The recent visit to Bounce U was much pleasant to me compared to previous ones. The play areas have improved a lot. They no longer adults on the inflatables. Both sections have bigger and larger ones now. The birthday party was much more festive this time around, with food, cake cutting, dance and giveaways. They also added some nice arcade games. Kids get to play it at the end of the party. Slots machine allows retries until there's a winner. Additional points can be added to the card. I have had their pizzas three times, never found them tasty enough. They do not allow outside food, so it is difficult to serve better food to the guests. read more

Super fun indoor playground for the kids. If you're looking to tire your kids out and take a break from chasing them, THIS is the spot for you. Recently, we attended a kids' birthday party here and we were pleasantly surprised at how big this indoor playground was because it doesn't look like much on the outside. When we first arrived, we had to sign a waiver for our kids and then we were led to the start of the birthday party in the 1st room, which was a big space filled with bouncy castle structures, including a big bouncy slide. We spent about 20 minutes there before we were whisked away to a 2nd room that was even BIGGER with more bouncy castles and slides. After about the same amount of time spent in both playground rooms, it was finally lunch time where the employees led the party to a pantry type room where food was served and the kids could do some dancing. Honestly, not sure if food was part of the party or it had to be ordered from the outside, but it consisted of pizza for the kids and sandwiches for the parents. Drinks were a bit scarce though as they were poured from large containers. Overall, nice spot for kids' parties in a quiet area of Paramus and they have their own private parking lot too. read more

We had an amazing experience celebrating our child's 5th birthday at BounceU in Paramus! The kids had an absolute blast in both bounce rooms -- they couldn't stop smiling and laughing the entire time. Afterward, we moved to the party room where they enjoyed pizza, cake, and even a fun little dance party! The party assistants were fantastic -- super friendly, organized, and great with the kids. As a parent, it was such a relief to be able to actually enjoy the party instead of worrying about coordinating activities or cleanup. They truly took care of everything for us from start to finish. As the host, it's the worst when you have to rush right before your party and miss half of it to finish up. He even added a couple finish touches to our Unicorn Theme party that was VERY nice and generous of him. Thank you again John!! The staff at BounceU are very nice and helpful. Our hosts were Chloe and Ellie -- we were lucky to have them. Anything we needed they were right there to help us. During the food portion of the party they served all the kids their pizza and drinks. They even continued to check to see who needed more. It was the best, as the host I could actually eat! Haha. Side note: they provided the kids with pizza, drinks & ice cream cake -- all in the package and tasted very good! I did want to also note that they provide favors. I was so pleased to see it was provided in the package. As a host sometimes it's hard to find favors/goodie bags to give to the kids. John even allowed me to pick up the favors that I choose so I was able to personalize them for the kids of our party. It must be noted, it was great to see that all of the different options giveaway favors are sealed; the goodie bags, glow in the dark cups, sports cups, etc... I choose the sports cups option and all the parents loved it for their kids. They aren't flimsy cups. They can actually be reused everyday. So your kids aren't getting junk that you will end up throwing away after. Such a bonus!! The place in general is VERY fun, VERY clean & VERY sanitized. They make sure they check everyone's temperatures at the door. They make sure everyone gets sanitized prior to going in as well. Place itself is decent enough for what it is, but the 1-star review goes to their goofy pricing and definitions of the word toddler. They advertised an event with pricing of $15 for toddlers, $30 for kids. Much to my shock, my 2 year old is in their world considered an actual "kid," despite the CDC, the pediatric community, all daycares, schools, and most sane humans knowing that this age is specifically referred to as toddler. Per the email I received from them, only 1 year olds count as "toddlers." What makes it even more comical is that their equipment - per their own website - is recommended for ages 2+. They even make reference to "young toddlers," which I guess they must define as 9 months old, on the site. Such a pathetic and sad money grab on their part. If you want to charge everyone $30, just say so instead of redefining universally accepted language to meet your terms (which aren't clarified anywhere on your website or marketing emails). read more

My kids have enjoyed Bounce U of Paramus on a few occasions. The location is not that kids, but all of the kids there seem to always have lots of fun. In April we attended a holiday function there. The kids got to play in the bouncing rooms, and then they went to the party room. Once they were in the party room they enjoyed some pizza, and got to meet the Easter bunny. It was a lot of fun, and my daughter really enjoyed herself. This past weekend I attended a birthday party there. The kids once again seemed to have lots of fun, as usual, but the event seemed to be understaffed. They should really have an older person managing the staff. The staff was trying their best, but could use more direction. I'm sure I'll be here many times again in the future with 2 young children. read more

0 stars for cleanliness. This place is filthy. I imagine it is fun which is why I booked a party but could not go through booking a party here. Make sure you go visit the location beforehand. 1. The carpet looked like it hasn't been cleaned all year. 2. The Air in the bounce rooms was so stagnant no ventilation- I had gotten an asthmatic reaction when walking in. It felt like a cesspool of germs. 3. The balloons in the room looked half blown up and with dust I think they reuse them. I booked a 3 hour party with all the works totaling $1800 and couldn't imagine not breathing the whole time. 4. The bathroom was disgusting with the overwhelming smell of urine and crap. 5. Most of the arcade games don't work. You will be sharing the facility with 3 other parties if they are fully booked you just rotate rooms so not 100% private. 6. The manager at the location admitted that they do not do any cleaning between parties (not even a wipe down of surfaces in the bounce room). But asked if I wanted they could clean the bathroom before I got there-something they should do anyway. I couldn't even breathe in there, I decided to cancel and lost my $500 deposit- was offered $100 refund and never got it. I was stuck finding another location last minute for my party with $500 tied to this business. Gross all around. Their manager Gina was so nice and totally understanding. She wished she could return at least half of my money because she also agreed with me. Xtreme energy in englewood is 1000x better and super Fun. read more

We were invited to a 7 year old Birthday Party tonight. All I can say is dirty - dirty - dirty. I used the woman's room - toilets (both) had pads floating - Toilet Paper on Floor. They make a stink on 6 feet and masks, yet they put all the kids jackets into a bin. In the initial Arcade area - 2 of the games were broken. There was food stuck to handles. The 2nd area - the inflatables were OK but a little too young for 7 year olds. There was a hurricane machine (like you see at Liberty Science Center) - the front door plastic was cracked. Broken. No place for the parents to gather and sit. The people running the party looked like they needed to get a "fix". I don't know who provided the food, but I was so nauseous at the last phase I stood for the most part outside. Nothing against the parents and as far as experience in doing / going to these parties - I think I'm well informed. I have two 16 year olds and two 13 year olds on top of the 7 year old, I'm pretty seasoned with events. Also - no parking and while you can park by the Montessori school - ZERO lighting, so as a mom with young kid - I'm grateful I found street parking out front. AWFUL. read more

Words can't begin expressing the level of appreciation we have towards the staff that assisted with my grandson party this weekend. The staff was phenomenal they kept the children interest throughout it the entire time. My grandson experience was one that he will always remember as a matter of fact he is still talking about it today. All of the staff were extremely friendly-helpful and most of all kind. I appreciated the WSU the party end with the just expressing for me to say my good-byes then we could handle the final bill. This was by far the best $ 1000.00 I spend on a child party! No headaches no stress just kindness and fun throughout the entire event. We had our daughters 8th bday party 12/30/21. It was literally the easiest thing. They cover EVERYTHING! Set up & clean up - (what more can you ask for?) A week prior I confirmed cake theme (on an ice cream cake), headcount, beverage choice, & favor choice--- all included ! At this time I added different fun party add ons like the super cute bubble machine, balloon drop, cotton candy machine, dance party & my favorite "clix pix" which they take the photos & little videos for you .. I love the variety of food options available to add for adults which includes some ethnic dishes if needed. Even during this Covid pandemic they made our daughters birthday feel fun & memorable. They do frequent sanitation & everyone maintained proper PPE - face masks. As always, unlike other party places the space your party is in is ONLY your guests. I really liked using the online invites through their site, although a few people said it went to their junk mail.. I was very happy with the enthusiasm of the party staff, I think I had Diego and Giovanna .. they were so friendly with the kids and were so efficient with the details of making sure everything was taken care of.. I like the extras that were offered and took advantage of the dance party, balloon drop, bubbles, pucker powder .. I would suggest doing all of these options for a fun party.. although the kids really had a great time just bouncing around and getting a good workout! I gave my son Cameron his 2nd birthday party here this evening. Everything was smooth from beginning to end. Our party pro's Gianna & TJ were so sweet, attentive to the kids and just amazing overall. Everything was clean, we were prompted by our party pro's to sanitize with hand sanitizer as my group moved from room to room and I also witnessed Gianna cleaning/sanitizing the bounce equipment with a machine when we were finished in the play area. Play time was followed by a decorated room w/ pizza, drinks, favors, icecream cake & music. We all felt welcome, comfortable, safe and most important of all kids had a blast of fun. Just had a terrible customer service experience. I called in to ask for a credit because we would not make it in time for our reservation (I had already called earlier in the day to ask about details of a credit in the event we could not make it). The person that picked up was a manager and told me to please hold. When she returned to the phone I said "please disregard we are going to rush in there but we'll be 10-15 min late." The manager responded "no it's ok we were going to call you to give you a full refund anyway because no one is here today and it would've just been you and your four kids." I was surprised at this but thanked her for the courtesy of giving me a refund and being honest about the place being empty. She puts me on hold again and comes back to say that she actually cannot give me a refund and can only give me a store credit. I asked to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager but that she would transfer me to another one. I explained to the new manager what the previous person had said and she restated that she cannot issue a refund. At that point I said ok please go ahead and issue me a credit for future use and she said "ok" and hung up the phone on me. I called back and the same person answered. I told her what she did was really unprofessional and asked her how could she just hung up after the experience I just had and since she didn't even give me the details of what a credit is. Just had a birthday for our daughter there and it was terrible. Besides all the extra fees they didn't explain anything. They told us we have people taking pictures which I thought was great since I wouldn't have to keep my phone out. The pictures were horrible and they sent me 110 from another party. On top of that they charged us an extra 25 dollars for those pics. They overcharged for horrible pizza. They put machines in one of the rooms you have to pay for. The oldest employee working is maybe 22. Don't have your kids party here. read more

I was invited for a birthday party and although noted you had to arrive on time. The party was scheduled for two hours I arrived 15 to 20 minutes late. Now they schedule multiple parties in the same day. Which means your party is timed. So you get 30 minutes in the first playroom, 30 minutes in the next playroom, and 45 minutes to cut the cake. You will be rushed out of the room by the staff. Although two hours may seem sufficient when it's broken down into 30 minutes each playroom you tend to have cranky kids because they want to stay in the first room. It would be better if the parties were hosted in one room for the duration of the time then proceed to the cake room instead of bouncing around from one room to another. Their party packages are kind of pricey and if you want more time the additional hour as costly as well. Not sure if I would ever celebrate my kids birthday at this location sorry read more

This place gets 4 stars cause the kiddo thought it rocked and the staff is awesome. My husband and I took our two year old here and she had a blast. We went on a Tuesday for open bounce family night. The 2 hours is broken up between 2 room- you spend the first hour in the first room, then switch to the other room for the remainder. My daughter was hesitant to get involved at first but the girls working that night did a great job with making her feel welcome and excited to bounce. They were excellent with all the kids there. My husband and I had to literally drag my daughter out of there after the 2 hours. Word of advise... Make sure you wear layers so that you can take clothes off as need be. It's really hot in there!! Also, bring a pair of socks even if you don't plan on bouncing. I threw a pair in my purse even though I didn't think i was gonna bounce and I'm glad I did because I couldn't resist playing basketball in the pen. I felt like lebron James :) read more

Okay so l'm posting about my experience from beginning to end. When i first decided to make the call , the customer service over the phone was amazing. They broke down everything to me . The goodie bags, the treats, the order they preform their parties. I mean they were very thorough. So we booked. I got sent over a manual with my free invitations for me to mail out, they also set me up with a evite.com page for his party, which made it o much easier for me. A week prior to the party they called to verify all the details and make sure we were happy with everything. When we arrived they place was great. at the entrance are coin games the kids can play. They also have an instructional video for the children to watch and the take care of everything. They have a bin for the presents and coats. They took inventory of all the goodie bags and cups and candies i brought in. -NOTHING WITH PEANUTS ALLOWED -NO CHIPS ALLOWED They escorted us in to the first play room which was amazing. Everything was clean and functional. Nothing broken.after about 30- 45 minutes they brought us in to the next play room which was huge. All the adults played with the children in the bouncy games. No one was left out! Lol them later on they had his birthday room set up. They had me hold my son back so he could make a special entrance while his friends cheered him on. They had cake/pizza/juice/soda. it was great with fun music in the background and dance videos for them to dance to. They took me to the back to make sure they set up the goody bags and cups to my liking. After that the handed out the HUGE inflatable hammers and the masks i bought and the cake. They sang happy birthday and we all had a blast. After the party ended we paid up. Now for an extra 20$ They give you the photos taken by the staff with their cameras which is great! Fun place for kids and adults. Another word for this place - a birthday factory. Lots of kids but makes you feel your party is the only one happening. They keep it under control by having the first b-day group in one room and then move us to another room after the other group has exited. The first room has the boxing ring, football throw, an infant/toddler bounce maze and a fairly steep slide ...this slide was impressively fast for me....got a good arm burn so when you go on this slide, I would fold my arms on this one. The second room has the bounce house with all sorts of balls and more inflatable slides which are less scary than the one in the first room. It's not just inflatables, they have those Little Tikes cars that kids can walk and ride if the kids want a break from the bouncy stuff. read more

We just had a party at this place. I don't think they know how to host kids parties. No simple customer service like meet and greet guests or just to make sure what kids belong to which party. No any special instructions or interaction with the kids, kids just jumping around, no any games or activities and the staff do not pay attention to the kids or what they doing. Place is dirty and smelly. There is no place for adults to put the jackets or leave other staff, you have to carry all around. When we came to eat for the 2nd half of the party, no one asked kids if they want to have extra slice of pizza, cake or juice. Kids played one game with ball, staff were just turning on and off music, not even looking how kids are playing or what they playing. Some kids don't like to dance, so no one paid attention to them, they were sitting alone. Adults had to beg for water for coffee machine. Unfortunately when we spoke with management, I don't think they care or understood what we meant or will do any changes, just because there is no other places in this area. Very disappointed with our experience at BounceU. We took our son there on a Saturday. Turns out there was a birthday party going on and the main playroom was closed to non party guests. No one at the front desk mentioned this to us and they just took our money and had us go in through the side / back entrance. As soon as we got inside, one of the employees yelled at my 4 year old son for not taking off his shoes. Mind you, the shoe rack was on the opposite side of this room, this was our first time there and turns out we went in through the Exit.. In this room there were only 3 bounce house apparatuses and only one of them was fun. When we tried to go in to the main playroom that's when we finally learned about the birthday party. FYI The main playroom has 7-8 bounce house apparatuses compared to the 3 in our room. After 10 minutes we left. We really wish someone told us about the birthday party up front. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the manager noticed we were leaving after only being there for 10 minutes and came over to us. She talked to my son, gave him a baggie full of party favors, cotton candy, and a voucher to come back for free on a weekday. It was a great gesture on her part. read more
