ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
My friend and I threw an event and needed to rent out some chairs. We researched affordable places that were nearby and came across this terrible place.
Beginning with the initial phone call to place an order for the chairs, I was given an attitude when asked how to spell my name, and about the pick-up and drop off dates. Though the phone call was a turn off I decided to still use their services. Throughout the week I kept receiving random phone calls from Abbott asking for different people. This shows how unprofessional they are with client information.
Upon picking up the chairs I wasn't greeted when I walked in the store. There was a guy laying down on the chair and a lady talking on the phone. VERY SLOPPY. After she's done and off the phone I told her that I came to pick up the chairs, she then asked the guy who was laying down to put the chairs in the jeep for me. He gets up and SUCKS HIS TEETH while putting his work shirt over his T-shirt. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
The chairs were good enough for the event. My mother did me a favor and returned the chairs for me since I work during their hours of operations. I forgot to warn her about the rudeness of the people who own the place so she had her own experience to share. When dropping off the chairs she stated that one of the guys there was being very rude to her. When she arrived, she waited 10 minutes to be addressed since the worker was on the phone, then after being off the phone he asked her to verify my identification which she did, but while making smart remarks about my name. My mother demanded my deposit back, but the guy stood there with the deposit in his hand out of spite. She had to approach him and take the receipt and money out of his hand to end this ridiculous confrontation.
AGAIN, though their prices are affordable, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Unless you want to deal with RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and CONFRONTATIONAL individuals. read more
