It is amazing place to see. They have such a wide variety of music and shows you need to check it out every one is so nice and place is gorgeous. Not a bad seat in the whole place.

What an awesome upgrade to the Theater! Very nice, clean and welcoming. I did not attend a "Theatrical", event, but was there for a meeting. The lovely staircase greets you as you walk in the front door. They do still the old Box office. There is street parking, and parking in the back as well. I have seen advertisements for upcoming shows, and they do have some really perfomances lined up.

The theatre is a work in progress, but it's expected to be completed in time for an early 2010 opening. I've seen the architect's plans and it's going to be a showplace. The Off Broad Street Players will be the resident theatre company and other entertainment is expected span the full spectrum of possibilities from movies, to music to comedy. Further review when they open for business. Send a couple of bucks their way at levoy.org They're a 501(c)(3), so your donation is tax deductible.

Absolutely loved the show very upbeat. Great voices and good acting. Didn't have any food. Ambience was nice. Service was OK.

Aside from that the dead band was amazing and views and sound were pretty darn good.

One of the bartenders near the bathrooms & main stage provided very sub par service, requiring me to repeat my order multiple times and caused a very frustrating experience for the rest of the night. The frustrating portion of this experience was how my credit card was charged over $400 several hours after we had left the bar. I had ordered two drinks totaling just under $20 (including a tip). I was then charged $7.50 and $396, in two different transactions, multiple hours after leaving the bar. Conveniently, this was after the bar had closed for the evening so there was no one to contact about this egregious mistake. It's one thing to mistakenly charge a credit card but it's another thing to feel targeted for a ridiculous amount several hours after we had left the bar and after the bar closed. I disputed the charges with my credit card but I will never be able to dispute having a good time at this establishment. I will never return.

Great venue, great music, and most of all great people. We saw our first show there last Saturday…read morenight: The Billy Walton Band opening for Low Cut Connie. We arrived early 'cause we're old, we didn't want to stand all night, and hoped to grab a table by the bar. We had to wait for 5-10 minutes outside before the doors opened at 7:00. It was cold out there! While we stood there, a bouncer came outside and stood with us. He could have remained indoors where it was warm. But in a gesture of silent solidarity, the dude joined us in the cold until the doors opened. He didn't make a big deal about it, just stood with us. You know, in our angry, cynical, stressed out world, it's awfully nice to witness a small display of humanity. Thanks, big guy. Once inside we snagged a table near the bar. I asked the bartender for a virgin strawberry margarita for my wife. But alas, the margaritas are premixed and they'd all lost their virginity. The bartender offered to make a substitute concoction for my wife. She asked me to report back and if my wife didn't like the drink, she'd comp us. Again, real decency. And good mixology, too. The drink was great. The show was fantastic, the acoustics outstanding, and the overall vibe at ARC is cool but unpretentious. It's a kick-ass independent music venue. That was our first show, and we'll be back for more. P.S. If ARC is reading this, could you maybe book more hip hop?

So we saw the districts here. Opening band was very good. The districts were very good. The staff…read morewas nice. But what was going on with the Sound tonight? Everything was loud (designed for a bigger, outdoor show, not this venue) and sounded way too tinny. Also who the hell was Starberry? The band that performed was not the band they said to look up on Spotify (the former was a group of high 20 somethings and not a 5 piece indie band with two ladies) . We're very confused
