Quickly's has never been my fav. (they were better than tap. ex though). syrups never won me over. usually ordered the weak tea. tea so weak if u add sugar, no more tea taste. noticed standing board in front of store. all kind of "bowls" offered (4.99) + drink = 5.99 eats: popcorn chicken w/ jasmine milk tea(5.99) -inadvertantedly handed over an extra dollar. got it back -popcorn was tender, not overfried, lots of its. mini-nuggets -rice, short grain, softer, easier to eat, had a little bit of gravy, eat it all. take outs: -fab service, honesty and reasonably priced food 3.5 stars -like this more than linjia's korean fried chicken..(11). -this quickly so reasonable, friendly, quick service.... -jasmine milk tea too sweet, forget to cancel the sugar. -look for promos on standing board in front of store. read more

Nice little friendly boba spot when you're by Lake Merritt! Only have a few tables inside but usually we take it to go. Spicy popcorn chicken could be spicier, but they have a full condiment section full of extra spices & sauce for you to add on manually. Reasonably priced, basically the amount you'd pay for at most boba places. read more

I'm always a fan of quickly's Taro milk tea with grass jelly I know I'm hella late on this but I didn't know they opened a quickly on lakeshore until my son asked me if I wanted some boba so after shopping at footlocker we stopped by here it was only a few people in the shop no one was at the front desk I placed my order for two Taro milk tea and a popcorn chicken everything was good. read more

Probably one of, if not the best Quickly that I've been to. I ordered the Oreo milk tea and the crispy mini octopus during my visit. Oreo milk tea (4/5) Tasted like regular milk tea with a hint of Oreo flavor with Oreo crumbs. This was surprisingly creamy and very delicious. The sweetness wasn't too overwhelming either and I didn't ask for any sweetness adjustments. This is my first time ordering this and was the most expensive items in the milk tea section (3.50 as opposed to the average of 2.99). Only thought would be that there could be more Oreo flavor, but otherwise super delicious. Fried mini octopus (4/5) Perfectly fried to a nice crisp with not too much breading. They give you a good amount for 4.50. Other quicklys I've been to either have too much breading or too little food, but this didn't have either of the problems. However, you do need to flavor your food yourself, so that's something to note. It comes out bland but I'm sure it's intentional since everyone has different tastes. They have spicy powder, pepper and salt on the counter for you to adjust as you like. Other quicklys usually ask you for the spicy level and even if you don't say any they'll add salt and pepper. This isn't a big deal but something that people should note. Love this quickly! Will be back for more. read more

Yay for grand opening & regular prices on their big size promo! Also yay because we have boba in a highly populated area of mostly Caucasians too! It sounds so exciting to me for them to be curious of this boba stuff too lol. I work down the street & my ASM told me that my manager recently had her first boba ever & she was literally just blown away. They have an extensive menu, With snacks and drinks. The drinks are soy-based, which is nice because I am vegan. They also have other milk options available. The drinks and food usually come out pretty fast. The workers are always pleasant and welcoming. Parking can be hard in the area, but that isn't the establishments fault. read more

For starters, the prices are much better here than most Milk Tea places. A small milk tea is $2.50. Also, no credit card minimum (rare!). There's Free Wi-Fi that actually works, not many tables and seats, but there's usually seating. It's right on Lakeshore with big window views of the street. Music playing, friendly staff. This place is aptly named - my tea always comes out quickly and I'm never waiting long. The food is pretty average and the tiger milk tea is the only thing I'd ever specifically come here for, but they are nice and fast and good if you're in the area and are craving some boba. Definitely a lot better than some of the other Quickly locations. read more

Just went in today and as I am waiting here I secretly find one of the employees dropping some food (fried tofu) about 2 of them. I've order from here through doordash a few times. Each time they have given me my milk tea boba drinks without any boba... Even though it is requested under additional instructions. This is the 4th time now and so I had to write a review. With this particular order the strawberry yogurt drink i ordered was just strawberry juice... Its not rocket science and reading orders properly, i would think, is pretty basic. This was my first time going to Quicklys, ever. I know that there is one on E 14th, but I was never allowed to go there. Since I just found out (today) that there is one on Lakeshore, I decided to go in because I was in a mood for some milk tea. Ordered the regular milk tea ($2.50) with tapioca. Not sure if they charged me for the tapioca, because I wasn't really aware. I also ordered the takoyaki ($5.99) which turned out to be hella good once my order was called. The lady at the cash register was nice enough to upgrade my drink for free because today is Halloween, and I was in costume. She also gave me a Quickly stamp card alongside free candy! As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted by their friendly staff. I have been to other Quickly stores, but this one is unique and has a very good look inside. The food quality is great(we ordered snacks), more to say the popcorn chicken is "d bomb" and the drinks are very refreshing. Chicken was POWDERY and UNDERWHELMING as if they rushed it and didn't cook the coating all the way through. Last week has Mr Green Bubble on Piedmont Ave and it was WAYYY better. I went to quickly's yesterday and was helped instantly. I got an Oreo Chocolate Nutella snow (best drink I've ever had). The young lady at the front desk was very willing to help and answer all questions and inquires I had about multiple drinks before ordering. Music selection was good, enough seating area for myself and my collage who came with me. Wait time was under 4 minutes. The cashier rung up the order and I paid for it and said it was fine. The owners mom went outside to make sure that the sign said everyday Happy Hour. Love this Quickly! I've been to one other and they are very different; I was not impressed with the other location. I always order the matcha milk tea with tapioca and it is the best! The perfect amount of sweetness for me. I also like that their sealed tops work well, but also are easy to pierce, unlike U Cha in Berkeley where I need to repeatedly and forcefully stab the sealed too to get to my drink (it can get a little messy). I would have given 5 stars but they recently changed their rewards program and you basically have to spend $50 to get a free drink now. read more
