I was staying here for my second time. Last year I stayed for the same event. I only had good memories of it, so I was looking forward to returning. I was staying for four nights, and when I arrived it was around 5:30 PM on a Thursday night. After a long day of traveling, I was definitely ready to get in my room and settle in. The coordinators from the event had made my reservation, and they accidentally made it for one day extra. At first the Hyatt said that I would have to pay for it, but then we worked it out when I showed them proof of the email I sent them with the correct dates. Overall, the check in process took a little bit longer than usual for that reason. I also had to tell them that I was a Hyatt rewards member, because they didn't ask. Make sure you let them know when you check in so that you get your points. Since there were two events going on at once, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't on a noisy level. I asked if I could be put in either a corner room, or a room that was away from the younger kids from the events. They said they would do their best. I had a room on the 15th floor. I had an amazing view. I loved watching the sun come up in the morning and the sun go down at night. The room was a pretty good size. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a lot of space in my room. The bathroom was really tiny, so I wasn't a fan of that. The Wi-Fi was complimentary and worked very fast. The amenities were great as well as the hospitality and customer service. There is a bar/restaurant called Networks. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also do trivia on Thursday nights. They also have an Einstein brothers café that's open until 3 PM for bagels, breakfast, and coffee. They have a gift shop, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a 24 Hour Fitness Center. They also have a beautiful garden court. They have a business center as well, all of the amenities that you would hope for at a hotel, except for a spa - they do not have that. They also have in room dining, if you don't feel like leaving your room. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around and everything is pretty much in walking distance. Keep in mind, because of the location of this hotel being so near the convention center, there are often times very large groups there for certain events. Since there were two large groups there when I stayed, the elevators were an issue. There was a very long wait, and every time you got an elevator you were in there with about 15 other people. Definitely not ideal, but not much you can do about it. Also, be aware that there will be noise! I loved working out of the gym every morning, it had a lot of cardio appointment, free weights, yoga balls, mats, and also machines. I did not use the pool, but it was beautiful to look at on my way to the gym every morning. One day, I had a really bad day and couldn't find my key - I told customer service about how crappy my day was, later on I had a note underneath my door saying " call extension 51 to retrieve your amenity." Well, I did just that, and a half an hour later I had a knock on my door. There was a beautiful girl dropping off a plate of chocolate covered strawberries with a card that said "Hope you're having a better day love the Hyatt." After a long, bad day - I almost wanted to cry it was so sweet. I sent them a very nice tweet.. They even tweeted me back telling me again to have a better day. I really respect this. I told everybody had dinner the next night who is staying there about my experience, and they all said they love the Hyatt. I never had a bad stay at the Hyatt, I'm looking forward to return to the Hyatt in Denver for a week next month. Thanks again for the lovely stay. I definitely recommend this hotel.
