What a gem in Park Ridge! We ordered take out after a Friday night movie. I ordered a mild tofu stew with beef and hubby got chicken tonkatsu. We were amazed that the food came with several banchan. The pickled radish and onion/jalapeño are the absolute best. There is so much food. We saved half of our meals for tomorrow. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes and our order was taken with a smile. The dine in area is adorable with cute quotes and lots of artificial but realistic looking plants that make you feel like youre out on a patio in a summer. We will absolutely be back soon to try more of their food.

I am Korean American. While I was traveling here, I missed Korean food. This is really awesome ones that you should come and taste. The foods are very delicious and very reasonable price. This is a hidden gem!!!

    Sizzling hot!

For context, have had a really frustrating time finding a good Korean spot in Chicago. Have gone to highly rated places before and been just disgusted with my orders! So I came in skeptical since it is technically Asian-fusion. Happy to see the owners were Korean (good sign!). Bibimbop was so lovely. Service kind. Restaurant clean. I will be back :)

Me and my cousins came here to grab some lunch and we were floored. I got the Seafood Udon which was soooo good and perfect for this cold snowy day. We also had tried the Spicy Pork which was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Also gave us free order of fried kimchi which was soooo good. I personally don't love kimchi but the fried kimchi was amazing!! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best Korean food in the area!! Thank you so much for your welcoming service!

    Shrimp and noodle

Ordered carryout everything was delicious and packaged really well! All three of our dishes were wonderful. The BBQ pork came with an egg that was perfect with the rice. We also had the shrimp with noodles and the chicken teriyaki udon, both fantastic. We'll definitely be back! Only suggestion: it would be amazing if you added bubble tea to the menu, the kids in the neighborhood would love it!

    Mandu

Ordered shrimp yaki soba, spicy pork and veggie mandu. All good! Deducting 1 star bc the "veggie mandu" was actually meat (and a little greasy)! Go try it! We will return!

The food here is amazing! Fresh and full of flavor. The owner is very friendly and the restaurant is very cozy, nicely decorated and super clean. I can't recommend this place enough.

Absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend the hot stone bibimbap and the chicken karaage- large portions and fair pricing. Nice couple that owns the place, great service and just opened this month. Check it out!

The grill was a touch oilier than I'm used to (probably to keep the meat from sticking), but it bother me slightly although most people would probably enjoy it. We've got been twice so far and both times we're very satisfied overall with all the food. The second time the un- marinated brisket seemed like it was cut a little too thin or the grill was a little too hot, so there was more sticking to the grill than expected but overall everything still tasted really good great kimchi, great potato salad, lots of veggies, lots of flavor. Soda wise they have Pepsi if that impacts your restaurant choice.

The restaurant is small so seating can be limited. Parking is sufficient since it's a shared lot. The service was very attentive and friendly. This is a family owned and run establishment. We ordered the combination platter (bulgogi, kalbi fingers, and pork belly), mo dum jun (combination platter for appetizers, ggo ri gom tang (oxtail soup). I recently stopped by with my boyfriend while passing through the area, and Korean soup hits differently when it's freaking cold outside. The bowl includes thin flour noodles, tender meat and tendon, and is topped with green onions. It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking. All of that plus a Diet Coke came out to $33.99 for both of us. In this economy? That's a solid deal. The lady and the man working behind the counter are always sweet, which is a plus. The food was comforting and much needed. I'm so thankful this place still exists and is standing strong even after Assi is gone. It doesn't seem to have dumb'ed down just to appease the locals (ha ha). I've been here twice and the little side dishes appear to rotate slightly so they weren't the same both times (I confess I ordered the goat soup both times). I see a lot of past reviews mention the oxtail. I wish I could get some of that. There is bulgogi and rice on the menu too. The spicy pork bulgogi was plentiful, but it wasn't as spicy as the soup. I promise I'll try a different soup next time. Maybe.

The meat usually has a great smoky flavor that pairs so well with the salad, which is slightly sweet and tangy. It's like you get to enjoy bbq without having to grill it yourself.
