Came here to get a quick boba fix. Ordered a mocha snow with boba, it tasted great. The drink took about 5 mins or so, I didn't pay for parking so I was hoping it'll be quick, lol. Was surprised there was so many different food options posted on the walls. There were pictures so that's helpful to see what the items looked like. One wall had a lot of mini claw machines too. If you're craving Boba, or even Quickly specifically, just go to a different place. It took us 30 minutes of waiting to get two drinks and three food items (for reference, the one in China Town took 10-15mins last time we went). We watched about 3-4 orders taken and serviced before us. On top of that, one of the drinks was placed in the bag upside down. Even if boba drink cups are typically "sealed", you should probably tell the customer it's upside down so it doesn't end up spilling on everything. Also, the two "gentlemen" inside were mad about something in the back. Probably unrelated to work, but still evidently made them off their game. I stopped by twice recently, once on 5/30/2022 and again today 6/24/2022. The first time, I ordered a strawberry rose tea, large size, 25% ice and 50% sweet - I was originally going to ask for no ice but the cashier mentioned this would result in a room temperature drink and it was a hot day, so I changed it to 25% ice. It was $5.50 including my tip. You can order in person at the register, or use the Snackpass kiosk or app to order and pay. The rose drinks were listed on a paper on a side wall rather than on the main menus above the counter; they have several menus like that posted on the walls, so make sure to look at all of them if you want to know their full range of options. On a side note, I loved the cashier's "emotionally exhausted" shirt. The strawberry rose tea drink itself was a bit more watered down than I expected, so I only wish the flavor was stronger. As for my second visit, I ordered a rose milk tea via the Snackpass kiosk, at the regular cold size of 24oz. There were no options in the kiosk/screen to modify the ice and sweetness levels, so I assume what they gave me were their standard levels. This one was a lot more full-bodied than the prior drink I had gotten and quite sweet. I assume they might be able to modify your sweetness and ice levels if you write it into the additional comments section in Snackpass. It was about a 15 minute wait time each time given there were some orders ahead of mine. Overall, the prices are okay given the quantity and how much the newer boba shops in the area cost, and they do have a fairly large amount of snacks and food on the menu too. We took advantage of the free drink woth rice bowl deal and got a fried octopus rice bowl plus a thai tea snow. The fried octopus was delicious. Fresh, hot (temperature wise), not too salty, and paired well with both the white rice and teriyaki as well as the marinara sauce on the side. My friend and I usually hang out in Lakeshore since it's so close to her place. Their services could be a bit better sometimes though (there are a lot of teenagers that work there, which I don't mind but it can be awkward if they have attitude lol). But for the most part I just get my food, go, and move on. The food is pretty good and I have no complaints about that. An iconic snack here would be the popcorn chicken and a lot of people order that. Quickly's is also popular for boba/bubble tea, so if anyone wanted to try that out, I would recommend to get some here. There's a large menu for many different flavors and toppings for boba, and if you're not in the mood for any then they also have many different types of other drinks as well. On another additional note, this is a bit irrelevant to my review but I feel I need to say this: I saw a review by a particular person, and I have to say, his review was very unjust. He mentioned that his s/o went to exchange a drink they didn't like and the cashier gave them a hard time. But what he didn't mention was that after some bickering, his s/o actually trotted over to the utensil and condiments section to pour the old drink all over the utensil cups. There was also excess liquid all over the floor in that section as well, and the employees had to later clean that mess up. Another thing to keep in mind when you post a review: Check your attitude and stop being entitled. When you're given an order you don't like, it's not the employees' responsibilities to head up to your fancy, golden castle and bow down to your throne to exchange the orders for you. It's super petty to continue arguing when you can just suck it up and be a grown adult and purchase another thing. Nice, clean location. I'm not a HUGE boba fan, but came in because I was really in the mood for Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken. Ordered this 'snack,' and got a significant portion for $6 even. I was impressed by the quality, freshness (right out of the fryer), and taste. It was not spicy at all, but their condiment section features ketchup, sriracha, soy sauce, red pepper, and salt/black pepper; between these, I was able to manually spice up my dish to a satisfactory level. I opted for the long toothpick instead of fork / chopsticks, and was happy with that decision. Apparently if one orders a rice bowl ($5.50), a jasmine tea or boba milk tea can be added on for only 1 dollar more. I would likely be back sooner if there was more of a deal with this place.
