Nice, precarious 4 foot drop, RIGHT along the main walk way
Matt C.

Funzilla is awesome. It's a wonderland for children and parents alike. There is so much to do, and it's a GREAT place to burn energy off of your little ones. BUT, THIS location is substantially subpar to the flagship in Fairless Hills PA. FIRST OF ALL, because this location is new, they haven't worked out the kinks yet. The staff is almost entirely 16-17 year old KIDS, that don't exactly know what's going on. Not that management is much better, as the manager, Dev I believe, doesn't really know what he's doing either. I was there yesterday, and purchased a toddler ticket. When I tried to add my wife to the ticket, they told me that I needed to buy a package for her (starting at $25.) At the other location, adding ANOTHER adult (we'll get to this in a second), is like $5. They said she would need an entire new ticket for herself, to join me and my daugther. THEN, I said, "wait.....the toddler ticket comes with 1 adult included, right?" Dev told me "no," and that *I* would have to buy a ticket as well, TO TAKE MY 2 YEAR OLD THROUGH THE FACILITY!!! They wanted to charge us an additional FIFTY DOLLARS, plus fees and taxes, to accompany a toddler through their Willy Wonka land of dangers. (And dangers there are....more on THIS soon.) I immediately reached out to the main facility that told me that Delran is WRONG, and that I can go anywhere that my toddler goes, as I am included in the toddler ticket. (See pictures.) I can only imagine how many people they overcharged, or how many people couldn't go with their kids because of this oversight. And you absolutely WANT to go with your kids, because this place is dangerous. Again, see the pics. There is a good 3-4 foot drop right next to the walk way, adjacent to the ninja warrior course. It's INCREDIBLY easy for a little one to fall in there. It's not a matter of if, but when. The foam pits are only like 3 feet deep, and have HARD bottoms that are barely padded. (At Fairless Hills, they are like 5 feet deep, with trampoline bottoms.) There aren't even enough foam blocks to cover the entire pit, so jumping into the pit isn't the soft experience you would expect. When I was there yesterday, there was a trail of BLOOD on the floor. I pointed it out to one of the CHILDREN that work there, and he was like, "yeah, that looks like blood." Didn't call anyone to clean it up, didn't attempt to do it himself; just corroborated that I know what blood looks like, and kept it moving. Also, the lockers here are so small that they can barely fit a single pair of shoes. They are key operated, so good luck hanging on to that, as you bounce and fly through the building. As collateral for their locker key, you have to give them your CAR KEYS. So dumb. It's a shame, because Funzilla in general is great, and this particular location actually has a really nice Ninja Warrior section that looks a little more advanced and sturdy then the other location. This one looks like adults or big kids can do it, while the one in PA looks designed for kid kids. But that is LITERALLY the only check in their box. In EVERY other way, the Fairless Hills location is superior, AND safer. I've been to this one twice, and will most likely be back; especially now that I'm armed with knowledge to not buy a separate ticket, but seriously, Fairless Hills is not much farther, and it's quite a bit better.

Add the rock climbing and playground really gave them so many options to choose from that boredom never set in.

They offer finger foods like pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks. You can have a party in their party rooms. The party rooms are time limited (about two hours or less), and while the staff isn't rude, they do come in frequently to remind you how much time is left. It makes the transition feel a little rushed. Once your time is up, you're kindly moved out. There is seating outside the party rooms, but there aren't enough tables to comfortably accommodate everyone. They do have lockers for your belongings, a small arcade area, and separate trampoline sections based on age, which is a big plus for safety. The food was average at best. The pizza wasn't great, and the mozzarella sticks were just okay like pre- frozen. Another downside is the parking lot. The plaza also has a Chuck E. Cheese, a nail spa, and an Olive Garden, so parking can be pretty chaotic especially on weekends when birthday parties are happening everywhere. Overall, it's fine if you just want to bring kids to jump and burn energy. Personally, I wouldn't choose it as a party venue because the time feels limited and rushed. Would I attend another party there? Probably. But once the two hours are up, I'm heading out.

No one monitoring most of it but people were behaved and its not too crowded. Jumping was fun. I did cartwheels for the first time in 20 years. Parents are half off which is great but the lockers cost extra and certain rides are extra too. We got the more expensive one for the zip line. The only thing is that ur in socks the whole time, in the bathroom too which is pretty funky, just because. Its not particularly clean for that being the case. I didnt realize how not used to being shoeless i am, my balls of feet killed by the end. I was ready to go. They have the climb wall but no one was there so really didn't want to bother the only desk girl. The staff is good though. Only 4 people there but they all took care of their areas well, especially the harness check girls. They have pretty safety attentive positions and handle them well for being younger. It was good. Idk really what to expect. Its an interesting place. Worth a try. They have games too. They get a little expensive and all prizes were labubus. Lol. They have rooms for parties but im gonna warn that they are smaller then a bathroom. We saw in passing by. They look like hot closets so before u pay for one of them , id check it out. And food aint great but u dont want to eat and play anyway. Cramp city.

Meanwhile, we live on the other side of the bridge so I just can't even explain what kind of nightmare I had to go through in the pitch black pulled over in the freezing cold rain. I definitely don't think we'll be going back which sucks but I am just scarred for life. I'll definitely be using urban air. Please fix your pot holes so no one else has to endure that. We happen to be lucky and my husband had just gotten home from work and he was able to take an Uber over the bridge to come help us. But a play date that was already a little expensive ended up costing us $1500 plus. ( new kias apparently need all new tires once one goes so the drive train doesnt get messed up?) idfk bc I am still stuck on the spare. Just glad we made it home. Neverrrr again. Ps. I know potholes are just a part of life. It was just a nightmare so maybe just a cone even?

Star Park Indoor Playground and Party

I really wanted to love this place for my daughter, but I just didn't. I think the photos and…read morevideos are bit misleading, but that might just be me being overly picky. I love the idea of Star Park! There aren't too many indoor-play parks for open-play at a reasonable price where the majority of the park feels like it's geared towards younger toddlers. Our girl really enjoyed herself! This kid friendly spot had a space theme to it. She especially loved sitting inside the space ship areas and dancing to whatever kids program was playing at the time. She did go down the slide of the younger toddler area, but she's still too young to fully enjoy that section. She also loved "climbing" the rock wall aka dada just lifting her up high. The one thing that REALLY freaked me out about this place: there's a room that is supposed to give off the vibe of a sandbox, substitute the sand for some sort of pellet. I don't know what the pellet was, but I saw a handful of kids, EATING whatever this box was filled with. If you can imagine mom anxiety I had, waiting for my child to want to join in and eat this mystery pellet. Luckily, we did a good enough job keeping her away from the area, since I wasn't all that jazzed about the potential outcome. Overall, I just found the place to be a little dirty. Additionally, the location in the mall is eh. That being said, as a first-time Mom visiting this type of space, I have nothing to compare it to! I just have a cleanliness standard that Star Park did not meet. I don't think we will be returning unless our daughter is invited to a party there.

A lot of the guests for our party arrived late and the employees were mindful of this and allowed us to have our pizza/cake time after our designated time. We appreciated them extending that kindness. Our room was decorated nicely and I appreciated not having to add much to their standard decor. The overall play space is decent, albeit, it's definitely on the smaller side. Our party room was meant for 10 children and 10 adults, but it was very tight and several of the adults didn't feel comfortable coming in as it felt too cramped. For the price they charge, they should definitely allow kids to continue to play after the 2 hour party slot. They expect another $22 per child after your $500 2-hr party... on top of that, the area remains open to the public and it gets way too crowded, especially when you have little ones. It costs about 2k to reserve the entire space. We were fortunate that it wasn't too busy at the time we had our party but I wouldn't bank on that being typical experience for this place. All in all, the staff was friendly and helpful, the space was fun for small children, but definitely way too small and priced high.
