It has always been my goal to provide the best experience possible, not only for my client, but for the wonderful community they serve as well as their generous benefactors. In pursuit of this goal, Mulino's at Lake Isle has always been my number one choice to host their events! The central location of Mulino's at Lake Isle makes them a desirable choice in terms of convenience. However, there are many other factors which make this venue my top choice. Beginning with the rich decor and attention to detail which exceeds that of other comparable venues, adding to that; the impeccable service delivered by their knowledgeable and friendly staff. All of the above provides the perfect setting for guests to enjoy the superior gourmet cuisine which their top chefs consistently deliver from their list of extensive choices! Banquet managers Linda and John have always gone out of their way to ensure all our needs have been met. Their attention to even the smallest details is second to none! Linda consistently works to customize the menu to my requests for themed events. She is readily available and responds to all communications expeditiously. However, as the groom, I absolutely did not have to endure a 'bridezilla.' Jacqueline and Darryl were the primary factors for this. Jacqueline was at every dress fitting, and the bridal shower. She helped form the strategic plan, but was on point with the smallest of details. The contacts they had for every imaginable service made planning a breeze. Although they are very busy (for obvious reasons), they promptly replied to every email, text message and phone call. They went above and beyond to serve as referee, counselor, mediator, and fixer. I cannot accurately describe how reassuring it is having a go-to (or two) to put out any fires or better yet, prevent them before they started. For brides-to-be, you will not find a better planner with more solid contacts in the industry. For grooms, cut the check! I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer, however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.
