This place honestly packs your plate and your stomach. Customer service is awesome and the food taste great. I got a 4 taco plate, steak with extra cilantro and onion. CHEFS KISS! I really came on here to say that this restaurant is very much into their community. The cashier not only provided food but also advocated for their customer to get their selves checked at the hospital. They also gave them advice and really helped out this man in their community. This place definitely deserves all the customers in the world, so that they can keep helping their community. It's very rare to see businesses giving back and I will honestly be back spending my money here. read more

Im typing this as I eat my burrito... how could I not have written a review for this place! I have loved Los Tacos De Pancho since childhood I've been coming here since I was little! This is by far one of the best if not the best Mexican food in the area, if you don't want FLAVOR don't come here because they don't play about seasoning their food and using lime in their guacamole, I swear they're the only restaurant located in concord that actually seasons their food and doesn't burn the chicken! Today I went and there was only one woman working and she had my food ready to go ASAP! The horchata is fire and if you don't like horchata you've definitely never had this one before because this horchata will change your mind! I've been coming here for a very long time. I haven't been here in a while. The food is still really good! Unfortunately, the price is definitely gone up and the portion sizes have definitely gotten smaller. Yet, they are still use fresh ingredients. I got nachos with grilled chicken. My family has been coming her for 10years. I have tried other taco shops... but Pancho is the best. They have won award and the one thing I love the most is the Mild salsa (I buy 32oz to go) and the Al pastor is next level. Los tacos de Pancho is my new favorite taquería when in Concord. They are located in a shopping plaza next door to CVS and within walking distance of Concord Bart station. There is a classics and customs cars meet-up that takes place in the lot on Saturdays after 6:00 p.m. The staff are accommodating and friendly. They get busy during the dinner rush, you can call ahead and place a phone order and pay when you pick up. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. El Boby, sautéed shrimp and tri-tip in a spicy diabla sauce, grilled jalapeños and onions, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. The heat level can be adjusted; I've had it spicy, and the heat is real. Take it from a Mexican. The tri-tip and shrimp are cooked perfect. Orale!!! tried the Chile Verde Burrito...and that's definitely a hitter(buena por la cruda) My Fam introduced me to this spot. I've stopped by a handful of times so far every time I leave I gotta rub my tummy. It's in a shopping area, plenty of parking, next to a chevron, and not to far from downtown concord. The workers are great and definitely will explain to you what is in inside of their famous Bobby Burrito(order that at your own expense) you will be stuffed. The Chile Verde Burrito is what I just ordered yesterday as we ran around for Thanksgiving errands. Had it with refried frijoles and spiy salsa. Caution because the chile verde is liquidy and the frijoles tambein(also) the burrito stays temperature hot the whole time. but man talk about a good amount of chile verde, plenty of pork, and just the right amount of frijoles and arroz. We were filling a prescription at CVS so we decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The restaurant was clean and the gentleman who took our order was friendly. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla (medium spicy) and my wife ordered two chicken tamales. The chips and salsa were not great. The chips were way too salty and the salsa tasted off - like the ratio of ingredients wasn't quite right. My quesadilla was a disaster on a plate. I couldn't finish it because it was coated in some bizarre marinara-flavored combined with extremely spicy (not medium) elements. It was salty, gooey (in a bad way), and generally not enjoyable at all. Fortunately, my wife ordered two chicken tamales so I had one of them and wasted the rest of my meal. The tamale was decent - not bad, not great, but acceptable. The chicken was a little overcooked but it was edible. Omg! I ate a BOBY Gourmet Burrito. Okay I ate half. Lol. Delicious, flavorful, and plentiful! The most tender tri tip I've ever had. The meat was sauteed with grilled onions and jalapenos. It included shrimp in diablo sauce, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and cheese. All meat! No beans and rice. You place your order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I mostly eat vegetarian. The veggie tacos here are bomb. I eat fish from now and then. These guys have a Baja taco. That is Cod fish. Comes with a killer cilantro lime sauce. Service is always great. We used them today for our daughter's party. We had tried booking someone else we found on yelp and they just stopped responding. Food was pretty good actually, surprised my wife and I how big the fish and shrimp taco was a lot of guacamole on top also! The Al pastor and Chicharrones tasted good, Chicharrones could have been more cooked a bit more crispy. The carnitas fries I got were really good was surprised on the curly fries they used but it went well with everything. My only suggestion to them is to have pictures for the menu. ***3.5 Stars*** A solid option for fast casual Mexican food. I've actually been here a few times over the past 10+ years. It hasn't been super consistent since I already have my favorite usual suspects, but I've generally had some pretty good experiences with the food here. If you know Concord, then you know that there's a sh!t ton of taquerias out this way. I wouldn't say that Los Tacos de Pancho is top tier, but It'll still satisfy your cravings. I came here recently for none other than..... *wait for it*.... some tacos!!! With a name like that, I assumed the tacos had to be good. The verdict?! They were good but not mind blowing. I ordered a crispy chicken taco plate which comes with two crispy tacos, beans, rice, and complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were bomb. The chips tasted homemade and the salsa had good flavor and spice to it. The beans and rice were also really good and tasted authentic. The tacos were pretty good, but I didn't care too much for the chicken that they used. They use cubed chicken instead of shredded chicken. The problem with this is that the chicken wasn't very tender and appeared to be pretty dry. In addition to that, the chicken didn't taste like it had much seasoning. This is why I often prefer hard shelled tacos with shredded chicken instead of thick cuts of cubed chicken. Luckily their salsa did help to add some flavor to the chicken meat. Aside from that, I still found the food to be quite good. Service was also friendly, efficient, and quick and I love how easy the parking is. They have a little tent out front where you can sit down and dine there if you'd like. The inside is pretty small and they've removed the tables that used to l be inside due to COVID. So all in all, a pretty solid option for some cheapish Mexican food eats. I think I'll try their street tacos next time with a different meat other than chicken. read more

I got the carnitas super burrito and it was pretty huge, the carnitas was tasty (but there wasn't much of it in there), the other fillings were good except the rice was only meh. BOBY BURRITO: $13.95 (oof) - Upon ordering my Boby burrito, the cashier said "you'll need a lot of water! It's very spicy." so I opted for medium. My brother got spicy. He ended up trying mine to compare and said if spicy was a 10, medium was more like a 3. So a huge discrepancy in levels! We have high spice tolerances, but he agreed that medium was more palatable. The burrito itself does not come with rice or beans so there's nothing to soak up the sauce. It gets messy, so have napkins on deck! Overall packed with flavor, but because it gets soggy (especially at the end), probably wouldn't order again. Our orders came with a small bag of chips and your choice of mild, medium, or hot salsa. Their hot salsa packs a nice punch. Great addition and their chips are large and crisped well without being super oily. Their burrito prices aren't my favorite with so many comparable places in the area, but I will be back to try their super burrito (and compare to El Molino which is $3 cheaper!) and the shrimp burrito. We tried to go to another restaurant to find out it's only a ghost kitchen and we couldn't order from there. It was getting late (for our toddler), so we needed to get something quick, so we could get our toddler to bed. Unfortunately, this wasn't the place for that! We picked here because our friends gave it a rave review! Plus, it has a solid score on Yelp and it was close by. When I came in at 6:40 pm, it was quiet. I was the only one there. I ordered quickly and the employee there was super friendly. However, I waited about 30 minutes for my order which wasn't expected. Usually, with taquerias, it's super quick, especially if you're the only order. No one else came in while I was there, and not even a door dash or Uber eats driver or anyone. We ordered two burritos, a potato soft taco, and a fish taco. I was surprised the potato taco was in a crispy tortilla. I was expecting it to be soft. My son loved his deconstructed fish taco and the salsas. My husband liked his Chile Verde burrito but said he would order something else next time. My al pastor burrito left more to be desired. The meat didn't really taste like Al pastor. Man, I keep getting burned ordering that from anywhere else but Los Gallos. This had no hint of pineapple and if I didn't know that I had ordered Al pastor, I wouldn't have guessed that this was it. It tasted like generic meat. Also, there was lettuce in my burrito which is a total deal-breaker for me. I don't think the menu mentioned it or I definitely would have told them to leave it out. My husband said his burrito didn't have lettuce though, so that's strange. Overall, I was let down by our experience due to the long wait and the average food. However, I also think there are better things to order here! The wet burritos are probably awesome and there are signs all over the restaurant advertising their homemade tamales, which I would love to try.
