We make a whole weekend big deal out of it with an Airbnb rental and the works. For this years excursion and weekend getaway we choose ONMAKE AN NYC/New Jersey out of the weekend and had a blast. Amazing experience and loved coming here. They also have other times of the year for like example Christmas themes as well ! I came here for then Halloween fest with friends and loved it! The actors are so interactive. The setting of horror and set up was on point. There was a thrill and scare at every corner and turn! Truly, it was a ball of laughs, spooks and scares throughout the experience. I had a ball. There is a gift shop, eating space/options and good photo ops while here. Definitely worth a visit. We had a private room, which allowed the children to interact and play together. They started off with tattoos and coloring while kids were brought to another area to make teddy bears in groups of four or five. Lately, you go to a birthday party, and the kids are all just running off on their own and not playing together. Here, the activities got the children to play together, which I find so important. It was absolutely awesome! I also liked the quality of the teddy bears, clothing, and backpacks the kids got. I also can't say enough nice things about the service and staff. They were incredibly helpful in every possible way and accommodating. From the moment we walked in everything just worked seamlessly. There's also such a calm vibe that it is pleasant for the parents hanging out. The party area is open and spacious so everyone felt very comfortable. About three different families that participated in our party liked it so much that they're looking to do their kids party there as well. This place deserves even more than five stars... The Rutherford library was out this year and I scored some awesome cookbooks for a dollar. I also snagged some fantastic homemade candles. I love the vendors that have dog treats and clothing, I always grab some sweet potato and chicken treats. Down to the food - the best bang for your buck is Red Basil. They always have a huge stand with 5 dollar options and 3 dollar appetizers to sample. So so tasty! Such a good way to try different things on their menu too. Materas on Park always has some fantastic pasta dish to go, this year they had penne vodka in a paper cone so you can walk and enjoy your carbs. What more can we ask for? The Cuban spot and Suprema also always cook up some delicious treats. You have your standard ice cream truck, hot dogs and typical fair food but stray outside the box and try some of the awesome cuisines they offer on Park Ave. The one bad thing is parking, after 11 am it's a MAD house. Just give yourself a good half an hour to be patient and find a spot.

The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable, especially the people running the special activities. Definitely worth visiting and one of those places you can come back to multiple times. If you're short on time, I'd recommend looking at the schedule beforehand and making a loose itinerary so you don't miss the things you want to see.

She takes the Pre-K 4 class which consists of ballet and tap....to be exact....ballet starts promptly at 1115am and 1150am they do tap and ends at 12pm. I kinda wish it was a bit longer and use a full hour but I guess being a 4 yr old maybe 45 min is enough. My daughter has fun with it so that's all that matters. The parking is off street....so bring 50 cents for the meters. I don't have much of a problem looking for parking.....so no complaints there. What's nice is if we miss a class then we can make it up on Fridays....we call and ask to make sure first if they can accommodate her. It's at 545p-630p so perfect after work for me. Will who works at the front desk is very friendly. The tuition can be placed on your credit card and can be automated every month. Kim the owner is very nice and answers all questions. They also offer parents night out from 5p-9p on weekends...this happens once in awhile....looks like it's monthly so far..it's $25 per child. Also, we can't watch the kids the entire time HOWEVER.....there's a curtain and it's hard to see BUT they do have a TV and alternate the rooms on saturdays....so every other sat I can watch my daughter in her class.....They really need to get another TV or maybe split the screens to watch both classes.

The line moved quickly and the actors entertained us the whole time we waited, making it fun. Once inside, they come from every direction and it's sometimes impossible to predict it or see it coming. The haunted houses built inside the attraction were pretty spooky, but the doll maker was by far the one that creeped us out the most. Fun night getting into the Halloween spirit. Got there before 5pm to avoid long lines, sat back, relaxed, chilled in the store, got on line at 6pm, and was inside at the expected time of 6:40pm. Could have arrived later than 5pm without issue, but since parking normally sucks a huge dong figured get there early enough just in case. Staff checks you in, gives you a wrist band, then you get on the hay ride over to the orchard. Get there wait in line, finally they cut off the wrist band and you go "inside". Since there are little to no indoor mazes haunts come from every angle. Possible to be caught up in someone else's scare and totally miss a creep running up on you. Vibe is eerie enough but still slightly flat. Creeps keep on coming in wave after wave. Even Dennis the dead security guard lets you know no position in line is safe from scare. Overall nice attempt, a little lame, but nice considering it's almost entirely outdoors. Small things to improve on; every employee should be in costume, don't want to see a well dressed attractive woman guiding guests inside the haunt when Shovelman the Ugly Ghoul is also doing the same. Interested to see what they have in store for next year.
