This place is fun. It's for all ages and anyone can have fun here. It is best to come with 2 or more people. It's not great to go solo as no one will take your picture doing poses unless you have a tripod, but who even has time for that?

Being able to…read morefinally go to a museum where you can touch and draw and just be immersed in the experience of art is so much fun! The Arte is actually a really great exhibit. I've been to one that has the slightest edge on the Arte but only because the Arte is actually quite small in comparison. I do wish they had a few more rooms for you to go in especially for it being in NY you would think it would be overwhelmingly huge but nope. We bought the cafe experience with our tickets and it honestly was a little blah. It's only $5 so I won't take away a star for that but the tables had interactive art on them so that was a bonus. The cons are once you enter the cafe you can't go back through that's it! Tour over! So make sure you do all the things before you get there! I do give it a 5 out of 5 because it's still really cool and fun to just go have the experience!

You go from room to room, and the rooms are big enough so that even when there's a lot of people there's still plenty of room. The rooms are also dark and mirrored, and I saw a couple people hit the wall. If you're into Instagram and whatnot, you'll love this place. Otherwise this place is pretty meh. The price could also stand to be half of what it is.

Also at the price of admissions every Guest should be offered a ballon upon leaving. As for the Staff- it seems as their only concern is to process your payment. It's also obvious they do not want you to preview the space before entering. They are also are quick to give mumbled directions, and are inattentive to guest and seem to have no experience or patience dealing with groups and young people. Finally, there is no direct way to contact/speak to anyone from the iMuseum as their phone number is inactive and there is no immediate response from their contact form or instagram messenger. Regardless of all of this, the only positive thing I can say about the iMuseum is that its rooms are really cool to take pictures, but I do wonder if they are regularly wiped downed and cleaned as it's a touch experience.

This exhibit, curated by his family from their personal collection, is a colorful multi-media feast for the eyes. It not only boasts lesser known or unknown works, but large works that take up entire walls. One of his last paintings, a gift to his father, is also on site. Some of his more overtly political pieces are there. There are recreations of his home living room and dining room, as well as his studio spaces. There are multiple video interviews/testimonies with his family members that share who he really was. What he meant to the people who really knew him. I was touched by the address/note book carried by his father with his goals written in it. I teared up at reading about how his father fought to protect Basquiat's legacy for his entire life. I also love how music and the 80s are woven into this space. There is a very cool "club" setup with TVs playing 80s music and showing candids from his clubbing days. It was the perfect end. I really loved this exhibit, and I'm glad I went. I paid the huge markup fee for the "skip the line," but I got there first (I arrived at 9:45 for a 10 AM time). A line did form behind me. The flow was pretty good and not too crowded. Please make your online reservation beforehand.

TEP deserves more than 5 stars for the amazing start to finish service we experienced on our 7 day…read moreadventure to Peru to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. From the time we signed up, to the time we boarded the plane to return home, TEP took care of every detail. We commented amongst ourselves that we felt like kids on vacation with our parents, as we didn't have to worry about any of the details - just show up and follow Neptali (our guide). From airport pickup in Cusco in luxury Mercedes vans where we were promptly served Coca tea to help with the altitude acclimation, to group dinners at amazing Peruvian restaurants, to historical tours and education on the history of the Inca - everything was covered and taken care of for us. And that was all before the amazing trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Of course the trek itself was the highlight of the trip, and although it was extremely challenging for us, TEP's unbelievable attention to detail did not fail us on the trail. With nearly a 2:1 porter to trekker ration, our every need was met on the trail. We dined like kings every meal, and were consistently amazed with the quality (and nutritional appropriateness) of the food our chef and sous chef were able to put out with minimal kitchen conveniences. The thing I felt was most special about TEP's approach to this trip was the focus on gaining a cultural and historical appreciation for what we were experiencing. Every step along the way, we learned about the native people of Peru, the Inca civilization, the many ruins we came across, the vegetation we saw and how it was and is used, and the history of modern Peru. It was the trip of a lifetime, and have the help of The Explorer's Passage made it so much more enjoyable, and so much more memorable. The value of what they provide is amazing for the cost....rather, for the investment. I highly recommend them!
