Finally had the time to stop by again! I've been craving it all month and as always, they did not disappoint! I thought it was quite nice that they started taking reservations. It made things a lot easier and there was no lines or waiting. We got the large and small intestines, thin premium orginal pork belly, seafood pancake, and the cold noodles. Our waitress cooked our pork belly on one grill and the intestines on another. While cooking she would let us know how much longer each of the meat would take to cook or if it was ready to eat. All of it was cooked amazingly and she was very tentative with replenishing our side dishes and water when it got low. The seafood pancake was SOOO fluffy and genuinely one of the best seafood pancake I ever had. It was packed with seafood. Each bit had something different. The cold noodles was a nice cleanse from the grease from the meats. It was refreshing! Noodles weren't soggy and broth was simple and clean. Hwang Soh was a surprisingly delicious kbbq find! A traditional place, the cooking of the meat is handled by the employees. One thing I found particularly interesting at Hwang Soh was that the meat was seasoned (with black pepper, for example) by the employee at the time of grilling. I don't think I've seen a kbbq place do that before! It's totally optional, but I trusted the employee to do their thing. The meat was indeed really delicious. I've been getting takeout from here and finally dined in with my friend. I have been looking for a kbbq spot with quality intestine bbq. Gopchang Story is reliable and good, but is kind of far from me. I prefer to eat grilled intestines at restaurants that specialize in it like Hwang Soh Grill. There are the usual meats on the menu too if you just want regular kbbq. Prices here are pretty average considering the quality of meat. We shared 1 order of small intestine and 1 order of large intestine. They had good flavor and seemed to be cleaned well. I just can't get enough of the taste of grilled innards and chives together. My friend was trying grilled intestines for the 1st time and she fell in love with the chive pairing too. It comes with onions, potatoes, pumpkin, mushroom, and rice cakes on the grill. Side dishes were also average but good. The first time I got takeout from here it came with pickled garlic ramps leaves! Those were great. Of course, we finished the meal with fried rice - the perfect dessert. I do wish there was more leftover fat in the pan for fried rice, but a lot of it had drained off because of the type of grill pan they used. I thought the portions were ok for someone with a big appetite, but 2 orders and fried rice is certainly a lot for someone with a small appetite. I want to come as a party of 3 next time, so I can order my favorite, abomasum. Their mountain tripe is tasty too with lots of garlic. Can't wait to come back! read more

Don't expect butt-kissing American style "good" service, they deliver good Korean style service which is no nonsense and efficient. They don't just help you with the cooking we are supposed to do ourselves, they make good suggestions but also move you along (this sort of food shouldn't be eaten to slowly). well this is the first time coming to this particular Korean BBQ restaurant versus where I usually go food was good service was a little weird. giving Korean beef dumplings at the end and serving the Korean fried rice separate from the wagu beef.wagu beef was a meh ok. it was New York strip style but I think it was a bit overpriced compared to the other dishes for Korean barbecue. Had some parking spot next to the building. Service was good. Waitress assisted bbq grill when she had time. Food came out pretty quick.
