It's everything you would want in a play place for a 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Plenty to see and do, but not too much that it's overwhelming. There's a large play place with lots of slides and areas to climb, pretend play centers and plenty of other toys like blocks, trains, etc. A huge added bonus is they have a snack bar with coffee - perfect for adults, and helpful if you forget snacks for your kiddos. The entire space is kept extremely clean and has a bright and modern feel. Admission is around $20 for open play. It's also a wonderful spot for birthday parties - you get the entire space for two hours and they have complete packages where they include food and decor. Overall it's a cute spot to have in town and I'm sure we'll continue to visit often!

She's caring, thoughtful, remembers us(!), and very organized. Every time we have come to the facility, every block is in place, and there isn't a piece of lint or thread anywhere on the floor- it is spotless clean! Remember to bring socks - if you forget (like I did) they have kid and adult pairs for sale for just a few dollars. You're also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks in - they have designated areas for food in there. Our kid started coming around age 13 months and is 2.5 years now. There are endless things to do - from small breakout rooms to explore and stimulate imagination, to a massive climbing and jungle gym area that even adults can easily maneuver. There is a small cafe for water and snacks, as well as very clean, accessible restrooms. The area is very open and visible, so parents can always keep an eye on their children no matter which part of the building they are in. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Over and over again.

One of our son's favorite spot was the "Market" lol anyway, we had fun taking pictures with Mickey and Minnie and loved the surprise Balloon drop. Bonus was the spacious parking lot across and babytown area for kids 2 and under. They can host private parties, and even have books and toys for sale. Now if only there was food and coffee for purchase! lol Either way, loved Neverland fun and their wonderful staff! Thank you! Will keep an eye out for other events!

Highly recommended for open play toddler fun!…read more This place is brand new (opened late in 2024) and everything inside looks it. It's much bigger than you'd think, and the different play areas/stations were nicely done. The owners and staff are all extremely nice, friendly and helpful. My kids and I have been HUGE fans of Mama's Play since our first visit this summer, and it became…read morethe natural choice to host our son's 3rd birthday! Although it was at the top of our very short list, we scouted other potential venues as most of our guests reside near us in North Jersey. After looking at other places and their party packages, there was none that even came close to offering what Mama's Play has to offer, even at the Private Luxe level! It was the easiest choice EVER! G and Maya were a DREAM to communicate with! They never hesitated to answer a single question, large or small. Maya was EXTREMELY communicative in the weeks leading up to the event, and was always so detailed in her communications. My son was recently diagnosed with ASD, and Maya was SO KIND in offering accommodations that would allow him to feel the most comfortable! Mama's Play is an already established safe space for him, so much so that both of my littles feel like they own the place! Haha! My son LOVES music, and Maya was kind enough to allow me to create a Spotify playlist so my son could play along with his favorite tunes! Once he heard his playlist for the first time, he squealed with joy - indicating that the party had officially begun! Maya was also kind enough to allow me to open a tab at the coffee bar so my guests could enjoy beverages throughout the party, and they all LOVED THEM! The coffee, decor, and cleanliness of the space were the TALK of the party! All of the adults could not stop raving about the space and wished they had a place like this to play when they were the kid's ages. The entire Mama's Play staff that worked the evening of our event were so sweet and attentive! Although we opted for the DIY party, they still added a personal flare by adding "Happy Birthday Tino!" on the door - which was SO ADORABLE! Their energy was so relaxed and truly set the tone for a memorable party experience rather than a hectic one. Mama's Play, thank you so much for allowing us to create such beautiful memories in your space! I can still hear all the laughs that were shared, the little feet as they ran around, and see the smiles on the kid's faces from endless fun! We didn't want the party to end! Haha! We cannot wait to continue to build memories at Mama's Play and hope to celebrate another occasion there soon!

Hidden Playground Ready For Fun…read more We literally dead-ended into this place when driving back home from a Pediatrician's appointment for our little one. As soon as our little one saw it he had to have "10 minutes!" before we could be on our way. He liked it enough to ask for "10 more minutes!" before we could leave. Harrison Street Playground is a small neighborhood playground that surprisingly has 2 newer play structures designed for 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds respectively. There are also toddler swings, standard swings, and a see-saw. The wood chip ground cover should help keep your little ones safe from little falls. The patch of paved area next to the playground looks great for skating or riding in a safe gated area tucked away from traffic. 2 hour street parking from 8AM-4PM Monday - Friday on Harrison Street. No drinking fountains or restrooms here so plan your intake and elimination needs accordingly. A dedicated parking lot would push the rating to a 3-4 star level. Drinking fountains and restrooms would bump it up to a 4-5 star range. But this is a small neighborhood playground and I'm just happy that we stumbled onto it.

Spent 2.5 hours here with our 4.5 year old. Love the activities throughout the day, like magic show…read more(that was great!) musical instruments with witches (Halloween time), etc. Amazing cute fairy tale houses all hand painted decorated wonderfully. It's a lovely day spent. Friendly staff. Pumpkin painting. Your child is able to lead the way from each house to next. Restaurant looks cute, haven't tried. Also, something parents will appreciate is the gift shop is sort of hidden(in the best way possible for parents who don't want to buy anything else). So, no arguing w my child as we're leaving a nice day there. Many kids places set parents up for arguments about "extra" stuff to buy left and right, it didn't feel that way. Thank you:) Very well done will be back every season. Love to support a local small business that has put a lot of sweat and tears I'm sure into their business.

Oak Ridge, NJ - calling all influencers! This place is hugely Instagrammable and super enchanting!…read moreLol. Mariah Carey even shot her Christmas music video here. But you don't have to care about snapping cute pics to appreciate that Fairy Tale Forest is an absolute wholesome delight for children and for adults to live their childhood nostalgia. There is a real magical forest feel as you wander through the park, which isn't large, but the life-size storybook cottages and fairy tale sets are beautifully detailed and lovingly restored. The grounds are clean and well-manicured (a sign says the gardens are curated by Raine Garden Designs). A list of daily events & activities are posted such as magic shows, live music, and character meet & greets. The staff and actors are all warm and friendly. My child loved running around and exploring, participating in the activities, but I enjoyed it just as much if not more. There are shaded picnic tables under umbrellas (next to the Bluebird Stage so you can catch a show while you eat). The food is from the on-site restaurant Fables, and is quite good, certainly better than your average amusement park fare (I was really happy to get a proper salad!). The restaurant is only open for private parties/events/rentals at the moment, but I'm told they hope to have it up and running at some point. The interior is also themed. There is a reasonably priced gift shop with a nice selection of toys, souvenirs, costumes, and gifts. I would say this park is suitable for younger kids, maybe up to 8 or even an unjaded 10yo (have your kids dress up as knights, wizards, princesses, and fairy tale characters!). It's also kind of a cool spot for a date. This is an "analog" park with some animatronics, and you shouldn't expect any dazzling razzmatazz or high-octane thrills. Six Flags it ain't. But come with the right mindset for the unique experience this is and you won't be disappointed. It's good ol' fashioned throwback family fun and brings back an era that doesn't exist anymore. Indeed, many NJ locals have fond memories of this park from when they were young. It was built in the 1950s by an industrious German dude and features scenes from Grimm's Fairytales that his mother used to read to the family, and was expanded with more set pieces over the next couple of decades. Unfortunately it closed down in 2003 and FINALLY reopened last year, after efforts were stalled during the pandemic. All I can say is goooo and visit this charming, singular, and uncorporatized attraction, and support a still founding family-owned local business. It's a complete joy!

We were their for two nights over Columbus Day weekend, and every spot was reserved, yet the campground was amazingly quiet and clean. The facilities (showers, toilets, etc) is this place's biggest downfall. The infrastructure needs attention. And lots of it. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and fun to talk to. They were knowledgeable of local establishments to eat and have a cocktail (bbq down the road, and a couple of nearby breweries). All in all, this was ok. Had the bathrooms been updated, this could have been a solid 4.
