Amazing matcha, coffee, & redbull drinks! Cam is so lovely & really puts her heart into her products! I've seen another review where they made a comment about the cakes that were being sold & it does not come from Cam directly so I don't think it's fair to include that on here. Overall, amazing little spot and the rewards system pays off! :)

Smash Burger: beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and BAM Sauce +$3 extra beef patty (4/5). Tasty smash burger though, the potato bun fell apart quite quickly. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw crinkle cut fries were included. As we were thinking of ordering some but decided to get something in the Stanford Stadium.

The smashburger had an off-putting sweet element I couldn't put my finger on; could've been the bun, sauce, perhaps oil it was cooked in? Crinkle fries weren't quality, & the mozzarella sticks had next to zero cheese inside. Forget about a cheese pull, I basically bit into an empty tube of fried breading. Instead of marinara (always my preference), we were given ranch, as it seemed they were running on a limited menu that night. My companion was not a fan of his chicken wings with a sweet & spicy "candy" sauce. I hate for this review to be an exercise in whiny complaints but food like this is the reason I'm apprehensive to try new eateries.

This is a two star review. I came here at the recommendation of a co-worker and want to like it…read moremore than I did. I think the problem is that I couldn't get past the lack of a restroom in the area. They had some portables, but they are making food and we are supposed to eat it. Where are they washing their hands? This area is also pretty cold so if you go, make sure that you have a coat, scarf and hat. I'll never make that mistake again. But because of the cold, I didn't want to eat outside so our food got a cold, but it was good. My husband liked the food he got, but gluten free options are super limited. They get a third star because of the bar! Now there was only one person working there and that's fine because he could go get a snack or something and come back to pour drinks, but again. The restroom issue. Where does he wash his hands, what if he has a cold and sneezes into them, and so on. That's where my mind went. The vendors are quite nice and were helpful and weren't mean when they answered my GF questions and I appreciate that. So, this is like the little engine that could. I can see that it is a gathering spot for people and they have music and speakers which is cool. So I saw and felt a community vibe and people really seemed to like going. If I lived in the area, I may try it a bit more, but in all honestly, Oakland Museum's Off the Grid event is everything I wish this was. I'm sure that they will get there, but don't want to hang out while they figure it out.

I'm not sure if the selection changes as I only went once, but the selection was smaller than I…read moreexpected and there wasn't that many people there.

I really love getting food at that event because you can sit under the trees and enjoy the beautiful park, the breeze, and joyful people laughing while you eat. It's a nice change of pace from the midweek slump. I loooooved their paninis. Mom got the vegetariano with salad and I got the chicken panini with fries. The salad was good and we appreciated that it was tossed already. The fries were bomb, exactly the kind I prefer the most (on the thinner side, mixture of crispy and soft, nicely salted). I couldn't pick which panini I loved more because they were both delicious. I usually only eat half my sandwiches and save the other half for later, but it was so dang good that I scarfed the whole thing down (and gave myself a stomach ache ofc haha)! Now keep in mind that I do have high standards. I'm not going to fork over $18 (GAG COUGH) for a sandwich if it doesn't vastly exceed expectations, and yeah this honestly delivers. It's totally worth the price because you usually can't get a panini this flavorful and quality out here on a typical day. Also the guy at the window was nice so that's a perk. Anyway, this food is absolutely delicious and we'll be back again to try more tasty things!
