I had a fun time here and a good experience with the restaurant staff when I came with a large group. This second time, I was shocked by the cost per hour for bowling. It was $19 per person for one game and I don't believe that included shoes. Madness! I didn't pay for my first experience here, so it was definitely surprising. I am sure they run a special on Sundays for group bowling, according to their website, but the cashier never mentioned it. It would have at least made the cost somewhat affordable. read more

We've been here about a half dozen times before but tonight we got a broken lane. We paid for 90 minutes but wasted a lot of that with the lane (#43) having mechanical issues. It wasn't a good sign when we started out with it dead with the bar laying across the pins. Someone finally came to fix it, but then it the pin mechanism would routinely drop pins. We never had a whole set of 10 to begin with on any given frame. If we were serious bowlers we would have been really pissed, but we're terrible so we just laughed it off. At one point all the pins dropped out and the lane lost power a second time. The staff was supposed to add time to our 90 minute allotment but that didn't happen. We were tired anyway so called it a night. They really need to take better care of the place. read more

We always come here, but our last visit wasn't the best. The one lady was so nasty about our water bottles. We had to order nasty water that took us our whole game basically to even get. I realized the shoes I got were too small and asked for another one. She was so rude and said next time try them on right here before walking away. The games were mostly broken! The food was decent at least. Very disappointing. Needless to say I bought my own pair of shoes so won't have a problem next time. I like this venue for the bar menu and new iced cream flavors added off an ample patio and parking. Conveniently located off Moorestown Mall, Maple Shade Lowes crossing, Goodwill and Mt Laurel lodging hotels. Bar specials such as $5 hot totty tasty mozzarella cheese sticks and also one serving wines and crafts beer or signature cocktails with mixed locals and cool current music all genres make this a really good "dive". I have not used the party room, but they have a small arcading area for children, a pool hall area as well as well lit Bowling lanes that turn into almost a nightclub feel with friends welcoming Family business and patrons alike. Cashier staff and bar friendly mixed orientation makes this a hot spot to also just feel natural and relax. Our youth softball team was in the area for a tournament, and we needed something to do one hot summer evening that involved air conditioning. We found Laurel Lanes and were easily able to book 2 lanes for 15 players. The package came with a large cheese pizza and unlimited pitchers of soda/water, bowling shoes and the lanes for 2 hours - all for about $100 per lane. The facility is huge, upscale with entertainment screens showing movies, sports and other shows located at the end of the bowling lane. There was seating for the parents behind the kids who were bowling. Happy Hour in the bar required you to stay in the bar to drink your cocktail. Our server worked very hard and was extremely friendly and attentive, but the kitchen ran very slow. The food was terrible - we joked around that they had clearly raided the BJ's Wholesale Club frozen section. I think the wings were the best thing they served, but I was weirded out at the idea of touching bowling balls and then eating wings. Do not order the "nachos" with 4 dipping sauces unless you want a french fry container of tortilla chips with sauces in little tiny single serve containers (think those diner jelly containers). We had a good laugh over those. It was still a great experience for the girls who made sure to hit the arcade after, and the parents who were able to have some drinks while the girls entertained themselves. There was one horror moment though when one of the screens was showing the R-rated movie Bridesmaids and a very graphic sex scene played itself out for a LONG time. We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here on Saturday night. The kids had an hour of bowling, a choice of hot dog, pizza or nuggets for dinner, and an hour in the arcade after dinner (each child got an arcade card to play a few games). It was a complete success! The adults and kids had so much fun! We chose to have the Splitz sundae bar package and it was a hit! Our party host communicated with me all night and worked so hard to get everything done, she was wonderful!! It was also the most affordable birthday party we've ever booked! This is not our 1st time at Laurel Lanes but our 1st time having a private party in the suite. The space was beautiful and the staff were super friendly & helpful. Since this was a sweet sixteen we ordered finger foods from the catering menu but they had so many options to choose from. The big hit was the ice cream sundae bar - the kids & the adults loved it. Came here for the first time since they renovated and I must say , I am impressed. The bowling ally is very nice, modern and clean. This could be somewhere you go for a date or bring the kids. The employees are very nice and accommodating. My husband and I were impressed with the food too. The food was better than average for a bowling ally. They also have a full bar. Was here for a birthday party on a Sunday from 1-4pm. The bowling alley is beautiful and updated. Newer flooring and updated electronics made for a nice bowling experience. We were in the luxury suite for the party which had 6 lanes, multiple TVs (with 2 big screens at the end of the lanes), some arcade style games, and lots of seating / space for a large event. Our server was very personable and easy going (all drinks had to be ordered through him and we weren't allowed to order directly from the bar). Our party host was also kind and accommodating. Food was lackluster but what I expected for a bowling alley. Veggie tray, chicken Caesar salad, chicken tenders, and fries. Edible but not the greatest. The beer list was better than expected. Some good IPAs that I've never had before. Seemed like the lanes were oiled extra heavy, but all things considered a great experience for any kind of private event. read more

Had a surprise 40th birthday party for my daughter in the Luxury Suite - awesome time! The private suite is so cool - 6 lanes, Game Center, lots of TVs and we had personal music and tons of pictures of my daughter on the projection screen. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff was just perfect - Mags the server saw to everyone's needs and Tessa who oversaw the party was THE BEST throughout the planning and throughout the party. We brought in a group for some bowling early on New Years Eve. I didn't realize I'd need to know who needed shoes or not. I also thought I knew exactly how many were coming but as luck would have it, a few extras came. A special shout out to Anthony, who did an brilliant job in handling my extras and requests. We had to bowlers that came and hour and 45 minutes late, and Anthony helped us out with adding them in. Another shout out to Bob, normally a bar tender, took our pizza and soda order and delivered quickly. Laurel Lanes is convenient, clean and has been great to our Special Olympic team. First time here in 20 years. It looks completely updated - clean and family friendly. Not how I remembered it at all! Prices were reasonable and it looked like they have specials on different days. It seemed crowded to me but we were able to get a lane very quickly. Customer service was quick and nice. Our balls kept getting stuck in the back but they fixed the problem right away. Usually have a good time at this place. It's clean, fairly inexpensive. So when I received an email from them for a Super Bowl special I was excited it's about it. $75 for 6 people on 1 lane. 50 wings and a pizza, shoe rentals and all you can Bowl. When I arrived I had to pay right away, ok fine. But I quickly noticed the sound for the game wasn't on. I immediately questioned the staff and was told that they would try to do something but did not expect to be able to do anything. Turns out the audio system was not even hooked up to the video system. If you are going to have a special event for the biggest sporting event of the year maybe make sure your paying customers can have a favorable experience when watching it. So it was a lousy experience. Having to listen to the game on the live stream from my phone that didn't sync up with the video from the bowling alley. I really just can't figure out why you would bother having such an event without sound for the game. read more

Horrible experience. We went in on a Sunday night for the unlimited bowling special, only to be told "it's a holiday". Apparently the strategy of these guys is to get you in there and then reinvent the holiday calendar we all know. They turned the entire Labor Day weekend into a holiday and referenced the "subject to change" blurb on the website. Total bait and switch. Mind you, this was Sunday night at 8:30, and the place was at 25% capacity. Needless to say, we're never going back. Went to Pinsetters a few minutes away instead and had no issues. read more

Came in 2 have a fun nite with my daughter on 5/24/23.Got a lane wedged between families in one corner. Asked to change but was denied. I ended up asking 4 a refund and went elsewhere to bowl and enjoy. Lady at register has missing teeth is all I remember. Said the other lanes were 4 leagues and that was 4 hrs. away 4 them 2 start! 4 starts because this is my favorite bowling alley. Their bowling, pins, and pop package is a great option for children's parties, adult birthdays, or get togethers. They have a few restaurant options on site one of which is a full service bar. Stick to beer and you will not be disappointed. The employees are always accomodating on the phone and in person. They also have bowling specials check their website for more info. I personally, am a huge fan of the wings especially the hot. They are the type to have you sweating, crying and wanting more. I was sitting eating with my two friends and I told him my drink tasted a bit weak and he freaked out. He ended up packing our food to go when we were dining in. Such a shame. It's a nice bowling center. Had several really great experiences here. However after my last visit, We will not be back. We were a party of 5 adults. We got into a disagreement with the person in the lane next to us due to his unsupervised child picking up some of our personal equipment. This "father" quickly escalated the altercation from verbal to physical when he struck my boyfriend in the face. Witnessed by many people including staff. More staff came over and had words with the guy for fighting. They were trying to get him to leave. Staff repeatedly told my family that the other guy was leaving. LIES!!!! The other patron was still on premises and was going between the arcade and the bathroom which was right behind the lane we were playing on, instigating more altercations by holding loud conversations about us with another patron. We felt so uncomfortable, like they were planning on making a really bad situation even worse. A manager came over to talk to us and she offered to view camera footage but that obviously wasn't going to happen because she just kept saying what can I do to make this right. We said make him leave because he's going to cause more trouble. She said he was asked to leave. We said. But he hasn't. So we asked for a refund of the time we lost during all of this fiasco. Basically in the end we were told that we would have to end our game so we could get a full refund. Because a partial refund would be in the form of a gift certificate. But since we don't plan on ever returning that was a mute point. So in reality the guy who threw a punch was allowed to stay and we had to leave because we wanted our money back. We did get a full refund. And when we were leaving the guy was in the arcade staring menacingly at us. To the point we thought he was going to follow us out to our car and start trouble in the parking lot. The manager then offered to call the police. But we just wanted to get the hell out of there. This place is a joke. They knew the other guy threw a punch. They "asked him to leave" but they knew he had not left. They handled a bad situation poorly and made it even worse. read more

Laurel Lanes is just off Route 73 southbound. There is ample parking in a big parking lot. Our group was here for a geocaching event but not all of us were bowling so we took just a few lanes. Bowling fees were surprisingly low at $8 for 2 hours, including shoe rental, although I'm not sure if that was a group rate. Service was pretty good and another bonus was the velcro bowling shoes. I'm amazed that they had velcro shoes in my size (15) when I have such a hard time finding those myself. The biggest downside is the scoring software, which has the worst user interface I've seen in a while. You have to watch the icons on the screen to figure out which buttons to push to move the selection up and down, and to cancel or confirm. Also, for some reason, the player editing screen is in the play section and not the setup section. read more

So my complaint here is quite peculiar. When we arrived to bowl there were 7 of us with an 8th member still on his way. We asked for two lanes next to each other and after some time they came back and told us our lanes would be in the "clubhouse" section of the place. We were very excited so we payed for two hours and went back to basically a private room with nice lighting, a pool table, an arcade machine, a ps4 and large tv and some other cool amenities. We felt so blessed and started bowling. Our experience quickly turned around. Now we're not professionals but we do go bowling frequently to try to raise our skills and for a good place to hang out responsibly. A few of us even brought our own balls because of our partial dedication to becoming better at bowling. When we started bowling there were so many issues with the lanes. pins getting stuck and not reracking, the wrong number of pins being replaced and even sometimes the light would go out and we were unsure if the lanes were working properly. Every time we asked for assistance that had workers that treated us like we were intentionally bowling wrong and breaking the machines. With the two hours that we payed for ticking down while we were unable to properly bowl we decided to start playing pool while we waited for the staff that would take very long to assist our lanes, and when the staff finally arrived to fix our machine they reprimanded us for playing pool and asking us if we payed for it. The problems did not stop there as we continued to face difficulties and losing time that we paid for. We didn't request the special room so why did they give it to us if they were expecting us to be a problem, and no time was added to our bowling due to all of the stoppages and time we had to wait. overall we had three games of bowling in the two hours, when we normally could get 5 or 6 games per two hours. I appreciate their efforts as i'm sure they were understaffed, but our experience was not the same as it is at other places and it costed us some good practice time. read more

Lane conditions for league bowling are pretty consistent. A bit heavy on the oil in my opinion, but it is consistent. Best thing about Laurel a lanes though is Tony Rado's pro-shop. He is a master at selecting the right ball for you and measuring/drilling it correctly. For years I've bowled at another alley in PA, and they did my first couple of balls. Back in the fall of 2013 I got 2 new balls from Tony and I've been bowling so much better. For the first time ever I feel like the ball is coming off my hand exactly the way I want. In January I bowled my first 300 (out in PA) with a Hammer First Blood that Tony picked out and drilled. Now, less than 5 months later in June I bowled my second 300 (at Laurel Lanes) with a Hammer Nail that Tony picked out and drilled. I don't care if I move, I'll travel back just to have Tony drill all my balls as long as he's in business! read more

We were trying to bowl some of the calories off from Thanksgiving and decided this would be the best place to do it. We put ourselves on the waitlist and we were told anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour so we decided to get a few drinks and play pool. As we set up for pool, our lane was ready! Not a long wait after all. There are a ton of lanes. A ton, literally. Okay, maybe not literally but there's a lot. The fun thing about these lanes is the interactive scoreboards, you can take photos for your bowler name, chat with other lanes, and play different types of bowling. When you want bumpers, you don't need the staff to put them on, it knows which players need bumpers when you input it on the scoreboard. AWESOME. Food is decent for a bowling alley. They have a really good happy hour and you have servers come over to your lanes so you don't always have to get up to the bar. Friendly staff and pretty clean overall. It's not too expensive to play so a great date night or family night out. The arcade isn't terrible but the basketball game broke and air hockey wasn't working! Also, disappointed that the ice cream machine didn't have any ice cream, that's probably why it lost itself a star. Broke my heart. read more

If you go there on a weekday they usually are running some kind of special. This bowling alley is cater to all ages! You can have your child's birthday party there, work event, or celebrate with friends! They have a bar attach to the bowling alley which is amazing! While you are bowling, servers will come to you and ask you if you want to order anything from the bar! Laurel lanes also has a Tony Lukes attached to it! So you can eat a cheesesteak, drink beer, and go bowling! If you want to go bowling and have a fun night out with friends then I recommend coming here! read more

Finally, years after automating the scoring process, someone finally took bowling tech to the next level and put velcro on the shoes. I don't know why this impressed me so much but it just seems so much easier to press the shoes closed than to lace them up and knot them. They don't need to be tight; in fact a tiny bit loose works better. Anyway, this place has all your bowling type needs covered: 50 some lanes with baby bumpers available, arcade, snack bar, billiards, full bar, vending machines, fancy light balls for that special occasion, yada yada yada. When you've run out of interesting things to do and feel like working towards a visit to the chiropractor, head out to Laurel Lanes. read more
