Mind you, the camp kids weren't dancing, they were coloring. The woman finally lowered it a few notches, rolled her eyes and then walked away. The volume was still blaring. When I asked for a refund, the dismissiveness continued. The manager told me to put headphones on my 2‑year‑old instead of simply lowering the volume. I said to her that at this point, I'm so put off, that I just want my money back, especially bc I just paid over $55. The manager cut me off mid‑sentence to justify their pricing, "Yah, for 2 kids," to which I responded, "Yah, exactly." The woman at the front desk tried to delay the refund again because she was "busy."I refused to let them brush me off and demanded that I get receipt of the refund before going out the door. For a children's play space, refusing a basic sensory accommodation and treating parents like an inconvenience is unacceptable. This place caters to a very specific crowd and makes it clear who they're willing to accommodate -- and who they're not.

When we arrived, everything was up and running as if it were daytime. All the games, rides and attractions were in service. I rode Go Karts for the first time in yearrrs and I actually came in first place. Me! That was dope. The BIG FUN though was all the water rides. Lazy River, pool tubing and the main pool were all open and full of people ready for a great time. We were treated to a DJ who understood the crowd assignment and shoutout to the most wonderful staff. All employees on this night were in a great mood and they gave party vibes too. The promoters didn't over sell this event, so crowds and lines weren't a problem at all. I had such a blast that I wasn't even mad about getting my phone wet. I'm looking forward to going back to The Funplex for another After Dark night out. I thought they were gonna shortchange us but that didn't happen. We were given the whole experience. Good stuff!

'Shows' such as gun fights, happen on Main Street regularly. The little kids where having a blast! Parking is in a dirt lot and on the grass. A parking attendant will guide you to your spot. Handicap parking is directly by the entrance, also dirt/gras. Purchase tickets on site or through their website. They offer senior, military and first responder discounts. They also have group rates, host school groups and private events. Main Street is to your right as you enter. A wide dirt road with wooden structures on each side. Here you'll find a general store, trading post, candy shop, saloons, public restrooms, blacksmith, and lots of wild west and early settler memorabilia. For example, costumes from the Buffalo Bill show, native artifacts, weapons, horse tack, barber shop items, tools and much, much more. There are several coin operated kiddie rides along the sidewalks too. To the left of the entrance is the train station, Native American village and a chuck wagon and prairie schooner. We ate at the Golden Nugget Saloon, the only food option open during our visit. Walk-up counter service and a full bar. They have a stage for live music and public restrooms. The menu is mostly chicken prepared in a variety of ways, grilled cheese, panini, Soda, iced tea, coffee & tea. Food is brought to your table when ready. Bus your own table. There is one recycling bin by the bar- the only one I saw in the park. My vegetable panini was pretty good. Fresh, grilled veg with cheese melted over all in a panini press. I ordered a hot tea, which seemed to confuse everyone, but they sorted it out. This venue has been around since the 50's and for me, some of the 'wear' adds to the authenticity of feeling like a wild west town. I would not bring my kids to watch 'shoot outs', but there were plenty of kids and most were enjoying the shows and recreating shoot-outs among themselves. Until the caps in their cap guns ran out. You can buy those in the general store along with hats and t-shirts among other things. Be aware, the gun shots during shows are loud and there is a good deal of shouting during these recreations. If your child does not like loud noises check the show time schedule and plan to be away from Main St. during those shows. At the end of Main St., behind the saloon, you'll find mini-golf, panning for gems and a few animals (you cannot touch or feed them). You can walk through the woods to the woodsmans cottage, school house, Native American village and chuck wagon. There are staff members all around. There are several picnic tables on the grounds, many under the trees with trash barrels nearby. Corn hole is available between the stage coach and lariat tossing lessons. All in all we enjoyed the venue. The staff were engaging and funny. I very much enjoyed the small museum displays set up as store fronts such as the Stage Coach office or Barber for example. The coach ride is a fun experience that isn't available in many places. The train was a tight fit for the adults, but fun none the less.

Once she is crawling I think this is a really worthwhile activity, especially for an indoor activity idea when it's cold out. The space has lots of great activities like slides, climbing walls, rocking toys and tunnels. A single session is $30 and you get 45 minutes of play time. I like that you don't need to commit to a package and can simply buy classes a la carte. The instructor was energetic and enthusiastic. The class ended with the signature gymboree parachute which was fun. You also take a few minutes during class to introduce yourself to the other families. The instructor warned us that it can be sensory overload if it's your child's first time and she was completely right! Our normally 'chill' child wasn't her usual self for the first part of class and was definitely a bit fussy and scared. Every kid is of course different, but worth noting that it's a lot of stimulation during a first time visit! Overall it's a fun play space and I'll certainly plan some future visits when my girl is a little more mobile.

Gymboree in Pine Brook has been absolutely perfect. It's become a regular part of our routine, and it's made such a big difference in his movement and confidence. He gets so excited the moment we walk through the doors. It's truly his happy place. The instructors here are what make it so special. We've worked with every one of them, and they are all amazing in their own way. Ms. Geri: She has had such a big impact on my son's movement. She's incredibly thoughtful, caring, and observant, and she really takes the time to get to know each child and respect their autonomy. She's given us so many helpful tips and ideas to support his physical development, and I really believe her guidance has helped him get closer to walking and become more confident with movement in general. Ms Geri is so experienced with children and has given me much insight to my son and his ability to explore and learn about the world at his own pace. Also, as a side note, one day I desperately needed coffee (it was a loooong day) and Geri called a nearby business for me to see if they were open and sold coffee!!! It sounds small, but it's rare to find people who go out of their way like that for you. She genuinely cares and it shows. Ms. Kathleen: She has SUCH a beautiful voice!!! Even if you go for just one class, try to go to hers so that you and your little one can listen to her lovely singing. It instantly draws my son in, even though he usually takes a little while to warm up to new people. She's super engaging and fun, and somehow got him to start drumming along with us for the first time ever at his last class! It was such a sweet moment that I wasn't expecting. She has a really special way with children. Ms. Morgan: She was the first teacher we had at Gymboree, and after just one class with her, we signed up for the unlimited pass. That's how good she is! She brings so much energy and creativity to her lessons, and she keeps the kids excited and involved the whole time. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she made us feel right at home right away. I think that is all the instructors, but if not, then these are the ones that we have attended classes with. I honestly can't recommend this Gymboree location enough. If you're considering it, just try a class. you'll see right away how wonderful the staff is and how much your little one will get out of it. It's been such a great experience for our family.
