We had a good experience planning a birthday here for our 5-year-old. Arrangements were easily made through the website and somebody got back to us quickly about our options. I liked that we had a large private room and each kid and adult got unlimited play and an allotted dollar amount on their play cards. Our host was excellent. He handled all the food, cleanup and instructions for the kids. I cannot remember his name, but he was great. Our party was Jan 17th in the evening. It had snowed earlier, but the turnout was still good and the kids had an absolute blast. Concessions were oddly reasonable in pricing. I would definitely come back! read more

Was super disappointed from my experience back in August. Online, their policy was that if there were ever to be a unforeseen weather change that closed the outside area for more than 3 hours you would be able to get a free return ticket. However, when I expressed to the staff about how my family and I can just for the outdoor water park, they just acted like it wasn't a big deal. I tried contacting them through email as well. Every one MUST have a band even if they are observing which I found was a money grab . Some games and a hour bowling is included in the price . All the included ganes were broken or run down and didn't work and when we made a complaint they said "well it's included what do you expect " . Bowling wasn't worth it either our lane froze multiple times and the workers there had attitudes and were very nasty They also shut place down at 915 pm when closing time is supposed to be 10 . Our visit to Funplex for my son's birthday was... rough. Many of the rides and games we were supposed to have included either weren't working or were in poor condition. The bowling lane froze a few times, and some arcade games were completely broken. Staff seemed annoyed when we asked for help, and closing time came earlier than expected, even though it's advertised later. The wristband policy was confusing and frustrating, especially since a few people in our party didn't even plan to ride anything--they just wanted to watch. That said, we were given a free wristband for the trouble, which was nice and is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. Overall, it was disappointing and not worth the price, though at least the free wristband softened the blow a little. read more

It was my son's birthday today and we decided to come here after spending the day at a few other places in Philly. It is so upsetting that they make everyone buy wristbands to even be in the building !!! Two people in our party are disabled veterans and can't move at all. They wanted to see my son ride on rides and just be a part of the experience , and watch him have fun but NO ! The staff said we would have to buy wrist bands for everyone ... and it's not like it's 10 or 20 bucks ... it's $50! I wasn't about to pay that much , not because I couldn't afford it but just because of the sheer principle and audacity that this place has to do that . They aren't six flags or Disney ... they are Funplex ,or call them by their real name "Feeplex" ,on the side of a freaking Highway in Mt Laurel. So they lost out on 150$ today and potentially more because we were going to buy food , etc. because they couldn't charge two disabled veterans $100 to wheel themselves around on their precious pavement. Stupid business model!!! Also we looked on the website before driving an hour and a half to get here, no where does it mention that you need to purchase a wristband except after we left I searched for a while and finally found the smallest print that subtly said must purchase wristband to enter. This was after extensively searching , searching for keywords , etc !!! First time visiting the FunPlex--Was thrilled to find out that they host a 21 and older series of events during the summer so the adults can come out and be big kids, without the kids lol. Drinks were spot on, and prices were worth it in my opinion. Entry included access to bowling, racing cars, indoor and outdoor rides, games and the waterpark. Just a really great way to end off the summer with friends. Highly recommend if you're between the ages of (21-40) no older lol read more

If you go after 4, you get full access at a discount, which is helpful. Would had given it 5 stars if a few things didn't happen: *girl at center of the go carts on Sunday night 8/25 was a bit sarcastic to a teenager because he crashed into another car. Avoid this place at all costs! it's very evident they have zero compassion or care for their customers, last week as my friend was walking into the building carrying her toddler she tripped over an unmarked speed bump and they both went flying, instead of a simple are you okay or can we get you anything she was met with "oh it happens all the time". This is a place for kids, parents carrying their kids into the building, pregnant women carrying their kids into this building, if it happens ALL the time... fix it! The Funplex is a unicorn. It's the only "indoor amusement park" for 50 miles in any direction. Sure, there are other arcades, or other bowling alleys, or other places with rides, or other places with water rides, but there isn't any place, (at least that I know of), that has them ALL in one place. Funplex has everything in a one stop shop...... ....but because of that monopoly on fun, they can now strong arm you into paying a shit ton of money with their mob tactics mentality. "You wanna walk through my doors? Fuck you, pay me." "You aren't getting on ANY rides, and you're just here for your kids to play? Fuck you, pay me." "Your kid is too small to get on 98% of the rides? FUCK. YOU. PAY. ME." My wife and I brought our THREE YEAR OLD here; just to run around, oogle the flashing lights, and weakly roll skeeballs halfway up the ramp. She's only tall enough to get on like THREE rides here (two of which are outdoors, and subject to the weather.) The wife and I have ZERO interest on riding the rides or playing the games, and literally are just chaperoning our child. The cost; ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS! Just to walk through the front door, you have to buy an unlimited ride band for EVERYONE in your party. So, the parent not interested in the rides? Armband. Grandma, visiting from out of town? Armband. Pregnant woman that can't ride the rides? Armband. Guy in a neck brace and wheel chair? Armband. Weekend armband prices are $50 each. It's highway robbery. The weekday prices are only slightly better, where its like $20 or $30 a person, but the same principle applies; you show up, you pay. They sell season passes, but each season pass is like $120, and everyone in the party needs that too, unless they are a guest, at which point it's $30 for them. It's just not worth it. I see families of like 6-7 people come in here; (side bar, the clientele can get pretty sketchy....they check for weapons on the way in, and I've seen a few less than savory interactions...), and I am just baffled where they are getting $400 to ride some rides in Mt. Laurel NJ. There are places like Dave and Busters, or Round 1 in Deptford that are SIMILAR, (no RIDES), but will let you do most of the same stuff for exponentially cheaper. read more

Ok so u wanna have fun??? Well this is the place!!Funplex has everything u could ever want in a play center for kids and adults alike!!! So I have been to the other New Jersey location in East Handover and it's huge but this location in Mt Laurel is Giiiinormous!!!!! Outdoor Amusement, Indoor Amusement, Mini Golf, Outdoor water park, Go Karts and Bowling to name a few!!! What I love is the layout of the complex! The outdoor areas have an abundance of seating shaded and unshaded. Kids area for the Splashplex is adorable! Lots of mini slides for the little ones and tons to do while anticipating a giant bucket of water to fall on u. Two pools make for lots of space for everyone on crowded days. Lazy river is a highlight...I could stay in there all day! For the thrill seekers there's a few water slides! The Amusement park is pretty impressive. They even have a little rollercoaster that was fun . After we did the outdoor fun we went in for indoor fun which was tons of arcade games and yes more rides. The Tilt a whirl was a highlight as well as go karts and laser tag! The staff was very nice and pleasant especially in the boardwalk area at the games! Food here is not bad! A bit pricey but that's to be expected for a compound such as this. Pizza, chicken wings, fries and funnel cake fries were all amazing! The pit stop cafe is quick with the orders and there's lots of tables for sitting inside. Truly had an amazing day!!! If I could take issue with anything I guess I would say the whole arm band pricing is yikes!! For $60 bucks u get unlimited access to everything in the complex inc rides and water park along with JUST 10 arcade credits. They have other bands if you just want to visit the water park or just arcade but be aware even if u don't plan ti do in the water at all and just want to sit and watch the kids, u have to purchase an arm band which is 49 bucks so u might as well go in and have a great time. We literally stayed from 10am to 7pm!!! We were tired but it was all worth it! If u are an out of towner they have several hotels nearby like the Hampton Inn and Raddison Inn literally down the highway. And a brand new La Quinta inn and Suites is coming right next door to Funplex! U will literally be able to walk from their parking lot to Funplex!!! Headed here for a night of fun after Speed Raceway was closed due to an event. It was June but school hadn't let out in NJ yet and it was a weeknight, so only the inside attractions were open. The wait for admission was kinda long, despite the line being kinda short. The first ride we rode was the bumper cars. Right off the bat, my hubby was soured because the car he got into was broken. The kids and I rode the cars once with another family, then hubs got to ride the second round. We rode the go karts, which I think was the highlight of the experience. The cars are nice and the track is pretty good. My son struggled but my daughter was a passenger because she's too short to drive. We rode the spinning teacups and they made me feel as sick as they did when I was a kid. Top notch! The family mounted up for the nearby swing ride, but the young folks operating it could turn it on? We went into the idea factory of foam for awhile til they figured it out. Then the family rode and I watched. We left shortly after. Spent maybe 2 hours, maybe a little less and felt... slighted. This was a fantastic summer option for your kids! As many of the yelpers have mentioned, the price may be a similar to a larger amusement park, but the freedom to go to as many rides and slides without waiting in line is simply priceless! We came here when it opened on a weekday, and outside of a group of summer camp kids who shared the premise, my family and I had zero wait time! The lifeguards near all water activities are incredibly well staffed. The ride times for the non-water activities are bit on the shorter side, but since it's free and there's no line, it's totally worth it! Our tickets also contained a $5 arcade coupon, which was a nice touch. If your kids are over 42 or 48inches, this is a great place to go! read more

The Biggest Rip off around! Looks like a fun place to spend the day & have fun with friends or family, but once you get into line for tickets, the happiness turns quickly to anger & disgust. We took our nephew this weekend. He has a season pass for summer. Since he is only 11, we were going to go with him to make sure he was safe. We find out that in order to get in (even to the arcade to spend MORE MONEY$$$$) it was $55 PER PERSON. Then she explained we could get in for a mere $30 as one of his "buddies" that was included with his season pass. So we decide to have only one of us accompany him & the other wait in the car. How come there is no solution for adults accompanying minors (NOT RIDING OR PLAYING ANY GAMES OR ATTRACTIONS) access with a reasonable fee such as $5 - $10. We were only there for about an hour & I feel as if we were taken advantage of & had no choice other than to disappoint a child looking forward to some fun with his aunt & uncle watching & protecting him. read more

As stated in a previous review my granddaughter Yara Chester had a birthday party at Funplex on July 14, 2024. Due to a thunderstorm the children were not allowed. To go in the water. However when you pay close to 1,000 and you get 3 pizzas and a couple of pickers of juice I am sure that does not cost that amount of money. I did a review and got a response from Amanda L. Who is Business Manager she informed that I should contact someone named Michael by e-mail for a resolution to this matter which I did. To date, September 14, 2024. I have received no response from Michael or anyone else from Funplex regarding the matter. When you are operating a large entity such as this on a regular basis and you receive a complaint it would be common practice and courtesy to respond. I have suggested to those that I know and continue to do so. What happened was not an everyday occurrence. I am sure so what is the problem? I would not recommend this place to anyone and hope that people would read this review because no matter how big or small your concern it will not be addressed. read more

This was my second time here for a friends children's birthday party. I do like there is plenty of parking. We went into the party room which was not private at all, there were about 15 long tables & certain ones were already set up for reserved parties that day. There was no signage on any if the tables & it was very generic. Once everyone from the party was there we were lead down stairs to do bumper cars & go karts. We were told not to leave our party, but I saw this to be hard as some of the families had smaller aged kids there that could not do either activity. We were taken upstairs around 11:15 for pizza and cake. The pizza was ok. But we were told we needed to wait until 12 to do laser tag, once we got in there the computer was down & did not keep score. That was very disappointing. They opened a small concession stand that had funnel cake on the menu but when we went to order some they had to make the batter, not sure if it was because they just opened or they wait for an order to make the batter but that was really annoying plus we were really the only ones there at this time. This was an additional cost that was not included in the price of the party. There were plenty of arcade games, bowling and a fun house for you to enjoy. I would say its better to go as a group bring your cake and just pay per person so you do not get told to wait for certain things when you only have a limited time there. read more

I'd give this zero stars if I could. When my daughter was little we used to take her here and it was great. Recently, my wife and I, with a couple of friends went to play miniature golf and were told we'd have to buy an all-access pass for $55 each if we wanted to play mini golf. There was no way to just pay for golf and we were rudely told that if we weren't going to pay the $55, we should leave. This place is poorly managed and NOT guest-friendly, so I won't be recommending this rip-off palace to anyone! read more

They would not even let you in the door without everyone paying a $45 dollar entrance fee, $150 dollars for all three of us!!This included rides (which we did not want to do) and other things that we tried to explain we did not want. We just wanted to buy a card and play some arcade games but that was not allowed! We live in the area and have been to Fun Plex to play games many times! As a parent of a soon to be 5yo in the Jersey suburbs it can be a daunting task trying to find a birthday venue, after being rebuffed by Goldfish for a party we scoured around until we selected Funplex for our birthday venue. We did the whole Pump it up the previous year and there's just soo many times you can do that when all the other parent's are doing the same thing. We booked in April for a July birthday and were apprehensive since we've never been to a birthday before and took a leap of faith that it was be a good venue. The pricing is a little bit more expensive then a Pump it up birthday. You can bring your own cake, but they cater all the food. Fyi, the food run on the smaller size so make sure you order a little more than you anticipate. In terms of the catering I wasn't too impressed as they didn't have things come out at the right time. In terms of the activities, the kids had a wonderful time. We ordered the kid's bumper cars, foam arena, and the shooting game. The shooting game is SCARY as sh#t! Even I jumped out a little but the kids still had an amazing time with all the venues. Note, the hostesses will try to rush you through things, so after eating lunch, everyone can do another round of play. We also ordered the splash pad, and it happened to be close to 100 degrees that day, so I hope your party is with some close friends. Overall, what matters is that your kid has an amazing time and I think the Funplex fulfilled that mission. read more

Furious. I got kicked out today and had to miss spending the day with my family. My wife is battling stage 4 cancer and I don't get many family days as it is. We had 2 season passes pre-covid, and went today to have them use them. All checked in, we asked if we could just mini golf as parents. They don't let you just pay for that anymore. Okay that stinks. So then we were told we can use one of their buddy passes-well thats $30 each-what's the point!?? No thanks. So we just decide we will watch them play and whatnot like we used to with season passes. Manager chases us down, and tells us we either have to pay the general admission fee of $60 or leave. WHAT!? We aren't doing anything!? She said it's new. I said when we purchased our season passes, that wasn't the rule so it should be honored that way. She said too bad, pay or leave. I said I can't just leave my kids!! And we already purchased these!! I'm not paying yet another $60 every visit just to WATCH THEM! My wife can't even do anything here except the golf, and you won't let us pay a separate fee for it!!! So I got kicked out, had to go home, she had to pay $30 fee just to watch them, and I lost my family day. Great business you have there. Terrible. We are DONE there. And man it's blasted all over social media too. And rightfully so bc that's NOT how customers should be treated. Update: owner responded with the exact drivel they responded to on social media. This is my first time visiting The Funplex, HOWEVER, I used to go almost weekly back in the day when they used to be called The Falls! Back when the main attractions in this fun center were Mini Golf, Laser Tag, and Bumper Cars. Coming back after almost 10 years, it was incredible to see this massive makeover! My family and I came here this past 4th of July, and had a really great time - spent close to 3 hours here! We got the unlimited pass for $35 per person which in my opinion, for the age that I am, was not worth it (I'm 26). This pass did not include mini golf & didn't include the splashpark which is no biggie. Many of the rides are outdated like the simulator ride and bumper cars. Of all of the rides + attractions, my only four favorite were the dark ride, laser tag, bowling, and electric go-karts. We wanted to go do go-karts again before we left but the line was so so long. Basically, we went on each ride only once so getting an unlimited pass was pretty useless. Bowling was a great time, but we only played one game. I really can't handle roller coasters like I used to (hurts my neck) but I still went on it and didn't like it. And the other rides made me pretty dizzy to the point I felt sick. But I quickly drank water and it went away. Overall, a great time for kids! Unless I want to mini golf, bowl, or go go-karting, I probably won't be back. read more

Recently came to the FunPlex on a Saturday night w/ my bf and 8 year old nephew. Although it was busy, we all had a lot of fun! We arrived after 7pm, so we paid $25 for the unlimited wristband. I thought this pricing was fair, although I wished the person selling us them had reviewed the other options as well. I explained when first walking up to the counter we had never been there before, so wasn't sure how it worked. I asked if we just bought a wristband, she said yes. That was it. Later found out there were other options we could've purchased, oh well. The rides, although there were lines, moved fairly quickly. We did bumper cars multiple times, lazer tag, go karts, bowling, the 3-D video game/ride (although the wristband only allowed you to do this once). Occasionally we would be the only ones on the ride (lazer tag) and other times we would have to go to another ride because a bday party had reserved the ride for that specific time (go karts). After doing the rides & bowling we decided to do some arcade games. Put $20 worth on the card, and didn't even use the full value before we left. Also grabbed some pizza (which surprisingly was really good!) from the snack stand while we were bowling. A few comments about the behavior of kids there, as a few others have pointed out. Yes, there were kids that tried cutting the line, and most of the employees would see it & make them go back to the end of the line. Yes there were children and teens being rude, but it wasn't anything that isn't normally experienced at any other place geared towards kids. Overall it didn't ruin our experience, and we had a fun time, and I would definitely bring my nephew back again. He had a blast! read more

My wife, daughter, and I had the pleasure of attending a company family fun day here and I was pretty impressed. One of the reasons why we were pretty impressed is because evetything was free, but overall we had a pretty fun time. The staff here is pretty young, but they were courteous and helpful with answering questions and ensuring my daughter was having a good time. We, unfortunately, did not partake in the water fun, but it looked like a good time. Towels are not provided, so make sure you bring your own. Lockers are available, but they are $15 for the day. Family lockers are available for $20 a day. The arcade area is quite large with plenty of games to win tickets and challenge your inner child. There is a tunnel you can go through to access the inside amusement park with rides, bumper cars, go-karts, and a ball area that is filled worth soft balls that can be shot out of mini cannons. The ball pit area was probably the highlight of our trip. I included a picture of the area for all to see. The go-karts were fun, but we waited over 30 minutes to ride. Funplex (formerly The Falls) has evolved over the years from a mini kids park with a few rides, to a quite large arcade themed kids business with some really good rides, slides, and water attractions, along with hundreds of games inside. The cafe.... I wasted my money there once. It won't happen again. I found it to be gas station quality food at best. So I plan my day accordingly, and let my daughter know well ahead of time that the only thing I'll be buying there is drinks!! The place is always crowded, and is still a great time. Also, I found the prices for their birthday party packages to offer plenty of time and activities included for what I consider to be a very low price as far as kids parties go... read more

I took my daughter here over the weekend to do a few rides and we had a good time! I cannot speak to the arcade or the food, but the rides were pretty good, especially for an indoor location. Our favorite was the outdoor roller coaster! My only complaint was that to get to the rides, you have to walk right by the walking dead video game which has pretty graphic pictures on the side of it, which were really scary for my daughter. If those games need to be at the arcade, it might be nice to put them were they aren't visible for everyone, especially for young children. If I could leave a negative star, I would! Maybe summer day time was a bad idea to go. There were kids running everywhere with no parents/counselors around. They were jumping and cutting the line, kicking, fighting, cursing and crowding in line. We waited in line for bumper cars and counted 3 different times the worker stopped the ride to move broken ones out of the way and a parent had to jump in and do the work while the worker watched. Managers should be walking around helping the workers, because it wasn't their fault, they were just kids. Outside was no different. Hundreds of kids and barely any adults. Will never ever go back, although my kids had fun bowling and video games, but not worth the money at all! read more
