I love this place. I've never eaten in but I have been countless times for Taco Tuesday where they have a great selection of tacos for $1. It comes with chips and salsa. Even the mild salsa is quite spicy which is an issue if you're delicate like me but it's still very delicious. They are very friendly behind the counter. They get your name when you place your order and call it out when your order is ready. Most people get their tacos to go so they wrap it in a bag so it can be easily carried out. There is seating and a restroom inside if you choose to stay in to eat. I usually get the shredded chicken but the chorizo one is good too. Bring cash to pay for your tacos and make sure to tip! read more

This place has great street tacos. Came here for taco Tuesday and the long line was nonstop. We had the chicken tacos, plain and simple just as we like them with onions and cilantro. Taco Tuesdays are where its at! Great tasting tacos at this price! I got carnitas, el pastor, chicken...all good. The other selections were chorizo, pork stomach, chicarrón, which I want to try next. A little bit of a wait, but that is to be expected with such a deal bringing the folks in. Customer service was great, they give you free chips and plenty of salsa without even requesting. I ordered a grilled chicken taco salad w the beans on the side. I was surprised when it came w black beans, but not disappointed. The salad was well constructed and the black beans were hot and delicious. Self serve chips and a variety of salsas and peppers. It's a small Mexican place, but has a great simple menu. They are flavorful and does the fix. I've visited several times and noticed there are some inconsistencies with the amount of meat put in the tacos. That can be a hit or miss but of all the times I've gone there, I was only disappointed once so not a big deal, probably a one off-situation. read more

It's rare to see a taqueria offer $1 tacos on Taco Tuesdays these days! Tacos come with onion and cilantro with complimentary lime, radish, and salsa. Free chips as well! We went to another restaurant first in our quest to have lunch out this past Sunday and that place was packed so we came here. We lucked out a table for 2 was available and we were able to pull up another chair to accommodate our party of 3. We rarely go out on a Sunday so we were surprised to see so many people eating out. The food was good. I'm still surprised to see everything around $15 dollars. It seems pricy to me, but I am guessing that's the average cost these days. We all ordered the carnitas super burrito as it comes with cheese and sour cream. I'm surprised it didn't come with guacamole. All super burritos that I have ordered in the past come with guacamole. The super burritos comes with rice, beans, meat, sour cream and cheese. The regular burritos don't come with cheese and sour cream. My dad ordered his with out beans and they prepared it like that. The burritos were really filling and enough to share. I shared one with my mom and my dad took half of his home. They give out complementy chips that you can bag yourself and they have a salas bar. Most of the salsas are spicy, from my perspetive. The only one not spicy was the pico. They have a bathroom for customers which is a perk. I ordered my food through Doordash. I got three items. Two pork tamales, one al pastor super taco, and a corn cup. Both tamales were hard like they had been sitting all day or from yesterday. The taco meat on the taco was also hard like it too had been sitting all day or from yesterday. Al pastor was kind of bland as well. I can't blame doordash for this because it was hot when I got it and the meat/tamales wouldn't dry out in the amount of time it took to order and be delivered like these products were. (If anything they would be soggy from the heat.) The corn was ok although their containers is smaller than it was before. So as a service worker to another check the quality of your food before it leaves your establishment! Would you let your family eat it? This place is normally good. This place is way overpriced for some of the most basic Mexican food I've had. The only advantage it has is being in Walnut Creek, where people who don't know authentic Mexican food might think this is the standard. The worst part? The salsa bar. During my visit, there were flies landing on the chips and salsa. Watching flies go from who-knows-where straight onto the food was enough to ruin my appetite. Food safety should never be an afterthought. Looking back, I should've known something was off when the place was practically empty despite the ridiculous prices. There are far better Mexican spots where your money goes further, the food actually has flavor, and you don't have to wonder if the salsa has been a landing pad for flies. The place wasn't too busy when we walked in at around 4:45pm. The interior was small but clean. There were 4-5 tables for dine-in customers. As soon as we walked up to the register, we were greeted by a friendly man who appeared to be the owner. Their $1 taco menu had a decent selection. George ended getting four and I got five (buche, al pastor, carnitas, grilled chicken, and chili verde). With two drinks, tax, and tip, it was a little over $21. A bag of chips and a quartet of salsa were included in each order. Overall, the tacos were decent. I especially liked the al pastor and chili verde. Both were moist and flavorful. The carnitas and buche were a bit dry but acceptable. For the price, I really couldn't complain too much. Honestly, their food is like 3 to 3.5 stars for me. We ordered the al pastor tacos and burritos, and everything came out quickly. The burritos were especially flavorful, and overall the food really hit the spot. Since we went late, the tables and floors were slightly dirty, which was understandable near closing time, but the tissue paper on the tables was a little off-putting. That said, I would definitely return for the food, and next time I'd probably go earlier. I really enjoyed the salsa bar. The spicy salsa had a nice kick, and while I wish the different salsas were labeled, it was still fun trying them all with the chips they provided. We picked up an order to go to have at heather farms park, 10 minutes away. We ordered a carne asada burrito and a few street tacos. This is not our normal Mexican take-out, and while the service was solid, the food had very little flavor. The guacamole felt watered down. The ingredients mix in the burrito were appropriate, and I would say the sizes of the burrito was average, But with each bite, I kept wondering why there was no real flavor. In my opinion Dulce's Antojitos is a smidge expensive for what it is, however they're open late at night, make the food quickly, and the quality of the ingredients fit the bill both times I ordered. Overall I felt the size was a good match for two people after adding in a second meat and although I wasn't a fan of the chips, I really enjoyed the bowl and would definitely order from them again. Yelp buddy Harvey K. decided to check out the $1 Taco Tuesday at Duice's Antojitos #2. It's located in the Safeway shopping center on Ygancio Blvd in Walnut Creek. The restaurant is tiny with just a counter and a couple of tables. We got there at 4:45 pm just before the rush. Most of the patrons were take out and all their food was served in to go containers. All of the Tacos were $1 except for the carne asada. We got a combination of all the meat cuts. The best was the carnitas. I thought the toppings could have had more individual variations, all of them were topped with the same cilantro and onions. The tacos come with a portion of chips and salsa which also could have had more variations. But for $1 still a great deal. They don't have the Mexican drinks or the shaved ice that's on the menu board. Service is fast as the line was out the door when we left. The air conditioning was non existent minus star. I ordered four al pastor tacos with crispy cheese, four carnitas tacos, and four chicharrón tacos. Chips and salsa were included. The tacos were great. My favorite of the bunch was the chicharrón because it was nice and crispy. There's a salsa bar with sliced limes, pico de gallo, and radishes. I especially liked the orange sauce--it paired really well with the tacos. The place is a bit small, but it's clean and well kept. I think texture-wise, this could've benefited from something crunchier as it was mostly soft or chewy... Even toasting the tortilla a bit more would've helped. The chicken was seasoned well but a bit dry for my liking. On the other hand, my bf had nothing but good things to say about his Nopal burrito! Well, I normally really like this place, but the other day I went for lunch, ordered a bean, cheese and rice burrito. I asked for black beans, guacamole and extra cheese. When i got home much to my disappointment I got refried beans, sour cream and rice THAT"S IT. While it isn't a huge expense the guac and extra cheese cost more $$ so when you don't get what you ordered it is a HUGE let down. I went back in there today and while ordering I mentioned what happened and the woman at the counter just looked at me like... anything else. This is the fourth time I have ordered from here and again they got my order wrong. This time instead of carne asada that I paid extra for, they put shredded chicken in my super burrito. That makes your order being correct about 50/50. I usually get it via DoorDash so their solution is to always "take my name and when I come there they will give me one free" or whatever. I lived in San Francisco for over a decade before moving to Walnut Creek last year, and let me tell you -- this place rivals the best taquerias in the Mission. Ordered catering for 30 for the 3rd time last week...cant say enough good things about this place. We love it. SAME DAY ORDER! They serve for 30 "hungry" people. The brc burritos were such a hit, we need to order extra next party. Tortillas are individually wrapped so they stay warm. (We have shafers but still). The salsas are soo good, its soo hard to choose (my fav is the habanero). They are just on point, food is good and i cant recommend them enough.
