Hiya Pal - Best bathroom ever complete with diapers organized and labeled by size

This is the perfect place for children and babies age 4 and younger. The owner of this place really…read morehas an eye for detail that is rare for an indoor playspace. First off she provides bibs hanging in the eating area to use as we all know kids get food everywhere on them at this age. The bathroom has several sizes of attached seat covers so newly trained kids can easily use the toilet, a changing table- and most of all, free diapers organized and labeled by different sizes! This is unheard of but such a lifesaver. Now for the playspace itself. It's new, clean, well laid out with lots of options including a book room, painting and drawing table, slide with climber, dolls, play kitchen and various other small movement items. The painting area is also very well organized and labeled. It's never been too crowded and I've gone twice on weekends. Only bummer is lack of parking but you can park in the Burger King Parking lot if there are no spots behind the building. Reservations recommended but not required.

Came here because it was way too hot to be outside and I needed my toddler to burn some energy lol…read more I loved that they didn't have a million rules -- you can leave and come back, bring your own snacks, and everything felt very convenient. The play area itself was very clean. We went on a Sunday and it was super chill, not packed at all. Paid $27 because I needed socks. There were two men and one girl working at the front. They were attentive to any kids attempting to leave ( mine included lol). The girl was constantly cleaning, organizing, and restocking the entire time. The men, however, were mostly on their phones, and the reason it bothered me was because the place was nearly empty and the bathroom clearly needed attention. One of them even heard me mention it on the way out and still didn't bother to check it. If my toddler had been potty trained, I honestly would've left to take her somewhere else to use the bathroom. I was really disappointed because when you're serving children, cleanliness should be a priority throughout the entire establishment. If the place had been packed or they seemed understaffed, I probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to mention it, but in this case it just didn't make sense.

The day I came, 2 children had gotten injured & the lady at the front made sure they were both okay. One kid had blood gushing out of his head, and another got bumped in the face & suffered from swelling & bruising. I also noticed that the lady at the front (possibly the owner?) kept reorganizing the blocks, balls, chairs & tables, which was nice to see. Another kid got a nose bleed & she cleaned it up immediately. The bathroom is clean, which is a big plus. My 2 kiddies played for 5+ hours, we went out to the food court, ate & returned. It was a day well spent. Overall, Go PlayLand at Paramus Park Mall is a great place, for all day play; it's clean/ well-kept, I'll definitely be back.

Energy in Pinebrook was one of the most disappointing and tone‑deaf experiences I've had at a kids'…read moreplay space. It's wildly overpriced -- over $55 for a 2‑year‑old and a 5‑year‑old -- and the space is tiny for what they charge. The real issue was the environment and the staff's attitude. We walked into music blasting at a level that made it impossible to hear the person at the front desk. My toddler has anxiety and mild sensory needs, and even after I explained that, the woman at the front shrugged and said the manager "likes it loud during camp." Mind you, the camp kids weren't dancing, they were coloring. The woman finally lowered it a few notches, rolled her eyes and then walked away. The volume was still blaring. When I asked for a refund, the dismissiveness continued. The manager told me to put headphones on my 2‑year‑old instead of simply lowering the volume. I said to her that at this point, I'm so put off, that I just want my money back, especially bc I just paid over $55. The manager cut me off mid‑sentence to justify their pricing, "Yah, for 2 kids," to which I responded, "Yah, exactly." The woman at the front desk tried to delay the refund again because she was "busy."I refused to let them brush me off and demanded that I get receipt of the refund before going out the door. For a children's play space, refusing a basic sensory accommodation and treating parents like an inconvenience is unacceptable. This place caters to a very specific crowd and makes it clear who they're willing to accommodate -- and who they're not.
