Other toys they had were stuffed animals, and many different balls smooth as well as textured. There were two women working that day and both were very good with the kids and kept everything fun for them while sticking to their schedule. My son had a great time running around, going down the slides, and playing with the toy cars. After about a half hour of organized kiddo chaos the people who work there had a few activities for the kids. First they went down the slide into a million colorful sheer scarves, then they jumped off a structure into two stacked tubes with the same colorful scarves, after that they played with the ever-popular rainbow parachute with little plush puppies in the middle. Then back to regular play. After playing and eating, the last activity was a bubble dance party, the kids (and parents) went into a darkened room with black lights and danced with bubbles coming out every few minutes- the kids went nuts for the bubbles! There is also a smaller play area where the children can pretend they are in a tiny town with a grocery store, kitchen, etc. During the beginning of the party this small area was a refuge for the smaller babies. I would love to come here again, and would definitely consider it for my son's future birthdays, the only drawback (for me) is that it's an hour away. 5/5

Peekaboo sits inside a strip mall, located right next to the ACME. Inside is a small area for storing shoes / bags, an area with tables for snacking and then a large area that has a variety of "playground" equipment. This is everything from large foam blocks, to slides, to spinners, to tunnels. Overall the location was clean and the staff attentive. There are drop in rates and membership rates. It also appears there are a variety of events they run - all of those can be found on facebook. We'll be back!

My wife had heard they had a two hour session for young kids (my kids ages are 6 and 3) that lets them skate for an hour and a half and play on some of the games for 30 minutes. First, for the value ($6/kid with no charge for adults) its hard to argue for a better value. There were maybe 20 kids there throughout the event in total. The kids had a wonderful time learning to skate. They provide some "bars" that the kids hold onto while skating. Parents can also get skates (for free) to skate as well or are welcome to bring strollers onto the ring / walk along side their kids as they skate. The "hosts" do a good job of playing some kids games as well and even give out some little prizes that the kids love. Afterwards, supposedly, the kids usually play on the climbing nets. This day however this was not done as I suspect either they thought it was too many kids for the nets or, since they were doing some Easter theme, maybe that took its place. All-in-all though was a good time. Only drawback was some of the skates that you can borrow are pretty worn down and in need of some attention. I am taking off a star for this in hopes they will eventually update it (though I am sure its not cheap). Looks like a great place too when open to the general public. They might even have roller hockey/soccer/volleyball leagues from what I can tell. They host birthday parties but I heard that gets busy so unless you go for the "Ultimate Rental" package that gives only your party access, I can see it being very busy and congested for a normal party. The price per game was great however so many games were broken. The ones that weren't were not even giving our tickets. The selection of toys at ticket counter were very slim and random. Not a good selection at all. There wasn't even candy for the kids to choose. Would love to see some cleaning and improvement to the arcade area. Hopefully we can go back in the future with a better experience.

I also noticed that although there were a diverse mix of customers, the kids and parents all seemed very respectful. Trying various types of these indoor amusements in many locations throughout the country - you'll get to see a bit of rough plays, misunderstandings, and whatnot. Cherry Hill/Maple Shade seems like a very affable area/town/neighborhood, and parents/children were all courteous. (If you look up the viral video with the parenta fighting at a Kindergarten graduation in Toledo, OH, you'll know exactly...) This is a very organized, large space, filled with a lot of fun, no doubt. Most of the staffers were all part-time, on the young side, so it's not bad. The initial line to buy tickets was pretty long, but they ask everyone to do the waiver in advance via your phone. They also use color coded wristbands to determine the time limit. Once the 2 hours of play has passed, your color will no longer be accepted at the activities. Great concept and also an honor system that people/kids are to take it upon themselves to depart the premises if your color is called out. They also try to sell the membership, which works if you know you want to come often. I am not from the area so it wasn't an easy sell for us. Also, it is recommended to eat before heading here. It's been a few years since I left a review so time to update it, especially since the place has…read morechanged a lot in that time. Unfortunately not all for the better. My son and I have been here quite possibly over a hundred times since 2018, and we both love to jump together (I'm a kid at heart, it seems). In that time they have consistently carved away at the trampoline areas to install other things like slides, a ten-and-under playground, and an expanded arcade space. More variety, I guess, but I really prefer the trampolines. The pricing model has completely changed as well. Signing up for a single hour used to be a cheap option, but there is now a two hour minimum which costs $28 per person. But for only a dollar more you can sign up for a month membership (no annual memberships), $5 more will get you elite level membership, both with automatic renewal of course. Smart business or somewhat predatory? I don't know. The same bored teenagers are still running the place, and lately have been asked to crack down on the wearing of non-Skyzone trampoline socks. Don't want paying customers wearing competitors' socks? Ok, fair enough. A business is free to make its own rules. But when I'm told that it's a safety issue because only Skyzone socks work on Skyzone trampolines, like the creator of Skyzone is some sort of proprietary genius, that's just laughable. The snack bar serves about four things, all garbage and all overpriced (charging $20 for a 16" probably frozen pizza should be a crime). Despite some of the negatives, Skyzone is still a fun place, especially if you've never been here before. There is a ton to do that will easily fill up two hours and it's a great place for active kids with tons of energy to burn some off. Brightly lit, clean bathrooms, spacious (though it could use a lot more seating; I'm tired of sitting on the ground when it gets crowded). At the end of the day, though, my son is getting older and the negatives are keeping us from coming back too often these days.

There's also a discovery den AKA play area indoors for $1. There's animals/insects outdoors such as turkey vultures, turtles, a butterfly house and a bird observatory (cute on the inside with toys for the kiddos - be sure to read the story about the couple who opened the center). And a natural playscape outdoors. There's also a bunch of fairy houses throughout the property that girl scouts donated. And lots of trails through the forest. They also have Magic Mornings for ages 2-4 Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - but register ahead as they only have a certain amount of spots each day (it's seasonal - they have in fall and spring but not summer - see website). It's an hour class for $10 and includes a snack, craft, nature walk etc. They usually pull out an animal each class. It's great to get some time in nature with other kids. In summer, they have a full week of Magic Mornings in their Itty Bitty Briar Camp. Ms. Heidi teaches it and she is just great. They have a different theme every day such as sun, water, clouds etc and there's an activity each day (visit pond and catch tadpoles, water play, craft pertaining to theme). They have preschool pioneers for ages 4-5 and summer camp for older kids for a week in late June. *Just beware in June that parking is limited due to school field trips and you may not fit in either of the lots; you may have to park out front of the house to the left (which is fine - she just doesn't want buses idling there) They also have field trips to gardens and to the shore, classes for seniors, family nature nights, hot smores nights... Only negative (besides parking, which they can't really control), is the "snacks" for kids at Magic Mornings aren't the healthiest. One was cinnamon sugar graham crackers with whipped cream- regular would have been fine. 2 days were cheddar gold fish. Another day was blue jello with whipped cream. And some red licorice - the kind that whips. Fruit Loops were used for colors. So, if you don't like your child eating sugar, let them know you have a dietary restriction or bring your own snack (snack time is ~10 min and probably not needed but the kids always love snack time!). Some options that would be healthier and just as easy would be pretzel sticks, fruit, crackers, popcorn, veggies, string cheese...but I guess those all cost more besides pretzels/crackers/popcorn.
