Nashville Hot Chicken Waffle Sandwich, Liege Waffle, Honey Lavender Ice Cream, Bees Knees Ice Cream

I'm usually a little cautious when eating food truck chicken, but this sandwich was great. Impeccably juicy, but still crisp on the outside. Nicely spicy, I definitely felt it at both ends of my body. Totally worth it and was great to finish with some ice cream. The honey lavender ice cream could be a little more lavender-forward. The honeycomb bits in the Bee's Knees were a perfect little crunch- a great combination.

Running low on fumes after several rounds at Ninkasi Brewing. We looked across the patio and spotted I Scream for Waffles's distinctive truck. Susan volunteered for the mission and returned pronto with a cornbread/jalapeño waffle topped with veggie chili. YUM!

I think this may be my favorite Sunday lunch spot. We were craving waffles (not just waffles, leige waffles) a couple months ago and happened to get behind this food truck on our way downtown. We may have followed her to Ninkasi (tried not to be creepy about it) and looked them up at iscreamforwaffles.com - it all looked amazing. We stopped by for desert the followinf Sun. & it was amazing! We had lunch there today and ordered several different items off their menu (there's 5 of us) and none of us were disappointed. "I'll let you try mine if I can have a bite of yours!" "Oh man, that's good!" Til we all tried it all... so good! And the women running the truck are awesome - super friendly. Bonus - if you like beer, it's right in Ninkasi's tasting room courtyard! I'm so full, time for a Sunday afternoon nap! Ok, out on a date with my wife, on a gorgeous Oregon evening, and we tried a few seasonal options this evening. We split the chili cornbread waffle and the Pumpkin Spice Colossal Waffle... amazing!!! All of their food is awesome. THEY MAKE GOOD FOOD!!! No longer just a Sunday lunch favorite, definitely one of our all time favorite places to eat!

This food truck knows what's up when it comes to waffles. Their waffles are crispy, warm and heavenly. They make their own indulgent and flavorful ice creams. The employees are always smiling and doing a wonderful job. Their food truck is at Ninkasi on Sunday's in the Whiteaker. I had the ice cream waffle and savored every bite! Their honey bee ice cream is out of this world and you can even buy it in larger quantities to take home for later! Their sandwiches look amazing and I will definitely be back for one of their breakfast sandwich waffles for a Sunday brunch!

Delicious! Such an interesting, innovative idea! I had the turkey bacon ranch on waffled ciabatta bread and it was incredible. The waffle fries are amazing. If you're just in the mood for a snack, try the mozzarella waffle fries. They're as good as they sound. I couldn't finish so I took it home and ate it twice. Delicious! Friendly service, adorable truck and such a fun menu. Check them out!

My boyfriend has been on a quest for a good chicken and waffles so we decided to try this place out. Come to find out it's right next door to Ninkasi Brewery which we are both fans of so that's another plus. Of course we each ordered a chicken and waffle sandwich, I got their poutine on the side and my boyfriend got their waffle fries. He loved his sandwich and ate every bite, me on the other hand was sadly not a fan so I thought I'd get something sweet instead. I ended up getting their stuffed waffles with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. Now that was delicious, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

DISCLAIMER: I ONLY HAD A SINGLE PLAIN WAFFLE. However, it was incredibly delicious. I loved it. Warm, sweet, and rich. Dare I say a better waffle base than Off the Waffle? I think so... They even let me use a card! So very good. Loved it.

The Poutine Fries a re "MUST TRY"! The Salted Carmel ice cream is INCREDIBLY ADDICTIVE... Great Staff, Great Ingredients, Great Food!!

Tracked this truck down after seeing a massive line for them at the local food fair, and for very good reason. My party drove to the Ninkasi Tasting Room, a neat place that holds rotating food trucks, and luckily found them with a light line. A brief overview of their menu, a la laminated stylized photos of their dishes with descriptions, and we decided on the smoked gouda chicken and waffle sandwich, the winner-winner chicken dinner, and a screamin' waffle for dessert. Oh and a cup of their sweetened cold brew. After a bit of an understandable wait, our provided buzzer went off for our food. We exchanged the vibrating device to the joyous owner of the food truck for our plates that smelled wonderful. Both the sandwich and dinner plate included a piece of tender, juicy, crunchy, yet not overly heavy fried chicken, as well as using a savory rendition of the waffle. I wanna say it used chives but goodness, it's simply delightful and makes for a perfect savory bread. My garlic mashed potatoes were quite good, and the sandwich was smoky, crunchy, and refreshing. It was perplexing how such heavy dishes tasted so light, but we won't question the trickery/magic involved. The screamin' waffle, a sweet wafle split open and filled with scoops of chosen sea salt caramel ice cream, was just an equally fantastic way to end the experience. The ice cream was salty and sweet. The waffle was hot, soft, sweet, and the perfect taco-like exterior to eat with the quickly melting ice cream. It soon disappeared and we were left beyond satisfied with the meal. Highly recommended and will be back soon.

On our first morning in our new town, we went to The Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was a simple meal, but one we were grateful we could afford. When we asked for the check, our server smiled and told us someone had already paid for it. That small act of kindness made me feel like I truly belonged in our new home. It reminded me that even in an unfamiliar place, there were good people who cared about others. Since that day, every time we visit The Original Pancake House, we make it a point to pay it forward whenever we can. It's our way of honoring the kindness that meant so much to us and has stuck with me. Beyond the beautiful memory, the food is incredible. It's hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Comfort food that tastes like it's made with love. You must try the Dutch baby! The ladies who work there are always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. The Original Pancake House in Eugene is a charming, family-friendly spot with genuine warmth and stellar coffee. The casual, lively vibe makes it feel like the proper brunch destination you'd hope for from a legendary breakfast joint. We ordered their hero dish--a side of buttermilk pancakes--and the Irish Omelette. The pancakes delivered real flavor: fluffy, tender, with classic buttermilk tang. My only critique? They arrived cool, likely from sitting in the warmth window a bit too long. Off the griddle, these would shine. The Irish Omelette was more disappointing. Designed to be airy and light with corned beef and potatoes inside, ours was overcooked and rubbery--far from the delightful, pillowy texture it should be. For a restaurant with this history, execution should be consistent. The coffee and service were warm and attentive, which goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Worth visiting for atmosphere, especially if your pancakes arrive hot. Try during slower service to avoid the window-sit fate. The Portland location executes at a higher level.

It was super busy when I visited around 9:45am on a Monday, so you know they're good. I was greeted immediately and placed my order quickly. The girl working the register was super helpful and friendly. I wanted to try the seasonal banana bread cold brew, but I can't have caffeinated drinks so I asked if it could be made decaf. She said she can do it as a decaf latte instead and I agreed. It is SO good! It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. You can taste banana and cinnamon, perfectly balanced. I was worried the banana flavor would be fake tasting but it's not, it tastes like real bananas. I also got the Sasquatch sushi because I had to know what it was and it was amazing. It's a pbj with banana, in sushi form! It's such a cool idea and tasted fantastic. My partner was also super entertained by it and he loved it too. I got the Sunbreak breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Everything I had here today was fantastic! I love this little cafe and will absolutely be back. We were happy to see that while they were fairly busy, they were quick to put together a table to accommodate us right away. Located within a small strip type mall in South Eugene, parking is relatively easy. This local family business is open 7 days a week from 7am to 2pm. They offer their full menu which includes both breakfast and lunch items all day. In addition to American breakfast classics they offer Mexican-inspired dishes such as Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles. Our server came by and welcomed us and took our drink orders. In addition to the natural offerings of coffee and assorted juices they offer specialty coffees ranging from a standard iced coffee to white mochas, cappuccinos, dirty chai tea latte's and Mexican mochas. As we began to peruse the menu we immediately noticed their prices are extremely reasonable, which is always appreciated. Everything on the menu sounded really yummy and we each made our selections. Our table ordered items including the Linguica Scramble, Pancakes, and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. The restaurant had a good steady stream of customers but they appeared to be able to handle the amount of people and we didn't notice anyone wait more than a couple of minutes to be seated. We also observed a good amount of to-go/Door Dash traffic. Our orders arrived in a timely manner and looked delicious.
