Everything we've ordered has been of excellent quality and priced reasonably: salads, fish and chips, sandwiches... have all been tasty and have had good service. Came here for Father's Day brunch, and was not disappointed! The setting is beautiful overlooking not only the golf course but with a view of vineyards in the distance as well! The brunch consisted of a good variety of items and they were nicely laid out. The carving attendant was super friendly, and made us feel welcome, and as though our business mattered. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Our bottomless mimosas were consistently filled without our asking. Major props there. The atmosphere is dressy and upscale, yet not at all stuffy. The bacon IS awesome as they say, and there was such a variety of foods to choose from, not just breakfast but lunch stuff too, and kid food too. Eggs, sausage, quiche, potatoes, chinese chicken, pasta salad, shrimp, egg rolls, eggs benedict, salsa, chiliquiles, waffle bar, omelete bar, etc. A variety for sure, that was just a few I can think of. If you've got to get together with family on a Sunday, this place has it all for everyone. Great atmosphere with the views, the buffet was very clean and attended all the time by staff. The online menu lists the prices as adult $32.95, seniors $26.95. Steep, but considering the importance of making Dad happy, we made reservations by phone and ate there. Fabulous California cuisine with a breath taking patio view. If you like golf, you can golf and then come 2 the restaurant 4 lunch or dinner. The mushroom soup was amazing!!! I've never had pureed mushrooms but the flavor was so much better because of the mushrooms being in tiny little pieces. It infused the soup with a much richer flavor because of it. Excellent location with wonderful and attentive staff. That being said, this place could really benefit from a more varied menu with some meatless and healthier options for sandwiches and meals. Wouldn't be that difficult to add a Garden Burger and or other vegan/vegetarian options to it's current menu, and would attract a whole other clientele in the process. With more options on the menu, I would be much more inclined to visit more often instead of making the trek to Templeton for lunch. read more

Awesome food, wine, and service (from Jon!) We stopped here for lunch on our way back home from Carmel Valley based on great yelp reviews. This place is great! The Da Vinci chicken sandwich and Cobb salad are awesome! Best sweet potato fries ever- crispy and not greasy. Something to consider- on Sundays they serve brunch until 2 and didn't serve the lunch menu. You can get a limited lunch menu during brunch if you sit at the bar. Jon was our bartender and he was very accommodating and friendly- we told him it was our first time eating here and he really put in the effort to make us not only feel welcome but to come back (to make this a routine stop for us on our way home after weekends up north). Jon's attitude is a sign of a restaurant that values customers and knows how to keep us coming back. I hope Kelly sees this- Jon is a gem! Oh and the chard is great! read more

Beautiful setting & the service was great. I had the open-face Seafood Melt. It was Ok. A friend gave me a taste of Kelly's bacon; yum-yum. Several ladies got the daily salad special-Chicken/Asparagus; they said it was delicious. The Egg Roll appetizer looked good too. I will definitely go back there. yup, givng a golf course grill 4 stars! clean and well appointed grill with a full bar in the middle of the golf course, right next to the pro shop. Stopped in yesterday for lunch with the inlaws, big portions. Started off with some beer battered onion rings and we all had either burgers or sandwiches. Im not sure any of us finished off our plates. The bacon on the burgers and sandwiches was amazing, thick cut and glazed in something sweet, still really crispy. Tea wasn't my favorite, was a florally sweet kind, I would of just preferred a regular black lipton style. I will be coming back to eat again, maybe even play the course. read more

This restaurant was very accommodating for a party of seven. We were seated on the back porch with a beautiful view. There is a nice selection of items, including many delicious salads. They have the absolute best Sunday brunch i have had in san luis obispo county. This place is a definite must! I decided to take my family here for the first time a few weeks ago. Our server John was fantastic we didnt have to ask for a refill on our drinks once, if we asked about a food item he would just grab a plate and bring us some. My son was getting married at a winery in Paso Robles and his future in-laws recommended Hunter Ranch Grill for the Rehearsal Dinner. Being that we are not from the area, we trusted their recommendation and we were not disappointed. Firstly, Kelly, the grill manager was fantastic. She accommodated any of our requests and even went above and beyond to decorate with decorations I provided. The food was fantastic and everyone raved about the quality and quantity of the buffet. We love taking the family to this restaurant. We enjoy the outside seating on the covered patio, overlooking the rolling hills and golf course. The staff is attentive and very friendly. They have a variety of food from burgers to salads. Their chicken Da Vinci sandwich is great! Anything with their bacon on it is good. The kids love the sliders. They have great sweet potato fries too. If you are looking for a Sunday brunch, its the best around, while pricey, its well worth it for a special occasion. Kelly's has my favorite Sunday brunch. Her food is consistently good, most are the same things she served at her place on Spring St. but I think the brunch is now better than ever! For $23 bucks you get a bottomless mimosa, all the usual breakfast fare, prime rib, nova lox, bagels and other awesome pastries, she makes this wonderful savory bread pudding, a club eggs Benedict and a seafood ceviche, also lots of dessert choices. Oh and the bacon ROCKS! What makes this brunch better than downtown is actually the location. There is plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. We just had brunch her Sunday and enjoyed it. As brunches go, it's one of the best in Paso Robles. They are famous for their maple bacon, carved prime rib, omelet station and dessert selection. Free champagne or mimosas are served throughout the meal. Kids eat free with an adult. My favorites are the blintzes, bread pudding and eggs Benedict. What a pleasant surprise! We driving through, heading to SoCal for some camping and we needed some lunch. So, I pulled out my handy-dandy Yelp app and voila! Not being a local, we had no idea that the restaurant was located at a golf course, but that's OK! The food was really good as was the service. For our 36 anniversary, I surprised my wife with a special lunch at Hunter Ranch Grill. The food was good and the service was excellent.

My wife and I had the club Benedict and granola. The Benedict was the best I've had and the homemade granola was perfectly sweet.

Sunday Brunch was excellent! This venue is one of the best for food! I highly recommend coming here if you want to enjoy a hearty and very tasty lunch buffet with all the wonderful trimmings. Not too bad for lunch, quality is pretty good, atmosphere is comfortable. Their sandwiches are good, fries are great. They run out of things quite often which is frustrating, but I think they don't get much business sometimes. It is on the golf course so I don't believe much of their business comes from people who aren't playing. No full bar which sucks but they have several beers and wine.
