Came for bagels and left happy. I love the toasty ness of the bagels and how delicious they are. Long line

sad excuse for an egg breakfast sandwich. bagel itself was barely toasted and almost tasted stale. There was the tiniest amount of cream cheese and well, the photos speak for themselves. I understand it can get busy and the employees are rushing, but come on.

There is quite an array of bagels to be had here, as well as breakfast sandwiches on bagels and deli sandwiches on challah, potato rolls, and of course bagels. Just the names are enough to get one drooling: chorizo avocado sunrise and Texas brisket for example. I had a six cheese bagel and vanilla hazelnut coffee. The bagel was perfect, a little cheesy crunch on the outside but soft and chewy inside. My coffee with a touch of cream was rich and delicious. They also have various coffee and tea drinks and a few items for those with a sweet tooth. The outside seating was just what I wanted so I had a nice little breakfast while people watching.

I did submit a review with customer care at the Noah's website and they never responded. So that's par for the course.

Quick fact before I do my review: Before officially being in a relationship, The Hideout Kitchen is…read morewhere we had our very first date. And it was at the former location. So what better place to dine in to celebrate out 2nd Year Wedding Anniversary at The Hideout Kitchen :) We went for dinner. Our server was KEVIN. Simply...HE IS JUST AWESOME. He knows the menu, he knows the history, and has amazing stories to share with everyone. Great guy. A lot of people there that night seemed to be celebrating something. The noise was a bit loud that I felt I had to almost yell to have a conversation with my husband. But the vibe was great. I enjoyed looking around at the decor. We ordered: - TRUFFLE FRIES for appetizers - I loved everything about it. haha. Tastey! - linguine & clams - I ordered this. It was good. However, I felt it was way oily. And after every bite I took, I had to wipe my mouth. And I accidentally spilled oil on my shirt. - PASTA ALLA CARBONE with steak - My husband enjoyed it and started to get full towards clearing out his bowl haha. - SCALLOPED POTATOES - I ordered a side of this. Definitely was not expecting to look the way it did, but I thought the presentation was beautiful. It was good; however, I was not a fan at how crunchy and hard the top first layer was. In a few areas, it was almost burnt. But I thought it was pretty good without the need for a type of sauce on the side. - For drinks, I had to Summer sangria and my husband had the Rumble in the Jungle. We enjoyed it. Definitely hit the spot. No complaints at all about these drinks. - And Kevin surprised us with a dessert to celebrate : Cranberry Bread Pudding. This was delicious. Very flavorful. I am not really into Cranberry, but this is definitely an exception. Loved the fruits on the side as well. The Hideout Kitchen will always have a place in our hearts. We will definitely come back. We still need to try this place out for Brunch. We need to try their UBE pancakes! hehehe. And thanks Kevin for being amazing that night!

Perhaps it was just me, but the menu didn't offer anything particularly exciting. We ordered the pork belly panini ($22) and a full wedge salad ($19). The pork belly had a crust that was nearly impossible to bite through, so I had to cut it off with a knife, leaving a thin layer of fat. The flavor was underwhelming as well. The blue cheese wedge salad had an unusual flavor that neither my wife nor I enjoyed, and we left most of it. Honestly, even Outback does a better job with their wedge salad. The Parmesan fries were the one standout. The beer selection was quite limited, although they did have a Dustbowl Taco Truck, which is a nice option. A few more beer choices would have been appreciated. On a positive note, Kary provided good service, and we appreciated her attentiveness. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, and with so many great restaurants in town, I'm not sure we'd return. I do miss the old Cooperage that used to be here; we always enjoyed it much more.

The kid had the Kentucky Bourbon Hot Chicken Sandwich, and everything came out hot and fresh. Tarah recommended the bacon tartar sauce for dipping our fries, and that was a delicious addition. There was a small wait, but the food was well worth it. Broderick delivered again--and Tarah remains part of what makes it a pleasure to return.

Everything was great except the chicken needed a bit more seasoning and was really tough on the thinner ends . It could have used more even pounding before cooking. The waffle, though, was delicious. Overall, we had a great time and would come back.

My family and I ended up here randomly today (Saturday) after doing a yelp search for lunch. We arrived and it was BUSYYYY, but the wait time was said to be 11-20 minutes. So we decided to wait. Wait time ended up being OVER 30 minutes, but IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. We almost decided to just walk right over to Kinders, after waiting 30 minutes. But we thought "wth, we've waited this long, let's just wait a bit longer". Finally after almost 40 minutes, we were seated inside. There is no patio seating here and the venue is really small. I wouldn't recommend for groups over 4-5 at the pleasant hill location unless you call to make a reservation in advanced. Though I'm not sure if they take reservations. Anyway, we ordered the following. Kids pancake and fruit. Kids fried chicken & fries + a side of extra crispy bacon. Both kids meals came with an apple juice. Crab Benedict. Chicken and wafffles. Ube pancakes Hot chocolate Thai Iced Tea & an alcohol beverage. The something sour. Can't remember the name but had grapefruit, soju, tajin rim. Damn near EVERYTHING was delicious!! We loved it alllll. Minus the hot chocolate. My kids did not like it, but it wasn't bad. Just not a favorite. On top of the food being yummy! It's all so decently priced. For everything mentioned above, our bill came out to $150. Which to me, in today's world, for 4 people, all of that?! Is not bad at all. I spend more on a less when grocery shopping for two days worth of groceries. We WILL be visiting again!

Every single time we have been to Havana's it has been an excellent experience, excellent food & with amazing cocktails! Joe, our waiter, was amazing & eager to suggest new food dishes. And made certain that every need we had was taken care of. On this night, we tried a new beef dish that is prepared like Carnitas and their wings, washed down with Mojitos (classic our favorite) which were perfection! This will not be the last time we come to Havana's for a quick bite & drinks. We love this place and are never disappointed, we highly recommended to all of our friends constantly as it has consistently great food, drinks, and service. Breakfast won. I met up with a friend here and I'll admit I was a little hesitant at first. I'm not a huge fan of overly sugary breakfasts, and for some reason I had it in my head that this was more of an Asian-fusion breakfast spot, which isn't really my thing. I was wrong. I ordered the Mexican scramble and it was pretty good. I will say it could have used some more seasonings and sabor especially for being a Mexican scramble. Mmm and how bout some cotija?? Huge portion, however and the hash browns were exactly how I like them; crispyyyy. Obviously I also ordered an espresso martini because... you know me. And my friend and I decided to share the Biscoff pancake. OMG. Listen. I woke up Sunday morning legitimately wondering if they would remember me if I came back two days in a row because I wanted that damn pancake again. It was THAT good. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even really like super sweet breakfast foods or Biscoff for that matter. Fluffy pancake, Biscoff drizzle, cookie crumbles, fruit, butter, syrup on the side... whewww. I'ma need another one this week. My only minor annoyance was the waitlist situation. I put our name down and was told about 10 minutes (they dont take reservations), so we walked around the shops next door. I gave them my phone number AND corrected/confirmed it twice, plus I received the initial text verifying I was on the waitlist. After about 15 minutes with no call or text, I finally walked back over to check. The hostess said, "Oh, we called you." Girl... where?! No missed call, no text, nothing. Thankfully I checked back in instead of continuing to browse. Once we were seated though, everything was great. Our server was hella funny and had us cracking up; especially when my friend ordered a scramble and then started asking how the eggs would be cooked and whether it even came with eggs. Sir was basically like... ma'am, you ordered a SCRAMBLE. LMAOOOO The whole vibe was on point. Music was perfect, decor was fun, everything was clean, and it actually felt like you were hanging out at a Breakfast Club. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised to find this vibe in Lafayette. The area needed a little unstuffing and The Breakfast Club understood the assignment. I'll definitely be back, mainly because that Biscoff pancake and I have unfinished business!
