*****5 More Stars***** Had their tacos at a company catered luncheon and left me wanting more. So today we order 12 more Birria Cheese Tacos to watch the MLS finals. They did not disappoint! Tacos full of good meat, no fat nervy stuff, tacos were moist enough and you get some dipping juice as well, and tacos have a nice amount of heat. The lady who took our order was very welcoming, always with a smile on her face. She was very informative and actually knew of the company luncheon they had recently catered, and because of this, she was very helpful in assisting us place our order. Overall extremely happy with the food, & the service, they have gained a new customer that's for sure. Very nice clean place as well, highly recommend. Went there with family and friends because I had heard really good things about their food and was very disappointed. The seafood was very dry and for the prize the portions were small. We ordered a lot so that we could try most of their options and there wasn't one that was worth finishing. Also not a family restaurant, the waitress home we later found out is the owner's girlfriend flirts with the men and I didn't find that very professional. Definitely should think of hiring women who are there to work not entertain. read more

I really wanted to like this place but it just fell short in my book. The fried fish had little/no flavor. Just plainly fried. Didn't even taste like it was salted. And the carne asada was tough and chewy. You can see that the meat was cut along the grain so it made the texture difficult to eat through. I did however like the rice and beans and the grilled jalapeño. The one thing I absolutely hated was that my coke was flat! Absolutely flat! We had two and they both tasted terrible. I don't know how the soda could lose the carbonation if they were sealed. I don't think I'd be back any time soon. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for burritos a couple of months ago. We were in the area and I searched my Yelp app for Mexican food spots and found this place. I got a shrimp burrito that was $17, and my boyfriend got an asada burrito that was $16. We took our food to go and enjoyed them at home. The burritos were good but a bit pricey. They did have a lot of seafood options on their menu that looked really good. I'll have to come back to try out other items. read more

I absolutely loved my camarones a la Diabla ! Everything on the plate was delicious - fresh salad , beans , rice and shrimp . 10 out of 10. I even asked for more salad because it was so good . The service was great . The food is made fresh when you order . It's a very small place and it can get pretty busy so take out may be a better option . Everyone was friendly too. I'm surprised there weren't more reviews for this place. This place is a hidden gem. First time I tried the birria ramen I thought where the hell has this been all my life! It's like a beef stew seasoned with tapatio and has ramen noodles. Today I tried the shrimp mango habanero tostada and it was amazing! So refreshing and I love the right amount of spice from the habanero and sweetness from the mangos. And PLENTY of shrimp. They are not stingy on that. I have the fish tacos which they serve in a military style with two fried tortillas with melted cheese between the tortillas. The tacos were good but I was not expecting this style of taco so it caught me by surprise. The heavy amounts of cheese made these fish tacos taste more like quesadillas. The cheese and fried tortillas overpowered the fish and made for a greasier taco than I had hoped for. The green salsa is delicious. read more

I really liked the quality of the shrimp in my shrimp cocktail. I'd say it was my fav. I said no avocados but I guess the cashier thought otherwise. The music was quite loud. I also ordered carne asada tacos, which were dry and flavorless. I don't recommend. I had the 4 quesobirria with consome. They were very lack of luster. But I was probably full from the other tacos. I had to ask for the consome, and the woman who serves food and cooks just kind of gave a bad attitude about it. They also only give a few thin napkins for each person at the table. The toilet in the bathroom did not have a cover. I really wanted to like this place. I'd say If I were going for seafood items I would come here. That in itself is a plus. read more

This review is in reference to their taco truck at super station. I ordered my tacos (paid) and they completely forgot my order and instead of apologizing they accused me of being deaf. I was literally standing next to the cart where they were making the pastor tacos and they never called my number. After waiting 45 minutes they all claimed to have called my number which was complete bs!! I requested my refund, then left hungry and angry. read more

This place is a gem that my friend told me about. We came at lunch time and beat the rush ever so slightly. I was a little nervous to order meat when they specialize in seafood but man, I got the Birria tacos which came stuffed with meat and flavor. Something is not right here.. the quality, value and taste of the food that this place is unmatchable. I can't understand why the Yelp page is nearly empty. I can't understand why there isn't a line out the door. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but my 3rd order this month has been consistently perfect with no issues and that's why I'm here on Yelp today. Seeing how this is a Mariscos style restaurant, let's discuss the seafood. The shrimp fries had lightly battered pieces of shrimp. Shrimp is difficult to cook just right, but this has been consistently perfect. Just the right texture and amazing flavor. I can only name 1 other place that gets it right in Concord. The garlic fish plate is absurd. Where do I begin? Maybe I should've taken a picture next to a ruler. It has to be over 1 foot long. The quantity of the garlic brings me back to the days that I dined at the stinking rose. The fish felt so fresh, it wouldn't surprise me if it was pulled out of a fish tank right then and there. This location would always pop up on my yelp but since it didn't have much reviews I was hesitant. Yesterday we visit this location parking was empty but upon entering the restaurant there were lots of people. The place had NO AC! Both side doors were open allowing the outdoor heat come in. No one acknowledged us I had to ask the lady that was pretending to no see us, if we had to sit down and order or order before sitting down. I speak fluently Spanish so she just simply nodes her head and ignored my question so we proceeded to order. We order a custom michelada where the lady ask us how many shrimps we wanted??? So we said 4. I then order some shrimp tacos and along some aguachiles. The customer service was soo sad because the lady wasn't nice nor did she seem she liked what she was doing so we proceeded to sit down and wait for the food.... Besides the place being hot with no AC, Horrible customer service and lastly horrible food quality and presentation!!! You can see on the pictures yourself. I did ask after we received the food that WHY? Was our michelada made this way? Nothing to do with the customer michelada that they advertise! She didn't know how to answer just looking at me like..... ow no!! I showed her the yelp picture and said, " this is the reason we visit because your yelp review, so what's this called what you made for me?" A business could be good quality if only the people they hired out there heart on it as well if not then sorry we don't need people just making a check. Ordered the Birria Tacos with consume for the wifey and my mom. I didn't get a chance to because I had just visited the dentist and couldn't eat for an hour. Was referred to this spot from Friends and Family who frequent this place and it does get crowded from time to time. The restaurant is very clean and they make sure to bus the tables frequently. Menu is easy to view with pictures and prices next to it overhead as you're in line. I will definitely return to this spot whenever I'm in the area. The workers are cool, and the cooks give a huge amount of food for every order. When you see tons of people line up for their food out the door, it tells you to come try it or you'll be missing out. read more

Right when we walked in we were greeted! I loved that the lady behind the grill was singing her heart out from the music playing! Food was very delicious and fresh! Ceviche de Cameron was very good and the 3 fish Tacos! Very fresh and very tasty! Service was good! You do have to get up from your table and ask for things like napkins and forks. I got myself a caldo de camarón (shrimp soup) for my first visit and man it hit the spot! Mostly with this cold & rainy weather! The seasoning was really good and the broth was enjoyable on its own!
