Great music, introduction to new bands. Very friendly staff! Enough room to dance in a small venue.

Did not ruin our day because we had amazing people who stepped up to help out but please DO NOT hire her, or you will lose money and possibly more! ____ Every negative review here is true. Rhian bailed on us the morning of our wedding last June, like she has so many other people - it was confounding considering the fact that she came to our home the night before to pick up our items and bring them to the venue. When the morning came, and I was awaiting my "complimentary breakfast" from her, it was apparent she was not coming. My bridesmaids began to call her. They then called my husband, who called her and she was horrible to him on the morning of his wedding! She began lying and from there, the lies never stopped. It was stressful, heartbreaking, and it really makes you wonder what could make someone so hateful to try and ruin people's most sacred day. Scamming people on their special day is SO LOW. She lied at so many different times that I began keeping record. I kept every email, text message, and screenshot to prove to anyone, at any point, that Rhian is indeed, a literal scam artist. (Beware - she has several businesses under different names in Texas, Delaware & PA and at different points has been verified on The Knot and other major wedding websites. This is what makes her scam work! You see fake 5 star reviews and think, "Wow, this seems great!"). There is also a post on Reddit about her from another couple and you can see in the comments other links to times she has done this if you want further proof. I wish I could upload all the screenshots. I will keep these documents FOREVER and will show them to anybody wo asks for proof. We fought with her for months (when all we wanted to do was forget about her) to be recouped the $1,900 she owed us. We finally were able to get our money back via Venmo after repeatedly threatening to take Rhian to court. I am happy to see others taking this scam artist to court. It's taken me over a year to write this review due to the anxiety and sadness I had any time I thought about what she did. I am finally over it enough to review and let any other person in the industry or any other couple, know that this woman is a literal thief - of both money and JOY. Rhian, when you read this, I hope you shed as many tears as you have caused. Unlike so many other couples, we were very lucky during this unfortunate situation because of two things: 1. Rhian was an 'add-on' - our venue did all of the work and were AMAZING (shout out to Lindsay at The Lodge at Mountain Spring Lake). No part of our day did not happen because of Rhian's lack of professionalism, thank god. We hired Rhian to help with odd jobs like picking up breakfast, organizing a champagne toast at the bus pick up, and to set up the day AFTER the wedding because we were after a lake-day after party with food, games and drinks (everything that WE organized - all she had to do was pick up the orders and set up ...which shows how pathetic she is since this was a really EASY task). When Rhian didn't show up to our wedding, though we had to quickly scramble to adjust some things (again, thanks to our venue), it wasn't the end of the world (like it clear has been for some others - so sorry guys!). Our amazing friends did all the work to pick up the orders and what a blessing to see your friends love you so much that they pick up the slack because the loser you hired never showed! 2. We got our money back. Unlike so many of you, we got it back. But note: it took forever. Rhian was supposed to give us it back one month after our wedding. She wrote up some bogus contract that was basically a gag order. We couldn't review her before the money was returned or she would withhold the money (LOL after she never showed up to our wedding - her audacity is almost commendable). When the month was up, I uploaded the check she had issued and my bank (a credit union) flagged it as FRAUD! I then had issues with my bank for the following 2 months (thanks for that one, Rhian!). I began calling her, leaving her VMs, texting her. She never would answer but then would text she was "in a meeting" (Lol, which reminds me of the other lie she made at the final venue walkthrough a few weeks before the wedding when she also NEVER SHOWED UP). My husband and I were relentless. I was 1000000% taking her to small claims court. I am a pitbull that does not let go when I think things in this world are UNJUST. I am not sure if it was my sheer nastiness or what that made her finally agree, months after D-day (we literally did get married on 6/6), that she approved the dispute in Venmo and the money was returned. At one point during these arguments, Rhian said I was "entitled." Rhian, honey, I know it's hard for you to get this but when people PAY you, they are, in fact, entitled to the services you offer.

The whole construction of the studio level ups far beyond any other medium-large set up I seen and revivals if not, beats many NYC studios. It is hard for me to describe how amazing it is but let me quote their webage so I won't paraphrase anything. "The New Studio Crash is a beautiful recording studio built from the ground up to be world class in the field. With a nice large control room, a huge 840sq ft. live room with 14 ft slanted ceilings, an isolation room, a vocal booth, and two separate amp closets we have plenty of isolated spaces to get great sounds without the need to overdub everything. This makes it possible to record very large groups live and still have plenty of elbowroom and acoustic separation. Construction. Many studios may beautiful on the surface, like ours, but what's really important here is the stuff you don't see. So what is inside the walls and below the floor? Our construction entailed room-within-a-room construction. This means the walls you see are actually TWO (2) walls; each of which have two layers of " drywall and special acoustic insulation for sound absorption and a 6" air-space between them. These walls are floating on a layer of neoprene for even more sound isolation. The two pieces of glass in the 8 foot window separating the control and live rooms are each 1/2" thick, adding to the sound control. Under our new strand woven bamboo flooring, each room has its own individual "floating" concrete slab, decoupling it from the other rooms' floors. Even the HVAC was carefully planned, with every send and return having it's own insulated flex-duct all the way back to the HVAC unit. We even installed that HVAC unit in a separate building to keep it's mechanical noise far away from the studio space. The new studio's room acoustics are wonderful. Careful consideration in the design was spent on choosing room ratios as mathematically non-correlated as possible, in order to achieve evenly distributed axial, tangential, and oblique room modes. This means we get an amazingly smooth and accurate frequency response in the room ambience. This is something practically impossible to achieve without building from scratch like we did here." Mike is a PRO PRO PRO engineer. He has a new control surface going from a C24 to a D-Command as well as some focusrite preamps. He can also work on analog consoles as well as digital. The only downside is the breakroom can use some working on (unfinished floors) and parking is a bit troublesome, (I parked in the CVS lot across the way) but what can you do?!? I'd take that perfect mix over anything! See you soon again Mike!
