean and cheerful space.

The most excellent oat milk chai ever! (5/5 Green Stars). This was a very brief visit while I waited for a friend to go for a walk around Piedmont Cemetery on a sunny Friday afternoon. What better way to spend a Friday afternoon? I'm so glad that I stopped in at the Ride Bar because it was a very pleasant experience. I asked for an oat milk chai and have to say that it's probably the best chai that I've ever had - certainly top three. I think that it's homemade since the mix was in a jug (rather than a package) in their fridge. It was actually the barista's first time making a chai, so a great success all round. I also bought an apple and that's also noteworthy: almost the only time I've ever bought a piece of fruit at a café. They coaxed me over to the healthy side with their cunning omission of pastries from the menu. Their main food offerings are fruit/granola bowls (yes, including acai) and oatmeal. They are focused on smoothies, but don't ignore their killer chai. Nice counter spaces with Wi-Fi and power outlets and also some outdoor seating. I'm giving Ride Bar 5/5 "green stars" for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Almost all plant-based. Vegans: just check for honey. * Almost all made from scratch (down to the nut butter). * Coffee from Highwire and tea from Blue Willow * The menu says "Organic and Woman Owned" at the top but it wasn't clear which ingredients are organic (besides the oats which are listed as organic on the menu). Would be good to get some clarity on that as it's a prominently displayed selling point. Giving the benefit of the doubt for now ;) * Woman-owned business. * Waste reduction: they have mason jars prominently displayed at the counter, on sale for $3 each. AÇAÍ BOWL: we found this cute spot in Piedmont and it was well worth every scoop. It's cute spot right next to a spinning studio and they offer Smoothies and different bowls. We got the Valerie Açaí which had granola, house made nut butter , hemp seeds and cacao nibs. They also offer dragon fruit bowls and oatmeal. Street parking is free for 2 hours. Come and check it out !

Love coming to this place to get my açaí bowl fix. I pretty much always get the Keep It Tight bowl which is what you see here.

We went mainly for drinks and tried a latte, tiramisu latte, and a Spanish latte. The tiramisu latte and Spanish latte were both really good and definitely my favorites. It comes unsweetened, so I asked for it to be sweetened and it was great after that. The vanilla matcha was fine too, just not my top pick. They're also dropping a new Ramadan drink soon, a date latte, which sounds really good and I'll probably come back just to try that. Overall, great drinks and a nice place to hang out.
