Your kids will absolutely have a BALLLL here. Definitely one of the best indoor playgrounds we have been to in northern NJ. We decided to bring our kids here on a wet and rainy Saturday morning at 10:30AM to let them get some steam out .... and boy did they. First off, all shoes must come off when in the play area. In addition, it's advertised that no outside food or drinks are allowed, but I observed people with Dunkin iced coffees and bottles of water from outside. It seemed that no staff members check your bags, so if you end up bringing something inside your bag, chances are it'll make it in. As for the play area, this indoor playground is prettttty, prettttty big, as in wide and spacious. I love the fact that there aren't a whole lot of tall apparatus, like super tall slides, because it's really unnecessary for little kids. There are plenty of slides though, but, of a reasonable and safe height. The obstacles in here feel endless and there are plenty of interactive activities too, like immersive games to play. Also, there is a staff member monitoring the gate into the play area at all times as well, which is nice to see. Although we weren't here for any birthday party, we did observe quite a few take place in the celebration/cake rooms. In fact, I ended up walking into an empty party room just to see how big the room was and it felt like it was a bit on the small side, however, it seemed like the parties that were happening squeezed quite a few people inside. The parties seemed VERY, VERY well organized. I observed the staff announcing on the loudspeakers for attendees of respective parties to head to the party rooms when it was time to eat and I noticed staff members assisting the party parents with decorations and moving gifts, food and cakes. Back to the play area, there was a staff member vacuuming parts of the play area every so often, although it seemed like it was more for show because whatever they were doing didn't seem all that productive. Also, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of policing of the play rules either as I guess it's expected parents will do it. If you're wondering about food, there is a small eating area with benches and quite the menu of food (e.g. pizzas, quesadillas, pretzels, desserts, drinks) that they sell - definitely more than I've seen at other places. In fact, we ended up eating here because the menu was interesting enough and the food/combo was worth it where we got the Large Pizza with 5 box drinks for just $18. At the end of the day, our kids absolutely had a blast here. They loved all of the activities and it never felt boring for them despite the fact that we were here for 2.5 hours. Also, other kids were flying around and everyone seemed like they were really enjoying themselves. We went for a birthday party. Check in was easy and you can fill the waiver out ahead of time or you can do it there. Kids are able to play until it's time for food and cake. Kids can keep playing after as well. Took a star off because everyone should be required to take their shoes off. Our socks weren't as dirty as I'd think so that's a good thing but it would def be cleaner if everyone had to take their shoes off. I came on a weekend so there were many parties taking place. The play area and party area were very clean. It was easy to spot your kids even in a crowded play place. I took my daughter (7) and my son (4) to Catch Air Paramus this past Tuesday. I got them out the door early so we could be one of the first people there to beat any crowd. It never got too crowded and my kids had plenty of space to play. This was the first time my daughter has been here since the renovation. She thought it was much better, and it definitely made it more suitable for "older" kids. The play structure they have in there is HUGE! Kids can climb, slide, swing, spin, shoot foam balls, go in a ball pit, jump on trampolines, everything! It's also cool because it's all connected so they can climb in on one end and end up all the way on the other side. It is very neat in my opinion. They also offer a toddler play space and it looks nice and big. They even have their own little play structure to climb. Overall it is a fun place to go with the kids but it is certainly at a cost and it's a big cost in my opinion. It's $25.00 for each kid and $8.00 for each adult. Paying for myself to get in always annoys me a bit, especially with that kind of price per child. Also, they don't let you bring snacks in so I went with my kids to buy some snacks and water. At the concession stand (where you can buy actual food too like pizza and chicken fingers) they also sell stuffed animals. Well, of course my kids wanted stuffed animals too. I told them no, and if you know children, that totally ruined their day. Even though they had a blast for the past two hours. *insert mom eye roll* I do like that they've adopted a Chuck E Cheese type check in and check out. They stamp you and your kids hands so that when you leave they check the stamps to make sure they all match. I have been here for couple of birthday parties and I really liked it. It's far better than other I places I have been in the area. Very clean, everything secured ver well, all the play areas are functional. The floor space is huge, have different kinds of activities. At the gate they stamp each kid and their parents, and they check and match when leaving. Stamps are invisible and need UV light to see, hence making it more safer. For the birthday, they give you a room for 30 minutes. Couple of associates help with serving food and drinks, cutting and handing out cakes, and finally to clean up. Take also take pictures and videos. The booking is for 2 hours, rest of the 1.5 hours is for play area, but guests can stay longer if they wish to. Some of the leggings are the pizza they serve the kids, are not tasty at all. The restrooms are not well maintained, broken faucets, toilet paper left on top of the toilet. Some parents don't take off shoes, and walk around play area, party rooms and restrooms, spreading germs from their shoes. read more

It's a big place with a lot of fun activities to do. However, this place gets packed. The check in area was so crowded. Almost shoulder to shoulder human traffic. Does a maximum capacity rule even apply at this place? Adults have to pay admission fees too. There were a lot of older kids(teens) running around and bumping into kids but none of the workers seem to be doing anything? Is there an age limit? They had workers at certain parts of the place but they are not regulating safety, cleanliness or anything at all. They don't mandate having to have your shoes off so if you're taking a younger one, I'd just be careful so they don't get their feet stepped on. Don't waste your money!! $700 wasted! Booked a b-day party for my 3 year old and it was a terrible experience. Our room was booked from 1:30pm to 3:30pm but the room wasn't ready until 2pm. They announced that the food was ready at 2:50pm, had us singing happy b-day by 3:15, and wanted us out of the room by 3:30. Parents and their 3 year olds had to eat, sing happy b-day, cut the cake, and eat the cake and be ready to leave in a span of 40 minutes. My 1 year old son enjoyed his 2 hours here. Within Catch Air, there is a day care that uses the facility so it's important to try to go when they are in their classroom so there will be less kids around. The facility is fairly clean and up to date. Enough things for my son to play. They even do a 5 minute session of glow in the dark play every hour. Pricing is around $10. I thought this place was pretty good. I was a bit leery when I saw some of the divergent reviews but I needed to find a new spot to take the kid and this one popped up on the map. Generally I'm a fan of this joint because of the relatively big space and the nice variety of activities for toddlers. There are your requisite slides, ball pits and foam blocks that dot the place. I also like how they have some cool techy slides and screens for interactive games. I didn't have any issue with cleaniness but I did notice that despite many parents being around there were still a lot of children that ran around unattended and bumped into other kids. While this isn't necessary unusual it is still annoying since I've seen other places where things are a bit more civilized and less hectic. However, if you want to find a place that constantly engages kids there's plenty of things to do here to keep any toddler on their toes. read more

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter for a play date. I am on the fence about it, as she thoroughly enjoyed herself but I was not a big fan. It looked outdated and dirty in here. The staff was very young and seemed to just be going through the motions rather than actually engaging with the children. A lot of their toys were broken or not working properly, so I didn't like that. I guess you do get what you pay for, but this place has severely declined since they first opened. The main maze with countless different slides, ball "guns", dance areas, etc. It's hard to describe, you have to be here to see. It is for small kids. It is super padded, very safe, you can stay at the table and drink coffee without worrying about your little one. Maskers, please don't come here and ruin businesses with your complaining reviews. I don't get the negative press?! For a place to entertain the younger ones this is Mecca... and clean with lots of hand sanitizer all around!! Since this visit was my first time here I drove around the ShopRite parking lot as there is a sign out front. To my dismay no Catch Air. Well don't turn into ShopRite but continue straight past and make a left into the parking garage. They are all the way down on the left. Upon entering you sign a waiver as expected. They have cubbies for your shoes as this is a sock only establishment. Everyone working the front was pleasant and helpful. When you enter they lock the gates behind you which means free range for the kids. Who doesn't love that kids can't escape? They can climb, bounce, spin, color, throw balls, slide and all over and over again on various contraptions. The expectation is the parent watches their child so if you have a tiny one just keep an eye out. Otherwise let them go crazy. We came here for a birthday party. The room was clean and nicely set up and the staff held up their bargain and accommodated each of the guests with great customer service. Nice! The best part was that they don't kick you out once the party is over. We played for about 1.5 hours after the party ended. It definitely got crowed as the day progressed but never to the point where I felt bothered or that it was too much. There were some bday parties but also those who just came to have fun. Checkin was ridiculous, the interior play areas were cramped, the birthday party situation was rushed and disorganized, there were boxes of stuff under the play areas and honestly I'm surprised this is up to fire code. Oh we also witnessed a physical fight between parents before we even entered. The police had to come. We were here for my nieces 3rd birthday party and I have to say the party situation wasn't great. You have an hour of play and then you get 30 minutes in a pre-setup, by your party employee, room. You can bring your own party supplies and your employee will set it up for you. We brought balloons, decor, snacks and cake for the party portion. They didn't really have anywhere to store the party supplies probably because they have such a quick turnover on parties that they can't keep it in the room where it'll be, so they had us put it in their employee area on the ground and a shelf, where an employee was eating their lunch. Also we spent 20 min untangling our balloons prior to bringing them inside so we had warned our party employee to be careful not to get them near each other as they will tangle easily and guess what.. we had to spend another 20 untangling them again instead of watching my niece play. We felt very rushed the entire time. Also for the birthday parties, they turn off all the lights (of the entire place) without warning and do a dance party and it scares a lot of the younger kids. I will literally never step foot in this establishment ever again and I don't recommend this for anyone. You're better off going to an actual park. I'm surprised it has positive reviews. read more

Decided to bring the kids here based on the pictures. This place is definitely on the pricier side for family activities. They charged for my 15 month old and they charged for both my husband and I. The three of us, were definitely going to minimally use the facility compared to our 5 year old. Based on the rules adults aren't even allowed to "participate in activities with the exception of assisting their own children". So why charge? Prior to even paying for the entrance we had mandatorily sign up (which I would have prefer to opt out of). Once in the play area, I would say the padded rides and swings are an upgrade from the things we had growing up. The main play area is big and has no real age description. Which leads to older kids running around into little kids due to minimal supervision from parents. (Hopefully the parents are on yelp reading our review) The main play area definitely offers a multitude of different interactive games and activities. Our favorite was the large slide. The interactive dance floor, played current big hit songs and was a big hit with our kids. Catch air also offers glow in the dark play periodically. Overall, catch air is a good place for kids about 8 and younger to release energy and run around. I would suggest keeping an eye on your kids as it is important for their safety and the safety of other kids and no staff ever checked any of the play areas. read more

Second time here with grandkids, and they had a blast. It looks closed when you drive up (but for the OPEN sign in window) because the windows are blacked out, I'm guessing for security so people can't look in. I recommend going when it opens (at 10), very few kids there but by 11:30 when we left, it was mobbed. Then it's a little harder to manage the littler kids. There's something for all ages, from the climbing structures, slides, a very cool virtual fishing activity, a sort of ball pit where you throw the balls at things on a screen (really kept them engaged) and some other stuff too (can't quite remember everything). It seems clean, and about half the adults were masked. Security as you leave matches up the stamps on your hands. We would definitely return, but as it's not super huge, would wait until it seems "new" again. Great to have nearby for a nasty weather day. read more

Today is my sons 2nd birthday and I decided to try this place out. We had a amazing time. No crowds and he went down the slides, played in the ball pits, and tried out just about everything. He didn't want to leave! The place was very clean, and there was a employee cleaning throughout our stay! This place is for children, but it can still be dangerous. I climbed up everything and held him with my arms around his chest for the slides. Children run like the flash! I love this place, we drove 40 mins to come here this past Wednesday , 3/31/21, and staff was super friendly and clean, (saw them vacuuming throughout the place) and tried their best to remind patrons to wear their masks, although MANY patrons did NOT wear their masks. They wore them halfway so when they did see staff they pulled it up. And although over load speaker repeatedly said "please wear masks or we will kick you out", unfortunately no one was kicked out. And now I have covid. Please, have security to kick out those who don't wear masks for the safety of others!!! This place is definitely better for bigger kids, 4yr+ Most of the kids run around unsupervised and the little ones get pushed. Some kids are nice enough to say sorry but others just don't realize. There's no designated area for eating. Most parents sneak in snacks that end up littering the floors. Some areas are crumby and there are areas with visible dust bunnies. It's socks only including the bathroom that is filthy. Whoever posted the picture of the bathroom from later date is still relevant to date. It was dark and very loud with various music playing all at the same time. Our kid who's under two really enjoyed herself regardless of my criticisms. It took about 5 minutes for her to realize I was standing there waiting for her when she finally said if I needed some help. The guts? Also, $10 for under two even for a 12 month old who could barely walk and another $10 for adult to sit and watch over his kid? Took my 3 year old today right when they opened at 10am. First time we have been there. She loved it, ran and played all over exploring the different parts of the place for over 2 hours. We may even take her back later tonight for an hour because you can go back all day. Some people I've seen in other places complain about the $20 entry fee for kid plus a parent few of either $5 or $10 but parent fee aside, $20 to let your kid play around indoors at this place is a pretty good deal in my opinion. My biggest gripe and reason I didn't give it 5 stars is 2 fold. First of all some of the parents just let their kids run wild, and I am not talking about the younger kids. Kids that are easily 6...7...8. A little kid is gonna get hurt, even with their parents nearby. Now I'm sure research was done by someone much smarter then myself to decide the ages for a place like this, but a 6/7 year old playing all around with a bunch of 3/4/5 year olds is asking for trouble, especially when the majority, LARGE majority of kids are 5 and under. The age groups don't mix and this is asking for trouble. "Older" kids running up the slides backwards, firing balls full speed in the ball pit at the screen ( you actually are supposed to throw at screen, it's activated for balls to hit it while playing a game on it ) with 2 & 3 year olds in there and torpedoing down the slides.... Just not good. The place should really station an employee by the ball pit, at top or bottom of big slide and be a presence in the main climbing / slide room at all times. 98% of the parents were with their kids and around... It's a few, specifically of some of the older ones that just had no control or could care less that their older kids were just ruining it for the kids it's really supposed to be for. read more

First, I must say the place is very clean, including the restroom. I like this place because you are able to stay with your children throughout the jungle gym ( meaning you can supervise every step they take because you can fit almost everywhere) The place is great for children 3 and up. Smaller children are welcomed but may be too small. The staff is pretty attentive as well, they aren't on their cell phones and constantly cleaning and paying attention to what's going on. If this was overwhelming for me... I can't imagine how a one and half year old would feel ...ugh.... There were two lines (paying customers vs party attendees). Line was definitely shorter for party attendees...You had to cram your shoes and coat in a Tupperware box ugh... \ Ok let's get to the nitty gritty... there were kids running Wild in this place.. No one was saying hey chill out.... Obviously they don't get out much!!! I didn't see anyone supervising... total chaos in this place....They should name this place "Kids Gone Wild". My friends kids were lost in the gym... We didn't let our child out of our sight... Also, it smelled like stinky feet.... I placed my kid on a child sized merry go round and these big kids (11-12 years old) came out of nowhere and jumped on.... I quickly grabbed my kid fearing that she would be harmed. We stayed for about 45 minutes and we had had about enough of this wild party... I understand why they call this place Catch Air... they overcrowd the place so you can't Catch Any Air!! I just had my son's first birthday party here. I am beyond disappointed. Let me start by saying, that the play area is actually kind of cool, children of all ages would enjoy the facilities. And the lone party coordinator we had busted his butt for us the entire time (thank you Tony). Even with that being said I would still give this place 1 star. You walk in to this very unorganized tight space with unsecured 'cubbies' for your belongings. Shoes, coats, bags. All thrown into a tiny cubby. It was snowy outside so all of that snow gets carried in to the entryway. You have to take your shoes off to enter the gym which is understandable but when the entrance is wet is makes for a horrible combination. The gym was very very crowded which was expected for a Sunday in January but there were probably only 6-7 kids working there. And I say kids because I believe the oldest employee was maybe 20, not even. The gym is so crammed I'm shocked that this isn't some sort of fire hazard. A manager told me there's no way they can control the amount of walk ins so they have no idea how many kids/adults are even packed into the place. The gym area seemed as clean as it could possibly be with hundreds of people packed in there but the bathrooms were gross, two stalls had no toilet paper and the bin for diapers was overflowing onto the floor with dirty diapers. Mind you, I walked in just after an employee had finished 'cleaning' the place. I understand my party was large but we had 46 guests and only one 'party planner'. That's ONE single person to greet you, show you were to put bags, presents, shoes etc, to arrange the chairs, and tables, decorate the room, pass out pizza, drinks, ice cream and cake. When I say greet you, I mean you have to wait until someone is free then they go get your planner, finally they greet only the host, no one explains to your guests where to put things or how any of it works when they walk in. You have to track someone down and even then they have no clue. Some of our gifts were put elsewhere. You are only allowed 40 minutes in the party room. Needless to say I had to put my guests to work and worked most of the time I was there as well. Which would be fine if I didn't just pay an arm and a leg to have other people do this for me. Which is another complaint I have. The price. I thought it would be worth it from how the party is described online but you absolutely do NOT get what you pay for. It's expensive and we still brought extra drinks and decorations and paid extra for our adult guests to be able to eat. So the absurd price does not include enough for your guests to eat and drink. 2 slices per child and one small Capri Sun for the children who have been running around for a half an hour. No extra water. The party room is tiny and unorganized. A weird shape and freezing cold. Some guests went and got their coats to wear while they ate their mediocre pizza that I paid extra for. They also have a small speaker in the room but no volume control so you can't hear anything. Useless. I accidentally left without paying the remainder of my bill because of the mayhem at the front desk. I realized later that night and by then had some calls from the place. Finally I tried paying the absurd amount the next day but could not get an actual person to answer so I left a couple messages. I eventually was able to pay and spoke to a supervisor to try and explain my dismay and her solution was to blame the coordinator?! I told her he was the only positive part of my experience but I'm pretty sure she could care less. I might recommend this place if you come in for an hour with one child or so but I would caution all patrons from having any size party at this establishment until they find better management. It is complete and utter chaos. Honestly I could go on and on about the cons of this place. So please save your money and go someplace anyplace else for cheaper. read more
