Got my fix for some mochinuts. I don't come often as these are too sweet but the chewy texture and the cute designs are what keep me coming back. Lychee ones are by far my favorite!!
The donuts are really tasty - but the price is a little much for what you get. The staff was nice, but they didn't seem to be fully attentive to us when we were trying to order. The ambiance and decor leaves something to be desired, but it's not really a sit down place, more of a take and go. Certainly worth getting the mochi donuts.
Summary: Definitely recommend. Lovely (and cute) staff. Food and drink is good. Food: Fresh donuts all the time. They have a selection of flavors. They are not overly sweet. You can actually taste the flavors. Still good the following day. Drinks were just the right amount of sweetness. However, when. I got my drink, it was a bit warm? (Both drinks were warm.) Corn dogs were overall good. The only not so good was the mozzarella Cheetos, it was greasy! Service: Polite and friendly. Space: Casual and clean. Bathroom: Clean and smells good. Parking: Free parking.

My husband and I had a family reunion to go to and so we were wondering what we could bring to contribute to the potluck and lucky for us, Mochinut was nearby and open. We opted for a dozen of mochi donuts because it's kind of expensive so we couldn't splurge, but the girl working the counter was quick to process and take our order which was appreciated. Overall, it's a good place to stop by for a quick bite and it's inside a small lot so there's plenty of parking available.
My kids were dying to try Mochinut. Broke down and took them. The store is cute and clean on the inside. There are little tables to sit and eat at if you chose to stay, but it is more of a take out situation. I'd say if you're into the food, than you'll be happy because the portions a huge!! For us, they were not that into the food, just wasn't for them. I say give them a try. It might be your jam, it just wasn't for us.

Got them for post dinner desserts, and by the time we had them, they still tasted fresh. The donut itself was still soft (it felt more airy than a regular yeast donut). I really enjoy the two I got with a vanilla glaze. They were perfectly sweet, and the chewiness was just spot on. They also paired super well with coffee. I definitely want to go back and their try other flavors and maybe their boba drinks as well.

It had a lot of small chunks of ice, so every sip I took, I was biting ice. It was still good though, I drank it all. The Korean hot dog itself was hella good. It was sweet, the cheese was cheesy and everything was delicious!
what a great experience with Korean corn dogs! i ordered the most appealing Korean corn dogs for me: cereal crunch, ramen and hot Cheetos. i ordered through self order, right close to the entrance. customer service was lovely, and the ambiance was busy, with lots of groups inside. you also have self serve sauces, such as ketchup, mustard, garlic mayo, spicy aioli. i would suggest eating your corn dogs asap, as you may not get your desired cheese pull once a little cold. they had a buy one, get one drink offer, so it was a must to get a mango tea, paired with a coffee boba. Mochinut is a win! hot cheetos corn dog: (9.5/10) coated with hot cheetos, but filled with cheese with every bite. not too spicy, full of flavor cereal crunch corn dog: (9/10) a sweet crunchy corn dog, with the inside filled with cheese and sausage. i loved with garlic mayo sauce ramen corn dog (9/10) lots of crunch, like the cereal crunch corn dog, but a more filling sensation after finishing it. all sauces go good w this for me coffee boba: (8/10) a mix of sweet, yet powerful coffee aftertaste. the boba balls were nice, and i felt the caffeine after mango tea: (8.5/10) sweet, refreshing tea, but no boba for me. ice proportion was great, and flavor was present
Second visit here on a whim before meeting up with a friend. There were folks waiting for their orders and one person in front of me. The display case was pretty empty for noon time. I chose the three pack (9.50!) with matcha, taro and strawberry churro but would have preferred other flavors that were not available. So, I paid for the order and waited while boba drinks came out, the fried hot dogs came out and more boba drinks came out. The cashier disappeared briefly and came back to fill a couple of orders. I asked for my box of doughnuts and he said I had to wait for that taro doughnut even though there were two in the case. He said they were being used to fill an order ahead of me. Well, that is really frustrating so I changed the flavor. Not happy with this system. These folks really need to be better at staying ahead of the inventory and not keeping people waiting. Gonna be awhile before I come back. This is expensive with added not good service make it a pass for me for now.

We tend to just get a bunch of flavors and snip them, every two balls so we can mix and match the flavors we want to try. They sell korean corn dogs and boba drinks too but I was too full from dinner to try any! Next time!
If you are foodie and looking for delicious and aesthetically pleasing snacks this place is a must!! These mochi donuts are some of the best I have had. I recommend the fruity pebble donut. Also had to get the flamin hot Cheeto cheese on a stick. They offer multiple dipping sauces for your food too. And last but not least I got the UBE milk tea with boba and of course... delicious.

I got a sweet potato, original corn dog. They have a variety of yummy sauces to go with them. To drink, I got a mango & pineapple smoothie. I'll have to bring my kids by I think they would love it. The lady in front of me got donuts and they looked very good. Nice service and nice spots to sit down inside. Next door you can wait and do your laundry and there's also a FedEx store. read more
My first time here and it was interesting. Had the hot dog original #22 and was surprised it was slightly sweet. I wouldn't call it a corn dog but I'm guessing it's was some type of sweet rice batter? Good crunch and you get the savory sweet saltiness. Good size dog. Many favors to choose from but had to have the original since it was my first go around. Not a fan of mochi donuts, but I'll try another flavored dog. clean! they have cute lil kiosk to order from if you don't feel like communicating, which is great! Service was swift as my daughter and I ordered two drinks and two snacks and it was ready in less than 8minutes. love the mochi donuts here--so light and airy. And to me they taste less sugary than other places. will be back to grab more snacks. read more

Only had like 7 donuts left in the display case (about 4 flavors). The drinks' sweetness aren't customizable and they can't really tell you how sweet the drink is. The mochinuts themselves are pretty greasy and didn't taste fresh. Would not come back. read more
My partner's mom bought some of these while she was in Concord for us to eat. The flavors we tried included s'mores, mango, melona, and matcha. I liked the s'mores best since I enjoy chocolate and I thought the graham cracker dusting and marshmallows were a fun touch for the texture. The mango was good, but I would've liked it even better if it had even more real mango pieces on it. I also liked the melona, but I honestly wasn't sure what fruit it was supposed to eat since it reminded me vaguely of kiwi. The matcha was okay, I wish the matcha flavor was a lot stronger. Overall, I think their mochi donuts are too heavy on the "donut" part of the food since I'm not a big fan of the almost rubbery texture of the donut part and I would rather it taste more like mochi. I also feel personally you can never get too much of the specific flavor of each donut. But otherwise, they were pretty good. read more
Mochinut has some of the tastiest mochi donuts I've ever had, this time around I tried out their Korean corn dogs and ahh can't stop thinking about it. There is a large menu with the different options for your corn dog with fillings such as mozzarella only, hot dog only, or half and half; and the outer layer of the corn dog such as hot Cheetos, Takis, ramen, and more. The corn dogs come out hot and fresh, which make for a great cheese pull. The hot Cheetos half and half was so delicious (highly recommend). The ambiance of the shop is cute too. Always loved Mochinut I was super happy when i found out they opened this one in Concord! If you haven't been to Mochinut before they usually sell corn dogs, mochi donuts and boba drinks. When you walk in you'll notice lots of cute mochi donut decor displays on the walls. The place is sort of small so at most a group of 4-5 could seat comfortably. The service is really good. They are fast to pack and bring out orders. You can order through the cashier or through the tablet. They are super sweet from welcoming you in to saying goodbye! The mochi donuts are definitely super tasty. They are more on the sweet side but the best part is that they have a really nice soft stretchy texture when you eat it and tear it apart. They aren't overly sweet either, they frost the tops of donuts and sometimes add toppings but it isn't too over the top. The donuts look super cute without having too much frosting or toppings. Overall, this place is definitely a great place to drop by for snacks or just to order for take out! There aren't many mochi donut places in the east bay but this definitely is one of the BEST! read more
We visited on Friday mid morning so only one or two people were there. We got the ube , green matcha and Chocolate Funnel Cake. The mochinut were not overly sweet and the flavor was similar to French crullers but had a nice chewy texture. They were a nice change from donuts. The boba drinks were sweet. The hot dogs were tasty. Husband said though the potato hot dog was delicious, he'd order the original, which I loved. They had various sauces including ketchup and mustard. read more
First time coming here last week and first off, friendly service. Walk in and they say hi and walk out they say bye. They package the donut, corn dogs, and drinks is so beautiful..they pay attention to detail. Ok...to the food...I got 3 mochi donuts, 1 Korean corn dog, and a brown sugar boba drink. All were very delicious. It was my first time trying a Korean corn dog and it was light and yummy. The store was very clean and display case very organized. Really sad that I found what seems to be a staple in my donut. I thought it might be edible glitter or something to give it benefit of the doubt. But then I pulled out this piece of metal and it was baked into this part of my caramel churro mochinut :( I love mochinut and eat here regularly. Solid mochi donut as a post dinner dessert! Came here after having dinner and running some errands. It's a little out of the way because it's across from the plaza with all of the Asian restaurants but there's lots of parking around them. There is seating inside and they have a great setup to get all of your IG worthy mochinut photos. They didn't have a ton of choices when I went (around 7:40pm on a Wednesday) but I ended up getting the matcha flavor and it was delicious! read more
Yesss queennnsss!! The Dendinger's are are at mochinut!!! We ordered the 6 count of mochi donuts and two corn dogs I got the half and half and kiddo got the blue takis mozzarella. Let's dive in from start the place is really cute not dirty at all. Friendly staff everyone greets you as you walk in. The decorations they have are too cute. Anyways the food omg I've been looking for these type of corn dogs all over but could never find them I finally got my mouth on one of them and it was amazing. Talk about fresh quality food you pay for what you get definitely worth trying over and over. I proceeded to buy more before they closed I had to send the wife over today again for a all cheese potato corn dog. Will be coming back again definitely!! read more
Located in a small shopping center near "High Tech Nails & Wax" and "EZ Eye Brow" there is plenty of parking. Walking in, you can self order on an iPad or order at the register. The staff are friendly and helpful. The selection is so delicious you won't have trouble finding something yummy. Lots of cute spots inside the store to take pictures. The prices are Dec Dr for such a special treat. The donuts are very tasty. If you don't like donuts they have boba, macaron ice cream, and rice hot dogs. Great music too! read more
My mom heard about this place and wanted to go so bad. After going to Costco we went straight to Mochinut. Mochinut is kind of tucked off but super great location because it by a lot of other restaurants. When we walked inside the place was super cute and the staff was very welcoming. We ordered a dozen donuts: Two pumpkin, Raspberry Funnel Cake, Churro, Choco, Oreo, Black Sesame, Strawberry, two Horchata, two coffee. If you have ever been to Japan there is a place called Mister Donuts and these donuts taste just like those. They are so soft and delicious. My mom and I got a drink as well. She got the strawberry milk tea and I got the Mango Green Tea. We both didn't get boba in our drinks. Both drinks were amazing. My mom and I went back a couple days later and brought my sister. We got another dozen donuts and some drinks as well. We got the same donuts as before maybe a couple were different but I can't remember. I got the passion fruit green tea but I personally like the mango green tea better. My sister and mom did not agree lol they didn't like the mango one. My mom got the jasmine milk tea with boba and it was sooo good. The boba they have is delicious. My sister got horchata milk tea which was good also. I love milk tea but it makes me so full so quickly. I will definitely be going back to this place whenever I'm out in concord. Such a great find by my mom. read more

I went for their soft opening and there was a decent line waiting for their corn dogs! I got 3 flavors of the mochi donut (matcha, mango, churro) and it came with one free (raspberry funnel cake). The base for all the donuts are basically the same and it just varies if the toppings are glazed or powder on top. The texture of the donut itself is good - chewy and soft. They also lasted pretty well in the fridge until the next day. Overall a good snack! I got the milk tea with boba too. They can't do any customizations on it like half sweet or less ice, which I didn't like probably meaning they're pre-made in the morning. The packaging is super cute; it comes in a clear bottle you have to pop open like a soda can. The boba is on the really soft side and quite chewy, which isn't my personal favorite. I haven't tried the Korean corn dogs yet but the sign says it could take up to 15mins so expect a wait! Overall 5 stars for the mochi donut, 3 for the boba! read more
This was pretty okay. Location is in a relatively tight, mostly not really that visible from the main road parking lot. I don't think that really matters though considering the line is long anyway. My favorite thing I put in my mouth here was the guava mochi donut. It was sweet and tasted... like guava, I guess. The other thing I ordered was brown sugar milk tea. It was... not great. It tasted mostly like milk and barely had any sweetness to it, which is impressive considering I generally find this stuff to be TOO sweet - enough to put me in a diabetic coma. But no, it was quite bland. I also told the cashier I didn't want boba in my drink and whoever made it put a bunch of boba in it anyway. So service is just mediocre, hindered by poor hearing or not paying attention. Overall, okay experience. Donut was very good, drink was below average. I want to try a Korean corn dog next time. They looked better than the ones they sell at Sun Valley Mall. read more

Mochinut is a very unique type of doughnut made of mochi in the city of Concord. This is my second time here. The only downfall is that you cannot buy individual doughnuts, you have to purchase in 3, 6, or a dozen. It's about $3 dollars each, on the pricey side, however, this place is comparable to the high end cupcakes. The doughnut itself is very light and not too sweet. They have a variety of flavors from, churro, pistachio, cookies and cream, ube (seasonal), pumpkin, etc. The ambiance is cute and small, but fits the decor. They also serve boba drinks, a great compliment with your doughnuts. So if your looking for a light but tasty dessert then this is the place. Enjoy! read more

I came back to try new flavors and to give this place a second chance. Todays visit was a much better experience than my first time. It was much cleaner and the young lady that helped me was a lot friendlier. Their donuts are really good and stayed soft the next day. read more

It is exciting to have Mochinut close to home!!! It is located in the same plaza as FedEx and Brothers' Chicken. There is always parking around. The employees are very friendly. I've been here twice. The first time they were having problems with the donuts' machine, and we only got boba. My husband and I ordered the matcha and regular milk tea. The boba was ok, to be honest. It tastes very genetic. I don't think I will order boba here for a while. I've tried the boba at the Livermore location, and it tastes different there. A lot more creamy and flavorful. Here you can taste the powder. It reminded me of Quickly and Boba Loca. I hope they get better. What is fantastic here is the Mochi Donuts!! Because of the donuts, they get five stars from me. I tried the Strawberry (our favorite one), Matcha, Ube, Churro with Caramel, Funnel Cake and regular Churro. They were all amazing! Fluffy, chewy, light and flavorful! Such a cute place, i've never had any issues here. I come here once in a while when i'm craving the super cheesy potato hot dogs + the donuts are sooo good and cute. There is always someone available for help at the counter and you can also order on screen too. It's the only mochinut nearest to me so i'm glad it's so close by to fulfill my cravings. Is a bit of a wait but the food always comes out super fresh and hot. read more
I tried Mochinut on Grand Opening Day, and overall it was awesome! Ordering is straightforward and efficient; simply place your order on the tablet and pay. Only a handful of the donut flavors I wanted to try were available, but everything was incredibly fresh (they were still unloading the trays into the display case). My order was prepared quickly (~5 min.), and the staff was very friendly and offered to grab me donuts that were fresh from the kitchen. The donuts are amazing. Neither too heavy nor too sweet, the donuts struck the perfect balance of chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The matcha flavor was my favorite; while the donut itself is almost savory, the matcha glaze provided light yet decadent sweetness. The matcha boba was too sweet for my taste, and there isn't any flexibility to adjust the sweetness level or milk options. I will definitely be back for the donuts, though! read more
