I wanted to do a "special" dance with my son. The dance would start off as a regular slow mother-son wedding dance and then we would have surprised the guests with kicking the dance into something more lighthearted - a choreographed dance filled with a compilation of old "skool" songs and a variety of 80's dances such as the Snake and the Wop. Jose was awesome. He fabulously choreographed the dance for my son and I, then ever-so-patiently taught it to us during our one-on-two lessons. In the end, I could sense my son was a bit overwhelmed with trying to learn the dances while simultaneously planning his wedding with his bride-to-be so I scrapped the dance, telling my son we would do a regular mother-son dance together. It ended up being amazing since he incorporated the 2-step, and spins Jose had previously taught him for his wedding dance into our Mother-son dance. I've already inquired about the other classes that are taught here. They teach all different kinds on different days. I definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back to learn more.

It's been engaging given us time to bond, and Jose the owner personally prepared us for our wedding dance that wowed our guests and was such a nice touch to our wedding. We are so grateful for this experience and highly recommend this place!

Their passion for dance and theatre is felt the moment you walk through the door but what stands out more than anything is their love for the students of Broadway Bound. We all felt more like family than friends. After I left Broadway Bound I not only had many fond memories but I had skills that helped me for my future. I was able to use what I learned at Broadway Bound as a base as I started to compete for the Miss America Organization where I won talent numerous times and enough scholarship to pay off most of my student loans. Even now Broadway Bound is there for me when I need to rent space for coaching contestants hoping to compete in pageants. They are truly as reliable as family! I love Broadway Bound, Mrs. Kastle, Adam and Shevaun for always being supportive and dedicating themselves to their students.

They are a wonderful family-owned and run dance school in Lyndhurst, NJ. They are so sweet and attentive to every child's individual needs... it's a very homey spot... that's one of their really nice qualities. The reason we started coming here was because they don't only focus on dance, they also offer theater, voice, and piano, which is awesome to have all in one place! They also offer summer camps, which is also very cool... We came here for their Hip Hop, Musical Comedy, Piano, and Voice! We've been super happy with them all. I definitely recommend Broadway Bound

An actual ballet **school**. This is not the place to send your kid if you really don't care about…read moredance education. GSB is not about sequins, make up, competitions, or making kids dance to cutesy or age-inappropriate music. This is where you send your daughters and sons (Yes! Boys can do ballet, too!!) if you (and they) really want to study the art of ballet. Students are placed in levels based on skill, not age. The teachers are former professional dancers and amazing educators who know how to teach the fundamentals of ballet to young children and advanced techniques to older students. The Rutherford school has two studios, a small -- but well-loved -- living room-esque waiting area for parents, and a changing room for students. The no-frills annual concert allows students at all levels to show their families what they've learned in class, and everyone gets to take a bow. Pros: -Solid ballet education -Close to the 76, 190 buses and the Rutherford NJ Transit train station -Hand-me-downs available for students who can't afford new gear (or forget their shoes at home...) -Higher-level students can join the Youth Company and perform in the annual Nutcracker. -Dunkin Donuts is up the block Cons: -Parking (metered)

Ms. Vanessa offers a great program for all ages and all levels. The studio is spacious and welcoming and the price is unbeatable. Vanessa was so sweet and fun! Since the 5 of us comprised most of the class (special thanks to the regular who graciously let us join in for the evening). We had a great time learning a few different moves for each part of the body during the hour long class, and putting a few moves together for a choreographed number!. And while we all felt a little nervous -- or confused when there was a bit of coordination involved-- Vanessa put us at ease, reminding us to relax and have fun! We lucked out in a way-- because we all could only do it on a Wednesday night, we actually attended the regularly scheduled class. But I saw on the website that there is a private party option. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT! Great way to have a lot of fun with a little festive friskiness! PERFECT for a bachelorette party, adult birthday party, or basically anything else you can think of. I'm pretty sure I want to start scheduling regular parties with Vanessa. She's really that fantastic. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the class is getting moved to Fridays starting in November. I would love to return (totally worth the 45 minute drive!), but I work on Friday nights! All the more reason to try to schedule the private parties I guess!

I wish this venue was closer to me, I'd be there for every hardcore show they put on. For this show there was no barricade; I don't know if that varies from one show to another, but I was happy to see the lack of a barrier when we walked in. The security was just how you want them to be at this kind of show: present and there if needed, but not getting in anyone's way or preventing people from dancing or stagediving. There are two bars in the main area of the Black Box, one at the back, one on the side. And then merch was sold upstairs, and there's another bar there. Snack machines, and candy is also sold at at least one of the bars. I paid $7 for a 12 oz. can of Miller Lite or $9 for Corona, I'm not sure what size that was, 11 or 12 oz. I guess, one of those weird tall, skinny cans. The sound quality here is excellent. They had some lights going on during the bands' sets, but nothing too showy or intrusive. Really, just all around top-quality in terms of sound, stage setup, production. All the employees I encountered were very friendly. This was a pretty big crowd; I don't know if it was sold out or not, but the place was packed by the time AN went on. Sometimes staff can be unpleasant or just generally serious, handling this many people in a theater size venue, but these folks all seemed happy to have us there. I love the Black Box at Williams Center and hope to be back soon.

The space apparently hosted everything from movies to musical acts to comedy and more. The "Black Box" room was an intimate, open rectangle next to a more formal theater space with tiered row seating. The sound quality was spectacular, and it was nice to be right in the middle of the action. I would definitely see another show there.
