SPECTACULAR! Literally...this winery was TOP NOTCH!! One of the best wineries I have ever been to…read more Luckily we were there as soon as they opened and it was so beautiful inside. The young ladies who helped us were so patient and explained everything including the wines and food menu. The charcuterie board was huge and everything on it was good, and three of us ordered the shrimp scampi flatbread. Lastly, the wines.....the wines were delicious! We walked out with purchasing at least 3 bottles each. These are the wines I can remember tasting, there were two more I cannot think of: 1. Blueberry 2. Blackberry 3. American Ranier I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area!

Service was great! Here is what we tried: *Ranier Rose - This was good, but we liked the other Ranier versions better. *Ranier Red - This was a very good sweet wine! *Ranier Red - This was also a very good sweet wine! *Red Sangria - This was a good wine, definitely has a raspberry taste to it, at least to us, so not my favorite of the day since I'm not a huge fan of raspberry. *Peach Moscato - This was a really good sweet wine with nice peach flavor. *Huckleberry Moscato - This was also a good sweet wine, but would have preferred a stronger huckleberry flavor, so we preferred the peach. *Almonique - I was most excited to try this one as I love Amaretto. This one was outstanding, definitely tastes like Amaretto without the harsh alcohol flavor. *Smores Cream Wine - It was good, definitely like a smores. *Mocha Java Cream Wine - Our server suggested us to try this one as it was his favorite. We both dislike coffee so we were not expecting to care for this one, but we liked it more than the Smores! Definitely very chocolatey! *Strawberry Mango Cider - This was strong in strawberry with the mango being an aftertaste, but still very good and sweet! *Peach Ginger Cider - This was definitely strong in ginger, almost too much, as I would prefer a stronger peach flavor, but it was still good. This was also sweet. My top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Ranier White My husband's top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Sangria. I would have loved to have tried some more as it sounds like they have a lot of good wines that are in line with what we liked! When we got home, we ordered some of the wines and ciders and they were shipped very quickly. I will be paying attention to their sales to order more in the future. I definitely recommend stopping by Tomasello Winery if you are in the area!

White Horse is located about an hour from Philadelphia. The property is beautiful, the staff laid back & friendly. We sampled two flights, three tastes in each. Some selections didn't send me (like Albarino and Merlot.). I loved the Cab Franc, but my family did not. (Good thing, since it's $42.50 a bottle.). In the mood for rose, we purchased a bottle of the reserve and enjoyed it with a charcuterie board. White Horse Winery is dog friendly, imperative since I have a little furry house guest this week. Saturday afternoon we were entertained by singer/guitarist Zac Run. (Zac makes his rounds at restaurants, local wineries and distilleries. He's quite good!) By mid-afternoon the winery was hopping with a birthday gathering and what looked like two bachelorette parties. There's plenty of seating on the porch, inside and on the grounds. I look forward to a return visit.

When I went to pick blueberries a couple weeks back I enjoyed the experience. I was surprised that…read moreI had to spend $30 minimum, but it was a fair price for the amount of blueberries that we picked. And it's on me for not knowing ahead of time that that was a requirement along with being cash only. Once I saw the area for kayaking and picnicking I wanted to bring my whole family back. So I called and left a message saying I was interested and wanted to know how to proceed. When I didn't hear back, I reached out on social media and got a response that it was the Fourth of July weekend, so I shouldn't expect a response until Monday. Fair enough, though the outgoing message on the day I called (July 5) said they were open and doing business all weekend for the 4th. The person on their social media (who I kind of feel is the same person who we saw the day we were there who I believe is the owner) said my message was on somebody's desk and I would get a call on Monday. I waited through Monday and into Tuesday before reaching out again via DM to say that I still had not heard back from my voicemail. They responded that they were very surprised that I hadn't gotten a message back because they were pretty sure everybody's messages got answered. After I reiterated that mine hadn't been answered, they didn't respond further. The irony at this point is that the amount of time going back-and-forth on DM to tell me that they don't answer questions on DM could've easily be used to answer questions. So I gave up on the kayaking and chose a different activity for my family. All this to say, my original very good feeling about such a beautiful place has now been replaced with a sour taste in my mouth because of very poor communication, which is a bummer.

We are two seniors that only wanted one or two pints and the experience. We would not have use for more than that. The lady was nice enough, and said sorry, 12 pint minimum. As were were walking away, a man comes out on the high deck of the house to ask us why we were leaving. We explained it was too many for us, he started screaming, this is NJ, nothing is free, (we never expected free) we were ok with that, and as we're walking away, he said no cheapskates here, which naturally enraged us. We are not cheap just not wasteful. The man continued with his badgering, my husband said I would have paid the $30.00 for the pint had someone given me the option.Apparently this man has done this before, because the lady put her head down and headed indoors. I have to admit, some choice words were sent back his way as he continued to insult us. Terrible experience. There are many Blueberry farms in the area. My advice is run from this one. Go to a place where they appreciate people and customers. He screamed that his are the best, and even if they were, his customer service stinks! I don't know why people like this don't worry about who they are insulting. In this time and age, you could come across an equally angry person. Then I realized, his bravado comes from sending the lady down while he's way up on a porch insulting customers. He has no idea what kind of money we have, nor is it any of his business, but one things for certain, it will never be spent there! I hope this, and I see the others now, will stop people from ruining their day at this farm, where the man acts crazy and is super rude! Go anywhere but here!

Course: there are no fairways. The grass (where there was grass) is 100% crab grass. The fairways are not cut and there is no difference between rough and fairway. Most of the course was actually just Sand. The golf carts? A joke. I had to switch 3 different times and finally settled on a cart which wheels were almost falling off (that was best option. Cigarettes, trash, dip, and graffiti were all over the carts. Almost no signage to get you hole to hole and the only markers are trash cans with painted tee box numbers. I should have suspected when the course said THERE ARE NO TEE TIMES. And is cash only more or less. What a joke. Customer Service: After playing 18 holes in the worst conditions ever with no complaint. Spending tons of money in the "clubhouse" because of minimum on credit purchases, we were accosted by the grounds keeper. We simply forgot a pitching wedge on the 18th green, when we went back to get it the greens keeper DROVE out onto the course in a truck to yell/curse at us demanding we wait for someone to turn my club in. We promptly got the club and left. Regardless of skill level I would not recommend this course to anyone. For a cheap option for new golfers, The FDR course in Philadelphia has similar rates and is a much better option.
