It was hard to decide from the variety of their catering menu because so much of it reminded me of my childhood favorites. I ordered the following, and of course it was way too much, but folks were excited to take home leftovers: - Popcorn Chicken - Pork chop egg fried rice - Chicken cutlet egg fried rice - Qua Bao - Veggie Chow Mein - Crispy Fried Tofu Sticks (with garlic dipping sauce and pickled cabbage) - Seasonal Veggie & Mushroom The popcorn chicken, egg fried rice, and veggie chow mein was the kids' favorites, along with the winter melon lemon tea, which David and Marysa threw in for being their first customer in Pleasant Hill. The adults enjoyed everything that was offered, and were excited to try many new dishes for the first time. Overall, the flavors were reminiscent of my memories of eating in Taiwan, and that was a huge plus! Communication was easy, and the day of the event, they sent pics of the food. Not only did they include delivery over $350, the food was brought in piping hot & they helped set up the food. They also have boba tea (which also originated in Taiwan), milk tea, regular ice cream, freshly cooked Chinese finger foods, and more. The place has tables inside and out and is always immaculate. I also really appreciate that they don't add the problem of landfills overflowing with plastics! They use real dishes and real silverware. I don't know of any other place that conscientious. I have been going here for 8 years. It was started by a couple from Taiwan and the owners the last several years are from China. They keep the place open seven days a week, but even with that grueling work schedule, the customer service is always fantastic. They go out of their way to keep their customers happy. Apparently, I'm not the only one who loves the place, because when school gets out, the place is filled with teenagers and families with children. It's a great place to hang out. I added sago for texture and it did give it a nice profile overall. The 4 pieces of lychee also gave it added sweetness to my drink. It was chilled nicely and overall, it did brighten up my mood for the day. I think I need to go to 30% sweet and it will be perfect for me. Overall, I can see myself coming back here again.
