Fantastic intimate venue with a wide variety of music! A longtime friend of ours brought us there last year and we were completely blown away by the band and their ability to sound exactly like so many different famous artists. This year, the same friend rented out the entire place including two sets by the house band for a milestone birthday celebration. I believe they have catering packages, but in this case, our friends supplied the food while the venue supplied the beverages and took care of cleaning up. The band really engages the audience with singalong parts, clapping, waving your hands in the air, etc. It was incredible fun; take a look at some of the pics: Note: the sound is superb but incredibly loud so don't forget to bring some hi-fidelity hearing protection. read more

The music is fantastic. The house band has always been great and I've enjoyed every show. However, the "concert seating" is extremely tight and uncomfortable. I'm 6 foot 1 inch and I can barely fit between the seats. read more

It was pretty cool for a local bar with a basic cheap college vibe. I don't say that as a negative. Sometimes you like that vibe. I guess. The building and premise isn't bad, but the bar is just a bar. The bartender was cute and nice. We stopped in, had a drink and left, but said we'd stop in again sometime. That was maybe a year ago. Small music venue. Different styles of music. Great musicians! BYOB and snacks. Theater seating is comfortable, table seating available.

I've seen a few shows here. The artists were always great. Its BYO, both food and drink which is cool. But a lot of what they do is the owner and his friends playing cover tunes, and tribute stuff. And he's an enormous pretentious ass. He played a Beatle on Broadway or something in the "Rain" production. And thinks he's way more important than he really is. Big fish in a small pond. read more

Have been to this venue several times, and always have enjoyed my experience. However; there has been some changes to the venue seating has changed the experience. Specifically, there has been a modification to the room that created additional seating for 20+. These tables have been shoehorned into the rear left corner of the room by the exit. In this area you have a limited view of the band, the sound is not great and the area does not have good airflow. It was the 1st time I was disappointed with the venue and will give me pause before booking additional shows. read more

I loved the band they were fantastic. Seating is not comfortable unless you sit in the theatre seats. Table seating has hard stools which are very uncomfortable, bring a whoopie cushion if you sit at the table. Poor snacks and drink options. You can BYOB and snacks. Place is too small for a music venue in my opinion, but we enjoyed the music and had a good time anyway. The price is a reflection of what you should expect, and I feel for the price it was a fair investment for a nite of entertainment. Place was a little cold in the back of the room. Not sure if I'll be back, very limited artists playing there probably because of the size. I'm thinking 50 people max. It was my first time there so I hope this helps remember this is my opinion and you should check it out yourself if your "local" Don't dr ive very far to go here you might be a little disappointed. read more

We had a great time at Motown Christmas! This was our first time to Victor Vault and we look forward to returning. The band was amazing--very tight when they had to be and yet open to a little jamming on songs like Superstition and Papa Was A Rolling Stone. The two singers were great too. The venue is small so there's not a bad seat in the house. We were right up front and worried about it being too loud but it wasn't a problem. There are multiple complaints in these reviews about how hard the stools are. Sure, there's no cushion, but it wasn't a big issue. We were amazed that you can bring whatever you want to eat or drink into the venue. But be prepared with you own cups, plastic ware and ice since that's not provided. This weekend I am going to see my 7th and 8th shows at The Vault! I love what they are doing here! History and live music are two of my favorite things and the management at the Vault get it right!! On Friday, March 25, 2016 I was able to join several friends in Berlin, NJ to see a show at The Vault: Decades Live! Presents: Jivin'- A celebration of the music of the 70's.The music was phenomenal. I do not see how they could have done a better job! The music was spot-on, true to form and fabulous. All of these guys arel extremely talented, and my friends and I really were taken back in time. I highly recommend this show for a date night or get together with family or friends. You won't be disappointed. I plan to return to see it again! A great evening! read more

Was there this past Saturday night (3/12/2016) to see Jeffrey Gaines. Very small venue (used to be a bank) with approximately 20 or so high tops, each seating around three people. The place is not suited at all for acoustical musicians as many groups in the back were talking loud as if they were in a bar. Others around us were annoyed as well at all the talking while the performer was trying to entertain. At one point in the show, the musician had to stop due to the noise. When the owner was approached, he said they (the talkers) were entitled to have a good time. Really? You bring in a musician like Jeffrey Gaines in to perform and expect people to treat the place like a bar scene? Perhaps a bit disrespectful to the musicians? The owner recommended other places for this type of venue (so why did he host acoustic musicians?). I'm certainly not going back and would not recommend you go either. read more
