mango funtime smoothie and thai tea w boba
    Keani C.

came in on a friday afternoon. wasn't too packed so service was really fast. we got the mango funtime smoothie w boba and a classic thai tea. mango funtime smoothie was delicious and super refreshing. would def go back to get that again. the classic thai tea however was really watered down and didn't meet my expectations. i asked for light ice but it didn't seem like their was light ice. the whole drink barely had any taste and i had a hard time pin pointing the thai tea flavor. boba was hard so keep that in mind when visiting. presentation looked amazing on the other hand!!

Being one of my go-to chain brands, it was a no brainer to come to this location when I found myself in Walnut Creek and craving for some boba. Located in a large outdoor shopping center, there are plenty of parking spots despite the hectic amount of cars that are constantly passing through. The store itself is inviting, clean and spacious. It was approaching Easter when I visited, so they had quite a bit of cute Easter decorations up at that time. I placed an order through the app, but strangely enough it was taking a bit to go through on their system. The lady behind the counter very graciously offered to make the drink for me anyways despite their system lag. Ordered a Mango Funtime Smoothie and w/ boba and really enjoyed the fresh mango used in the drink. The cold slushie hit perfectly on a hot day. Free wifi is also available here and I was able to park myself for 30mins while I got some work done.

Fantastic service from the teaspoon employees. Everyone seems super nice and accommodating! The drinks are great, I'm very happy with what they picked to substitute part of my drink with (I have a mild allergy to green tea). The place was very clean and pretty, would recommend.

Vietnamese coffee with additional honey boba topping

A coffee made well is a coffee worth having, and this is true of Teaspoon's new lineup of Vietnamese coffee. Bold and invigorating, these coffees look good, taste delicious, and make for a wonderful midmorning energy boost. The one Teaspoon in my area was on the other side of town, so I headed across town to get there. Parking was easy to find, and I walked into the Teaspoon. Upbeat music played, and the shop smelled wonderfully of brewed teas and sweet milks. The menu was on my right, and a kiosk for ordering was just below. The staff took my order for a Vietnamese coffee with an additional topping of honey boba. I got my coffee and headed out, eager to try it. The first sip was solid. The coffee was robust and rich, an intense flavor sweetened just enough by and balanced by the condensed milk. Dark, earthy, with notes of cream, nuts, and chocolate, my Vietnamese coffee was as good as Vietnamese coffees I've had elsewhere. The honey boba was malty and chewy, and I liked how it added fun texture to the coffee. I enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee, and I'm definitely coming back to Teaspoon to try another coffee from their lineup.

We ordered boba catering for my friend Stefanie's wedding in mid-June. I made drink signs and coordinator Joseph L., his wife Susie, & staff took care of the rest. Communication through email was clear and very helpful. Delivery/drink arrangement at the venue was smooth and on time. We ordered premade sealed drinks for roughly 60 guests. They also offer a full service boba bar for more guests. Drinks: *Lemonades: Original, Strawberry, Mango *Jasmine Boba Milk Tea (most popular) *Lady Bug: Passionfruit Green Tea + Honey Boba & Lychee Jelly *Strawberry Sangria: Strawberry Black Tea + Honey Boba & Strawberry Heart Jelly Soo refreshing and much needed to keep guests cooled off while dancing all night long! I had the Lady Bug and the honey boba was cooked perfectly-- chewy/bouncy soft. We ordered less sweet and adding both lychee jelly plus boba made it too sweet for my taste (I'm a 0% sugar gal hehe). However, everyone else loved it! Thank you so much to Joseph, Susie, and all of the Walnut Creek location staff!! We'll be sure to stop by this Teaspoon the next time we're in town.

teaspoon is a cult classic in my household, but only for one drink. we only buy one thing and have never deviated from it. the strawberry colada is SOOO good. perfect balance of coconut and strawberry drizzle throughout the drink from being on the cup and the bottom. we always add lychee jelly and it's a perfect combination. absolutely love this drink

    Liquid Gold & Caramel Cream

Teaspoon is everywhere now LOL. A plus in my eyes! Now I can get their Liquid Gold whenever I want~ Most stores are pretty much the same, minimalist decor with some basic seating. Staff are usually hardworking, polite students. LIQUID GOLD (50 sweet, less ice, with boba): Satisfies my sweet tooth! Creamy milk + floral oolong + QQ boba, always good no matter the location. Menu has the same 18 drinks + 2 seasonals. Their marshmallow-y boba is also consistently QQ and good. Most of the time I order Liquid Gold, but when I do deviate from my regular I've never had a bad drink.

This place was good but tasted like something was missing maybe because we got the coffee mixed options? Idk...Will try milk tea next time and update my post. Don't get me wrong it was good and worth a try!

I leave Whole Foods Market at the end of May and Teaspoon open. I must had lost my mind by re-locating to Berkeley. I tried out this place. I will admit this is better than Ice Monster. The selection of drinks are understand-able. The inside of Teaspoon is unique. I like how neat it looks inside. My drink was good. I am not complaining about how it taste. I will give this place a try again

New Teaspoon in Walnut Creek! It is located in the same plaza as Whole Foods down Ygnacio Valley Road. 5-stars for the aesthetic and service. The interior is brand new, modern, and sleek with a good amount of indoor seating (no outdoor seating though). The service was also really good and quick! I only had to wait a couple minutes for my drink. The employees were very helpful and kind. 3-stars because, well, I just don't think the boba is all that special here. I got their House Milk Tea and Honey Gold (oolong milk tea) and both were just "ok." The boba consistency was decent (a little chewy) and the tea flavor was average. Nothing really stood out or was special. Everything about these drinks just screamed "average." Sorry! I would love to come back and try one of their speciality drinks, which may be better and higher quality. Prices for their basic drinks are about $6.25 with boba which is typical these days. You can also adjust your sweetness and ice level. Plenty of plaza parking.

We went here for a quick Boba before B Ball practice. I had been to the Newark and the San Ramon location previously. I had ordered a Black Sugar tea. A Mixed Mango with Milk; and a Caramel Milk Boba tea. The peeps there were super nice and friendly. Pretty spacious place and had a few seats inside store. I will definitely be back since I work nearby and it is the closet place to my workplace. Milk Caramels Boba was delicious They also have a customer loyalty point reward system when you frequently visit.

Our first Teaspoon in this part of the East Bay. While most of them that I knew before were a bit further down south from where I am in the East Bay (San Ramon being the next closest), I'm glad to see one finally here, albeit, we don't already have enough boba places around. But as far as boba specific places go in this direct area, it's one of the better ones. Located in the same shopping center as Whole Foods and Rocco's Ristorante Pizzeria, it won't be too hard to find. It's right next to Jade Garden, which has been there for decades now. Teaspoon doesn't have a very large menu, but have enough options that you can re-visit several times and still find something new off the menu. They do have the basic milk teas options of course, but also have some more specialty ones. Price wise, it's going to be relatively the same as most of the other boba spots. The cups they use are the tall cups, so you get a good amount of drink for your order. The staff here were pretty friendly on my first visit. Easy to converse with, and they were pretty fast at making our drinks. I got two drinks to try today: House Milk Tea, Black Sugar Assam The House Milk Tea is good, same as the other locations. I like the flavor of their teas, so that is one thing that's good with Teaspoon spots. Their boba here is pretty decent as well. It's more soft than QQ at this location, so just depends on your preference. The Black Sugar Assam is basically a brown sugar. Lots of brown sugar smeared on the inside of the cup (mainly for appearance). The drink is pretty sweet, just like any other brown sugar drink typically, so just be aware of what you're ordering. No complaints with this drink today either. I will definitely be back for more Teaspoon again, and glad that one finally opened in our area. Supposedly, their grand opening will be in June, but for now they are good to go for the soft opening for those who wants to drop by.

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - You can either park at the library lot, Civic Park, or the Broadway city garage a block away. - Contactless payment. - They have limited indoor and outdoor seating.

The morning ritual is the best smoothie I've ever had. It's hard to balance health and flavor, but this was both healthy and incredible. You can even add different boosters such as mass muscle, etc. It's located inside of a gym, to the right side of it. Don't be thrown off, you don't need a membership to enjoy the fantastic smoothies. The workers have been really sweet each time we've visited, and when we ordered via Uber it was ready upon arrival. One of the only drawbacks is how expensive it is. I also really wish that they listed their nutrition facts online. For such a health oriented company it's shocking that they don't, and especially a company of decent size. The smoothies contain dates, nuts, etc. So although they are good ingredients they can be high in fats, so it's important to know. Our smoothie also has coffee as well which we enjoy, but knowing the caffeine content would be appreciated. My last order also had huge white frozen balls that were unblended in it which was odd, I'm not quite sure what they were. If the price was lower, we would come here much more often. There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.
