Be mindful: the $1.99/bagel and $11.99/half dozen is only for bagels without cheese. With cheese each bagel will cost 50cents more: this adds up. It would be good if this was written somewhere on the menu. Also addition atm or credit card, as a customer you pay 50centa more for bank fee: this was written at the checkout counter. The bagels are fresh and tasty. The roll/sandwiches are freshly made and tasted really good. I got the Mexicano in a Roll and it was pure deliciousness. Will try the Vietnamese coffee next time. Parking can be difficult if close by. If you park a little further away in the same parking lot: there are more spots. Nice clean store with a few tables to be sat at. Most people buy take outs. Dropped in for three "to go" bagels and while the wait was surprising on a Weds at 930a, it was worth it. Jalapeno Cheddar bagel, toasted, no cream cheese was nice and crispy, not burnt, good flavoring, decent amount of jalapeños. Asiago cheese toasted, no cream cheese also had a solid amount of cheese and toasted perfectly. Blueberry bagel toasted with chocolate chip cream cheese was thoroughly enjoyed by the "kid" in the group (ok, he's 28!). I love coming here to get bagels with my fiancé on the weekends. I went here with my friend today after our Pilates class and that was the longest line I have been in to order. I ordered the sunrise eggwich with sausage on an everything bagel. It was less than $10. Their sunrise eggwich is my favorite. I have gotten the nova lox before but it was not my favorite lox bagel that I've gotten. I love that the nova lox always comes with a side of a pickle. The food is just way too good here. I really wish we had this store in Vallejo California. They always make a bagel called asiago spinach and cheese. I always get the locks spread on it because sometimes when you get the locks bagel the locks will slip out as you're biting it. The service is always so quick and it's still the same lady that has been there since I've been going to beauty school. The ambiance is quick and casual but not noisy with the sunshine coming through the window. Definitely try their smoothies as well you just feel really healthy eating there. read more

The bagels are good! I've been very satisfied with them. The vibe of the place is simple and could get real busy sometimes. The customer service is hit or miss but my real issue is that they charge extra what feels like everything. I ordered a lox bagel with no capers and asked for extra red onions instead. They charged me extra for onions but didn't take off for the capers lol. I ordered a breakfast bagel and asked for light tomato. They charged me extra for that. Listen get your coin, but to nickel and dime for a slice of tomato and few extra onions don't sit right with me. Have I gone back since then? Well, yes lol. I tried the Spinach Asiago bagel the first time I ever came here because it was practically beckoning to me from behind that glass window, all cheesy and spinach-y and delicious-like, and I've been hooked ever since. I tried the Garlic Parmesan bagel once too, but it just didn't measure up. I promptly returned to my former/current/forever flame. Their fruit can be kinda hit-or-miss so I'll kept it real and tell you to find yours elsewhere unless you're comfortable rolling the dice (and paying a few coins to do so.) The staff here are super sweet. Every single person is courteous and kind and helpful when I get the chance to speak with them. Plus, Gaby has my heart! And not just because we have similar names... Mostly. The dining space is pretty minimal, with just a few tables and chairs tucked into an L-shape along the side wall. I'd say it's more of a grab-and-go grubbery, and I ain't mad at it. I've only ever gone in the morning and I can assure you that place is incredibly poppin' in the early hours, so come prepared to wait a few minutes for your food. Haven't been here in forever and it's just as delicious as I remember. Everywhere I have lived, I have tried to find a place with bagels made this perfect. It has that perfect crisp and bread inside that's cooked and baked to perfection. The club sandwich is my go to abut I can't recommend this place enough. They set the bar so high now I can't find anything like it near where I live. It's the perfect mom and pop shop and the service is always quick with a smile. So glad I tried this bagel shop! I always pass by this when I get groceries at Ranch 99 and one day my husband and I decided to try it! It's tucked away not on the main strip but just off to the side (next to Ranch 99) so it can be kind of hard to spot but it's such a cute little hidden gem with YUMMMMY bagels and smears! The inside is small but gave off such a traditional mom and pop bagel vibe with all the bagels on display as well as some other baked goodies. I got a jalapeño cheese bagel with some garlic smear and it was perfection! My husband got some sort of sausage ,egg and cheese bagel sandwich and it was super filling! My total was around $12, with an additional $0.50 fee for using a card, so bring cash if you want to avoid that. The plain bagel was loaded with cream cheese--they did not skimp at all. The bacon and egg bagel was also filling, and everything tasted fresh. Service was quick despite the place being busy. I was at Park 'n Shop for another errand and decided to give Sunrise Bagels a try. It had been many years since my last visit so was unsure what the bagels were like. The store is not large and seemed a bit dark. Customer service was prompt and efficient. Got a bag of six. Glad I didn't buy more as both DH and I felt the bagels were a little doughy and should have been baked a bit longer. I got a mix of raisin, sesame, and poppyseed bagels. The raisin bagel didn't have many raisins. However, both the sesame and poppyseed bagels were overflowing with the seeds. I consider sesame and poppyseed to be "classic" bagels. Panera, my usual "go-to" bakery for bagels never had poppyseed and with its recent menu update no longer has sesame bagels. A shame ... and one reason to come to Sunrise. But my quest for a better than decent bagel in Concord continues! read more

This place is so consistently delicious each and every time! They have several options for bagels and cream cheese which I love. And overall a lot of options to choose from. I always get a lox bagel sandwich which comes with your choice of cream cheese, salmon, capers, onion and tomato. I didn't like salmon before but now that I do im obsessed! Sunrise bagel is tucked in the park and shop plaza and it's a delicious little gem! I had the Nova lox on a jalapeño bagel and it was so tasty! 9/10 the jalapeño bread wasn't spicy and tasted just right mix. Nova lox came with a pickle on the side which also added a nice touch. We also had a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and the cream cheese was so dreamy and tasty. Expect a line but overall it goes by fast. read more

Came here for a breakfast sandwich prior to watching a movie near by. This place is cool. They have a ton of bagels to choose from, plus other danishes. This was my first time seeing a strawberry bagel, very interesting. I opted for a egg & tomato w/ cheese breakfast sandwich on their spinach bagel. The eggs are liquid, like soup, microwaved into form. No salt or pepper. Needless to say my breakfast sandwich lacked flavor. The best part was the bagel. I assume their regular bagel sandwiches taste better than their breakfast ones. I'd come back here for the bagels and pastries, and maybe a smoothie. But not for a breakfast sandwich. Just picked up a dozen bagels with assorted cream cheeses & two lox bagels on an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese. $67.00 This was my first time and tried it based on Yelp reviews, I don't live in the area. Two stars off because, the two bagels were plain not onion, I watched her make it and saw she put regular cream cheese not scallion, so I said "that's with scallion right?" Her coworker says yes and I see her say "oh no" which I knew it was plain cream cheese I can clearly see no green onion lol. BUT I wasn't expecting the bagels to be thrown out and replaced without telling me for plain bagels. I had to go pick out the cream cheese and of course I trust they know what they are doing. Overall lox bagel was OK, the little coffee shop nearest me is better but I thought I'd give this place a shot since they make their own bagels and maybe it will be better with the assorted bagels I got with the assorted cream cheese and lox was not the go getter here. So I recently started going back to this bagel store after being away for three years and I found that it's now owned by somebody else. What a disappointment. The bagel guy looks like he's irritated and the two grouchy women you have to literally ask them to ring you up and they act like you're asking them to you know commit murder Then to top it off. I was getting my coffee this morning and some old man thought it was socially acceptable to blow his freaking nose right over all the coffee area and I proceeded to have to cuss his silly little ass out. We come here once a month to buy around a dozen bagels to freeze for the house - and the frozen bagels are typically better than any other bagel place.
