After some confusion as to where to go, we realized that the large door to go into the music venue inside the bar area, was closed. We were told that after sound check they'd open the doors to let ticket holders in. We decided since we were extra early, to order some food. We sat in one of the two booths in the bar area. I don't understand it, but it seems like the folks are just there to drink and have screaming loud conversations. That's fine and fun if you have not, again, paid for a ticket to HEAR A BAND. So, if you're not sitting within a few feet of the stage, it's hard to give the music a good listen. And if it's an acoustic set, you're probably out of luck altogether. We paid a bit extra for seats in the balcony and it was sweet the way they put nametags out to save our spots, but the noisy crowd directly behind us, non-stop, made it necessary to abandon those seats. The lower level wasn't much better until we moved very close to the stage. If there had been a big crowd, we would have been out of luck. Other friends have had similar experiences. The cocktails were expensive but yummy. The place was clean and cute. It's a shame the crowd was so rude and there's nothing anyone can, or will, do about it. This region has some great live music venues; this is not one of them.

The Music Box is located alongside the casino near the Borgata buffet. The location makes it very easy to enter comfortably right before showtime. The Music Box is not Borgata's main showroom, but instead a medium size venue with about 1000 seats. There are floor seats and elevated seating to suit most people's needs. You'll get a great view and sound from just about anywhere. If you're seeing a rock band, the first few floor seat rows to the side of stage may be too close to the speakers. They do have a bar within the theater with basic drinks. The venue is well-staffed with experienced help to ensure a smooth show.

During the show he showed me his Voodoo collection of all of his enemies and started putting pins in the dolls LOL. I asked if he could make a Voodoo Doll of my wife but he said that would be inhumane :( I recommend seeing the Bug Daddy (if you get it, you get it) in person if you ever get the chance! He will make your hips move and groove like they've never before
