Horrible night at humdingers! Brought 12 girls here for my daughters birthday. They said they couldn't do a party but we could bring cupcakes. After buying fake pizzas, watered down sodas, bowling and arcade games. The manager interrupts us singing happy birthday, that If we eat the cake she will call the police on us because they don't allow outside food. I asked to speak to her manager and was told she was the owner. Who wouldn't allow a 12 year old to eat cake on her birthday! Horrible people work here. Stay away Stephani, corporate will be hearing from us. You are very dishonest and you didn't let a 12 year old girl eat her bday cake on her birthday. Whatever you tell yourself to be able to sleep tonight. Telling a dad in front of his daughter you are calling the police if she eats that cake! Scar a child much! I went to humdingers for the first time on Saturday with my niece. It was her birthday and was looking for a fun place to take her. It was my first time there so I didn't really know what to expect. The staff at the front desk was really proactive and made us feel welcome. One young man mikeel was really patient despite all our questions and explained everything thoroughly and even showed us around. My niece had a great time and we would definitely go back again. Such nice facilities, arcade games, bowling lanes, big parking lot, restaurant, everything is so nice. It's a pity that most of the staff there have no idea what service is. I work in retail and service and there is a big miss in this place because their focus is definitely not on service. The service staff is borderline rude and disrespectful. This is a business that caters mostly to children so it's great that the children can go off and enjoy it and not have to experience this lack of customer care that is blatant here. First time at this location. We were here for a friend's birthday and we received unlimited wings and onion rings along with a ticket card for the batting cage and arcade. I believe it was 1 hour for the batting cage and 45 minutes for the arcade. However, we were able to go back to the batting cage after the hour (they were just no longer reserved). The arcade games were limited, but the batting cage was very enjoyable. You were able to choose between baseball or softball. Bat and helmets are both provided. The total cost was $30. They were accommodating with the unlimited wings and onion rings, however after 30 minutes they cleared all the food, which was disappointing. This location is also BYOB and they will help chill the drinks for you. I wish they did not clear our table before our time was up, but overall our party had a good and relaxing time. read more

Look at this place. It was Thursday night. And we're here mainly for this reason - so we can play to ourselves since no one really play on school nights. Knowing it's our first time, the guy in charge couldn't even recognize the importance of retaining new customers. We had two kids under two years old and wouldn't even give a complimentary lane for them to play. Not only that, by the end of the night, we were waiting for our Uber to come. Mind you, this is winter and it's 20 degrees outside. This manager kicked out both of our wives and kids out in the cold. Ruthless. Had really high hopes for this place and while it was alright it didn't blow me out of the water. You can't make any reservations for here, and so we wanted to bowl but on a Friday night, getting there at 7, the wait was already 2.5 hours, and you can only bowl for an hour when you do get there. The food was okay. I knew the policy was that you could only order wine if you ordered food, but we didn't know it had to be at the same time that you buy the food. Arcade games were fun though, as were the batting cages. Here early Friday so it wasn't the usual crowd as later on. Claw machines & arcade games greet you as you walk into the larger area. Customer service desk right there. We bowled so there was a wait. Played some games while we waited. Not many as we were called right away. Bowling lanes/eating area was very clean. Ordering was extremely easy. On a touch screen menu and you pay right there. What a convenience! Literally 20/30 minutes later we picked up our food at the "kitchen/restaurant ". Food was surprisingly good. We ordered: half n half pizza, salsa & chips, sliders and drinks. No complaints, just enjoyment. The bowling lanes are fun for kids and very considerate of them. You can set automatic bumpers for kids that play. Dinosaur's dancing on the lane, really good music too. There was a tv screen playing the latest Minion movie. We had a great time. One of those places where everything works. Nice, newish games, no broken pixels, no out of order signs. All good. All fun. Lastly, this place is on the pricier side. Not the good Ol' bowling spot where it smells funny when you walk in. You know which lanes sucks, you can't hear the music or rather it's all you can hear. Old bowling balls, old rentals. Panel walls throughout. This place right is a level up. Maybe two. Food was about $80, one game $75 and it's TIMED. You have to play within the time it gives you. We didn't. We lost out on the last two games. Oh & the staff is super friendly. This place brings me back to simpler time. I came here at 2pm on a Friday afternoon with some coworkers. The place is tucked away from the main road off highway 17 in a commercial plaza with ample parking. The facilities are all brand new and the place was completely empty when I arrived. There are 8 batting cages for $2.50 per round, 12 bowling lanes with a semi-retro feel, and an arcade. The arcade selection is somewhat out of date and does not feature the very latest, but between skeeball, basketball hoops, air hockey, and an assortment of racing games and first person shooters there is enough to entertain most children and adults. There is also a "laser maze" (not to be confused with laser tag) where you attempt to get through the maze without tripping any lasers. I didn't get a chance to try the food here, but they appear to have a reasonable menu for a family entertainment center and allow alcohol (BYOB) in the dining areas only. If you've come here as part of date however, might I suggest the 10 minute drive to Ridgewood for superior dining options read more

I've been a regular guest at Humdingers for a couple of years now and it is a very solid option for fun with your kids or just fun with friends! Pros: - Great batting cages with plenty of different speeds - Arcade has many different games and you can easily spend your whole stay playing here - Facility is incredibly clean and nice looking - Staff have always been welcoming, friendly, and eager to help whenever possible Cons: - Can be a bit pricey. There are certainly more affordable places to bowl and to hit some baseballs - Location is odd and can be difficult to find for a first-time visitor I never had food here so I can't comment on it. Overall, I'd be happy to recommend this place to anyone looking to take their kids for a party or for some indoor fun on a rainy day. This was my first time here. I work around the area and didn't even know this was so close. They have a batting cage, AirHockey, bowling, arcade games and a laser room. The place is BYOB so you can bring your own beer or wine no Hard liquor and they have to serve you with the order of food if that makes sense. They also have a separate section for parties and an area where you can purchase food and sit down to eat. If I could give this place a 0 I would, I came in today with my service dog, and they didn't allow me to come in with her. None of the staff was informed that asking for documentation of a service dog is illegal, not even the manager, who asked me to leave because I had my service dog. This place is fun for kids and big kids! The batting cages are great workout. The lazer maze was fun ($2.50) and had 2 different maze options (dont touch any lazers vs touch as many lazers possible). They had skee ball, air hockey, large pacman and space invaders. The food didn't look too good and th cafe looked empty. Just had a birthday party for my 13 yr old at Humdingers. It was, without a doubt, the best party we ever hosted! It was seamless! Our coaches (Sofia, Connor, Zack and Brandon) were on the ball. They have batting cages, arcade games, bowling, a really cool laser maze, great food, a Carvel and are consider a Wine Tasting Room. They don't serve hard alcohol but you can buy full bottles of wine. It is BYOB restaurant which means as long as you are eating food you can BYOB to play games too. The bowling lanes are shorter to make it easier for younger kids. You can customize each bowler, it even knows which bowler is up and which one needs bumpers. They offer good packages for birthday parties. They have activities in the evenings for adults, like movie night " HARRY POTTER (MOVIE) TRIVIA", Bands on some Saturday Nights and more. I would love to give this place a 5 Star rating but the only thing holding me back is the wait times for bowling. I wish you could sign-up on a waitlist online, getting there and telling your kid bowling is an hour wait stinks. Even with Games and Batting Cages if you promise your kid they can bowl and you get there and you can't, you end up with unruly angry kids. One more thing, the food is very inexpensive compared to other entertainment places but they get you on the batting cage prices and video game costs. If you have children they would have a good time here. I went here for some batting practice with some teammates. It is $2.50 for a few balls, really pricey, and I got at least one or more balls each time that did not reach the plate. I like that they are BYOB for beer, but you have to get food in order to drink your beer. I get it if you just there hanging out not putting money into the batting cages, bowling, or arcade games, but I spent 20 bucks in the cages, you would think that I would not have to buy a 7 dollar app on top of that. Okay this place is whacked. They have signs all over saying no outside food so I spent $79 to feed the group of 4 kids and 2 adults. In the meantime half the place was eating food from home openly. It's clean but very disorganized with a two hour wait for bowling. Batting cages are $2.50 for 10 balls and the video games range from $0.50 to $1.50! Pretty disappointed with this place. I decided to visit because one of my students parents suggested I go there. It's BYOB there is a small arcade but that's exactly what it is... A small arcade with a few games. Maybe it was my mistake to think that it may be similar to D&B but boy was I wrong. There are also batting cages which are pretty cool but honestly, batting cages don't take all day. You make go about 3 or 4 times and get tired of it. At least that's what happened with my group of 13-26 year olds. The bowling ally was good, they had a few lanes but prices were pretty high. Would I come back? Probably not. read more

Very unorganized and expensive. I was here on Presidents Day, a Monday, with my boyfriend and 2 of our friends. The website says that during the week it's $30 per hour per group to bowl. When we walked in to pay, they told us that because it's a holiday it's $40 an hour plus $5 per person for shoes. We were pretty angry about that since we couldn't find that anywhere on the website. (I went back and looked at it again and still can't find where it says that.) We paid because we were already there but weren't too happy about it. It's also very disorganized. It's a BYOB for beer and wine. You give your alcohol to the bar and they give it back to you after you order food. Weird but okay. But there was no one working at the bar so it took a very long time to check our alcohol in. Then when I asked how it worked with the BYOB and if we had to buy food every time we drank or if they brought it to us, etc, no one knew. My friends boyfriend went to get a soda at the bar and it took him 20 minutes to find someone working there. The arcade was nice and the games were reasonably priced which was good, I would go back there for the arcade alone. Batting cages were fun but it's $2.50 for only 10 pitches which seemed steep to me. Definitely wouldn't bowl there again. Too expensive. The food was also expensive but the nice thing is you can order something like one order of fries and then have all your alcohol, so I might go there and drink and go to the arcade. Had my sons birthday party here and I have to say I was a bit nervous because of the reviews and some wrong info I received from an employee there...but my son chose Humdingers and was very excited about it. I am so so GLAD I did it.... the staff was amazing, our party coaches were on top of everything, they really knew how to handle the kids and stay organized. The party managers were also so organized and on top oof everything. I was really happy with there service from start to finish. The kids had so much fun because there was aa lot to do between the three activities. The party was a hit, my son was ecstatic, and I was impressed! Absolutely awful. Bought a Groupon which states it can be used any weekday after 6pm (which i went today 2/19/19 TUESDAY) and the staff including all managers working would not let me or the woman and her family ahead of me use our Groupons stating that they have the right to deny use of them at any time. Which is NOT stated on the Groupon. They tried to say today was a holiday. IT IS CLEARLY NOT. Then they said it's a holiday week. SMH. So, I'm suppose to pay again and more money because it's winter break even though it's not written on the terms of the agreement and the place was absolutely dead inside, regardless. They said they won't take it and that i have to now request a refund from Groupon. I would never step foot inside this place even if Groupon doesn't refund my money. Absolutely disgusted. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Purchased a groupon that was valid until Jan 7. Tried to go right after purchase but was too crowded to redeem without waiting an hour. Went back over the Christmas break and they refused to honor it until the students were back in school.
