    29. Sunrise Eggwich with sausage on everything bagel
    Samantha S.

I love coming here to get bagels with my fiancé on the weekends. I went here with my friend today after our Pilates class and that was the longest line I have been in to order. I ordered the sunrise eggwich with sausage on an everything bagel. It was less than $10. Their sunrise eggwich is my favorite. I have gotten the nova lox before but it was not my favorite lox bagel that I've gotten. I love that the nova lox always comes with a side of a pickle. I would recommend this bagel spot to others.

The food is just way too good here. I really wish we had this store in Vallejo California. They always make a bagel called asiago spinach and cheese. I always get the locks spread on it because sometimes when you get the locks bagel the locks will slip out as you're biting it. The service is always so quick and it's still the same lady that has been there since I've been going to beauty school. The ambiance is quick and casual but not noisy with the sunshine coming through the window. Definitely try their smoothies as well you just feel really healthy eating there.

Eggwich with Jack cheese on a Spinach Asiago bagel, please! This spot has a delicious bagel selection, but once I find something I like, I tend to stick with it. I tried the Spinach Asiago bagel the first time I ever came here because it was practically beckoning to me from behind that glass window, all cheesy and spinach-y and delicious-like, and I've been hooked ever since. I tried the Garlic Parmesan bagel once too, but it just didn't measure up. I promptly returned to my former/current/forever flame. Their fruit can be kinda hit-or-miss so I'll kept it real and tell you to find yours elsewhere unless you're comfortable rolling the dice (and paying a few coins to do so.) The staff here are super sweet. Every single person is courteous and kind and helpful when I get the chance to speak with them. Plus, Gaby has my heart! And not just because we have similar names... Mostly. The dining space is pretty minimal, with just a few tables and chairs tucked into an L-shape along the side wall. I'd say it's more of a grab-and-go grubbery, and I ain't mad at it. I've only ever gone in the morning and I can assure you that place is incredibly poppin' in the early hours, so come prepared to wait a few minutes for your food. But again, still more than worth it!

Small cafe with lots of bagels options. I tried the iVegan on a Bialy, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sprouts, onion, and humus. Delicious, the bagel was well balanced. Small old school style cafe with friendly and accommodating staff. Pros: -vegan options -house made bagels + spreads -parking lot -chill, old school style cafe -staff is friendly Cons: -people in the area can be a little sketchy Cuatro viente uno del dos mil viente cinco

Very busy but efficient, so many options of bagels, look at this lox bagel-- are you kidding me?! Definitely one of the best I've ever ate. & the Thai tea was sweet, the ideal bagel spot when you're craving one. Old school, cute hole in the wall bakery.

Haven't been here in forever and it's just as delicious as I remember. Everywhere I have lived, I have tried to find a place with bagels made this perfect. It has that perfect crisp and bread inside that's cooked and baked to perfection. The club sandwich is my go to abut I can't recommend this place enough. They set the bar so high now I can't find anything like it near where I live. It's the perfect mom and pop shop and the service is always quick with a smile. I drive out of my way anytime I get a chance just to eat here. If you're close, it should be on your list. Everything they have is quality ingredients and flavorful.

So glad I tried this bagel shop! I always pass by this when I get groceries at Ranch 99 and one day my husband and I decided to try it! It's tucked away not on the main strip but just off to the side (next to Ranch 99) so it can be kind of hard to spot but it's such a cute little hidden gem with YUMMMMY bagels and smears! The inside is small but gave off such a traditional mom and pop bagel vibe with all the bagels on display as well as some other baked goodies. I got a jalapeño cheese bagel with some garlic smear and it was perfection! My husband got some sort of sausage ,egg and cheese bagel sandwich and it was super filling! This is definitely our new go to bagel shop and you can grab it to go when you run errands!

    Chel S.

Pretty solid bagel spot. I purchased two bagels: a bacon and egg on a cheddar jalapeño bagel, and a plain bagel with cream cheese. My total was around $12, with an additional $0.50 fee for using a card, so bring cash if you want to avoid that. The plain bagel was loaded with cream cheese--they did not skimp at all. The bacon and egg bagel was also filling, and everything tasted fresh. Service was quick despite the place being busy. There are a few tables available and a good variety of juices, coffee, and other drinks. However, the air inside feels thick because of the constant baking and the crowd in this small space.

We decide to sit at the bar area to sit on the stools instead of taking up a table. We ordered the crispy chicken eggs Benedict and choco banana pancakes. Let me tell you, the portions are large.. so make sure you bring an appetite. We ended up sharing our plates and I think we both agreed that we loved the crispy chicken eggs Benedict most- but they were both really delicious. The chicken was crispy. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The crispy potatoes, even though at first I was a little disappointed there was no hashbrowns, I am so glad! Those potatoes are amazing! The pancakes were pretty delicious as well, but I think the toppings and the caramelized banana bananas on the side were the best part. We also tried two different drinks. A Matcha latte as well as a 'butterfly pea latte'- which I believe was a lavender latte maybe? They were both very beautiful and delicious. The only downside to our experience here was that because it was pretty busy, our service was not as fast as we would like. So we had to ask for a couple of things, after getting the server's attention. Other than that, we had an amazing experience. We will be back to try more things on the menu soon!

Our orders were taken in a timely manner. The waitress was nice and helpful. We waited about 15 to 20 mins for our food. We were told that there were issues with the kitchen staff, new staff being trained, etc. Honestly, she stated it was a bad day for them, so we should have been told that prior to ordering so we could have decided to go somewhere else. When the food came, my bacon was burnt (I asked for crispy, not burnt), and my French fries were cold. How does food that takes so long to find out come out cold and wrong? My wife's biscuit was together in the top and broken up on the bottom AND served on a dirty plate. We sent all the above back. He country potatoes had no seasoning on them, and the omelet looked on cooked on the egg portion. The food and cheese that was supposed to be cooked in the inside because it is an omelet was not put together as an omelet. It was like the egg just served as a blanket. She did not eat the majority of her food. This does not happen often. The biscuit was good the 2nd time. My bacon came back the same way, I ate around the burnt areas. The bacon was salty. The manager or owner (I'm unsure of who he was. He did not introduce himself) walked around asking how everything was. I was very honest. He took off 20% from the bill. We will not be going back.

If you blink, you might miss it. Service is still 10/10! This time around, I ordered a hot matcha latte, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much (let's be real, some places can mess up matcha). But surprise, surprise -- it actually tasted like real matcha! It was delicious! For my meal, I tried the cowboy scramble, which I swear was everything but the kitchen sink tossed in a pan. It was hearty, satisfying, and totally hit the spot. The only hiccup? The melted butter they used on the toast had a weird aftertaste. I can't quite explain it -- like if butter went to a weird party and came back a little off. But hey, it didn't ruin the whole meal, just a little side note. All in all, I'm into the new look, and I'll definitely be back for that legit matcha latte and hefty scramble!

This spot came up, and although my wife and I have driven past it many times, we've never stopped in. Today, I decided to finally give it a try. After looking through the Google photos, I changed my mind and ordered a breakfast plate instead of a sandwich. Parking was a little challenging. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and had to circle the block a few times before finding a spot directly in front of the diner. When I walked in, I wasn't sure whether I should seat myself or wait to be seated. All of the waitresses appeared busy, so I stood near the entrance. Once she was available, Marianna greeted me. Initially, I wasn't a fan of being asked whether I was picking up food rather than whether I was dining in or taking out, but I quickly realized they may be accustomed to regular customers who already know the process. Since it was my first visit, I explained that I wasn't sure if I should seat myself. Personally, I think a sign near the entrance would be helpful for first-time guests. Since I was dining alone, I chose a seat at the counter and ordered the Sugar Plum Special with cheese grits and sourdough toast. While waiting for my food, I noticed something that concerned me. The staff did not appear to be wearing gloves, and I observed food being handled after touching various surfaces, including condiments, plates, glasses, and trash areas. While I understand that food service relies heavily on proper handwashing practices, I personally felt uncomfortable watching bread being handled directly by hand. I requested that my toast be handled with a utensil instead, and my request was accommodated without issue. When my food arrived, my eggs were cooked exactly as requested--scrambled hard--and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The bacon was a little saltier than I personally prefer, but that's more about my taste than the preparation. Overall, both items were flavorful. Now, let's talk about the grits. I come from a strong Southern background, and we take our grits seriously. The presentation was fantastic. The butter melting on top and the cheese looked absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, the texture wasn't there on the first serving. The grits were noticeably gritty and undercooked. After a couple of bites, I sent them back and requested they be cooked a bit longer. One of the waitresses explained that customers typically need to request the grits "well done." That was surprising to me because I've always believed grits should naturally be cooked until smooth and creamy. In my opinion, that's how they're meant to be served. Thankfully, the second batch was much better. While they still could have been stirred a bit more, the texture improved significantly and was much closer to what I expected. I also want to recognize Marianna for her excellent service. She was accommodating, attentive, and handled my concerns professionally throughout the meal. Overall, I would return. The restaurant has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and an old-school diner feel that is becoming harder to find these days. It reminded me of the kind of place you'd visit after church on a Sunday morning or somewhere you'd go with your grandparents for a comforting home-cooked meal. While there were a few areas that could be improved, the welcoming environment and friendly service left a positive impression on me.

Cozy diner serving generous portions!…read more I took my mom here for lunch on a Sunday. Most of the tables were occupied but we were able to get a seat at a table near the bar. We were given menus right after being seated and the waitress came back a few minutes later. I'd say service was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. This is what we ordered: * Organic beet salad with ranch dressing, $13 - delicious and refreshing salad with romaine, sliced beets, avocado chunks, grape tomatoes, nuts, sliced red onions, and feta cheese. I chose ranch and thought it paired well with the salad. * Fish and chips, $16.95 - 5 crispy battered cod (tasted like cod to me) pieces with plenty of French fries and a side of tartar sauce and lemon wedges. My mom liked how the batter was thin and crispy. The fish pieces were a little smaller than my hands. * Very berry waffle, $15.95 - soft waffle with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries dusted with powdered sugar and came with syrup on the side. The berries were sweet and the waffle was very tasty with syrup on top. * Sweet potato fries, $5.95 - crispy outside and soft inside. I love sweet potato fries and theirs were delicious. I ate it with ketchup, ranch, hot sauce, and tartar sauce. The portions were pretty big so my mom and I split everything. We ended up taking some fries home. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I found a hair in one of the containers of ranch that came with the salad, I thought the fries tasted a bit stale and dry when they were cold, and I wish the waffle came with butter and wish it was a little more crispy. Overall, I did enjoy my lunch here and my mom and I would come back! I'd try one of the omelettes next time.
