I've been getting smoothies off and on for a few years now. At O'smoothie. Today I decided to get a smoothie bowl. I like this place because they have pretty nice combinations for smoothies. A good deal of variety, in general. With the bowls, they're pretty simple, two base flavors and pick your own toppings. Excellent! Service was fast & fuss free. However, when I went to dive into my bowl, I couldn't find the base fruit (I got dragonfruit). My bowl was mostly toppings. Definitely the smallest bowl I've ever been served. So if you like açaí & açaí type bowls, I wouldn't suggest this place. If you're someone who likes bowls just for the toppings, then you're at the right spot. I showed them how I could barely find the dragonfruit, but they said that's what their bowls look like - they weigh it to the half point and then add toppings. read more

O Smoothie is a good smoothie and juice bar located in Montclair Village. We discovered this place after having lunch at Taqueria Las Comadres, a few doors down. I tried the "Ooh La La Passion Fruit!" fruit smoothie and it was refreshing and delicious. Service was great. The smoothie was made with apple, passionfruit, peach, and mango. It cost $9.78 after tax and tip. This was for a 12-ounce serving. 16 and 24-ounce sizes were also available. The drink was fresh and made to order. When the employee made it, they blended the ingredients in different batches/phases. My wife thought it was interesting because she's never noticed smoothies at other shops blended in that way; the employees usually dump everything in and press the blend button once. The O Smoothie employee took extra care in making the drink. During our visit, the shop had 20 smoothies on the menu plus juices, shots, bowls (e.g., acai bowl), and treats like mangonadas. The store is humble and tiny with almost no seating. There was a bench outside the storefront. This place is more of a counter-service / takeout joint than anything. The employee was polite and efficient. O Smoothie replaced Juice Appeal, another smoothie and juice bar in this same spot, in March 2016. We would definitely come back. read more

I've had a few smoothies here and they are yummy and affordable. Staff is always kind.

I love their açaí bowl - fresh fruit, fresh toppings. I haven't tried their smoothies or juice but based on what I see from other customers picking up their orders, it looks delicious and refreshing. Consistent pleasant and professional staff. The prep area looks clean and organized. I'm definitely coming back!! read more

The smoothie was great. The ambiance was cute. This spot in piedmont is really nice. The service was awesome and she chose a smoothie for me when I asked her to. Added ginger to one and the other tasted like kale I think. Would come beck to the their açaí bowls sometimes since they looked so great. It was really good and I'm excited for my next time here. read more

That smoothie was so good, I started drinking it and then realized I hadn't taken a picture of it yet, lol!! Located in Montclair Village, I was lucky to get into O Smoothie before they closed. I ordered the Trend Setter, and it was very smooth and flavorful. They have a bench outside, but this place is grab and go. The employees were very friendly and pretty quick with the smoothies. Next time I'm in Montclair Village, I'm definitely stopping by this place again!! read more

FAVORITE smoothie spot hands down! I ordered a bee yourself, it was good but didn't like the blueberries with it. Something tasted off to me. I went again another time & ordered bee yourself sub blueberries for mango. WAAAAY BETTER! I read bee pollen helps w/breast growth, hence why I ordered it. Who knows it might be a lie but bee pollen does have many health benefits. Service has always been A1 here, I dislike how sometimes they do close earlier than 4:30. Make sure to call if you're traveling a distance to ensure they are open. There is no inside seating, but there is a bench right outside. read more

Came here after a morning hike at the Skyline Gate Trails. Was craving a smoothie right after & decided to reward myself with a stop to Montclair Village at O Smoothie, I like how they're more reasonably priced than your average Starbucks, Jamba Juice, or Vitality Bowls. In fact, they come with a lot of options for supplements, add-ons, and substitutions. You can basically create your own smoothie! The names are pretty creative as well! This will become my new go-to place when I'm in Oakland. It's right across from the Orange Theory and Starbucks, you don't wanna miss out! Our smoothies came out quickly and we were greeted by the friendly patrons. Check this place out! Absolutely no sweeteners and artificial ingredients. The greenness of the interior makes me happy lol. My order of choice made me feel so much better after the hike and it's like I was drinking straight green juice without the regular taste. It tasted like a normal fruit smoothie! read more

They're definitely very accommodating to your request for substitutions. I got the Avocado Monster and they allowed me to replace oat milk with soy milk. They also replaced pear with mango and soy with oat milk on the Wanna Matcha my friend ordered. The only downside was the cup sizes were definitely smaller than I'm used to. But they're accommodating made up for it On a side note, make sure to have cash or an actual debit/credit card. Some gift cards may not work as my friend's Visa gift card didn't work on their POS system Metered parking close to the venue. read more

Perfect addition to a Sunday at the farmer's market! I get the Berry Happy- it really does make me feel VERY happy! There's a creaminess to the smoothie that I love. Cute lil hole-in-the-wall shop with yummy smoothies The Pink Lemonade with some protein is a solid snack.

They take Apple Pay. Which is a huge step for before when they were cash only. But, I think they may be under different management since the last time I had visited. I tried the Coco-Loco which was a tropical blend with coconut. The pale brown color didn't look appetizing. I guess I was thinking it would come out yellow from the pineapple. Or whitish from the coconut. And I was hoping it would tasted like a puma colada on this warm summer day. But, it had a chalky taste that lingered at the back of my mouth. The menu didn't have many options that caught my eye or intrigued me to try... so I may not become a regular here. It is however a step up from the chunky tartness of Jamba Juice. read more

I like coming here. Montclair is kinda uppity a little bit, but this place is down to Earth. I have tried a couple drinks so far, but the Sunrise & Curry Splash are my go-tos. I appreciate they have three different types of proteins. The acai & pitaya bowls are fully customizable up to six toppings, so that's nice. It is a little on the smaller side, but it's okay. read more

I tried O Smoothie on recommendation of my aesthetician in Montclair, following my appointment. I was looking for a filling green smoothie or açaí bowl. This shop has an extensive menu of smoothies. I tried the K.O.with whey protein and it was great but not filling. No fault of the store I should have ordered something with banana or an açaí bowl, but upon asking if they included almond butter as an option, decided against it. They do not include any nuts. I thought this was strange but perhaps it's too challenging to deal with the liability of cross contamination for people with nut allergies. To be a legit açaí bowl store IMO needs to have nuts and butter thus I deducted one Star. read more

This is an unassuming place. Had no idea it was even there even though I'm regularly in Montclair. I highly recommend the dragon bowl. Oh my, it's so good and delicious. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients here. You choose your toppings. I had bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and they put this icy dragonfruit in the middle topped with honey. A must order again! Also had a wheatgrass shot, it was Uber fresh and shockingly something I would order again. My son had the mango smoothie (fruit and veggie combo) and that was just okay. He prefers the matcha smoothie he had before. You can taste the quality in the ingredients at this place. I think everything is organic too. This place is way better than jambas! read more

I come here three times a week because I work around the corner at Camber Montclair and I've never been disappointed. The smoothie operators are friendly and welcoming, and I'm pretty sure there are only three or four of them and they've been working here for longer than a month. With that being said, I do not believe that the 1 star rating given to this business before me is an accurate reflection on the customer service. First of all, there weren't any specific details on what happened in that review. Secondly, it sounded a bit uptight. I work around here, I know how some people are when it comes to the customer is always right ideology and how far they can take things. Let's just say some people are more entitled or sensitive than others and that while we, food employees of Montclair, are hired to serve you, we aren't robots that will serve you indifferently after you start raising your voice or using a disrespectful tone. Anyway, I've been trying things out on the menu, but my hands down favorite is a Berry Happy! with spirulina. It is $.50 to add on things that enhance the nutrition of the smoothie so I add spirulina to everything I order here. Also, almost everything is vegan friendly, and if it isn't, you can easily ask to omit ingredients or substitute. They also have a small collection of protein snacks that are vegan friendly!!! Besides customer service, this place has a menu with nutrition facts on each smoothie on the menu that tells you how much carbs, protein, fiber, etc is in it. You also can get a stamp card if you're a regular like me and get a 16 oz smoothie for every 10 smoothies you buy. Try this place out! read more

I submit this bad rating in an attempt to educate staff who need to step outside of their unwelcoming demeanors and engage cordially with sincere and well meaning customers. When asking simple basic questions, the quick to anger young lady suggests a disrespect for the local community of loyal Montclair customers who frequent this business on a daily basis helping to sustain it. Also, on another specific matter relating to how management prioritizes their juice making: you offer complicated, but great juice blends that can be put at the back of the order cue behind what you refer to as "simpler" drinks. This business practice is unfair but would be overlooked if the sour atmosphere produced smiles and an occasional greeting.. read more
