There were some shops in the front and a couple of food trucks, for additional cost of course. There was also an ice skating rink, which also cost extra. Towards the back there is a little face-painting shack with another long line and... you guessed it... costs extra. At the center, there was a free small carousel with a long line. There were a couple of carnival type games in the back, which used to give out cheap prizes, but I guess they don't do that anymore. Outside of that, there is nothing to do, and the kids wanted to leave. We went into the tent and it was disorganized and overcrowded. Their balloon drop was a cluster of balloons balled up in a small area of the tent which everyone tried to cram up underneath, but only about 2 dozen kids could fit under it. There was no live band on the stage, even though they happily charged extra to rent out the igloos, where I guess you can sit and look at an empty stage. You have to walk through the mud to get to the igloos, or to use the bathrooms. So for $100 we listened to "baby shark" playing in the tent, watched about a hundred balloons drop at noon, and walked around. Everything is an additional charge, and I didn't see much value in the $20/person that we spent. I felt bad watching a larger group that was coming in as we were leaving, and felt like warning them. Disappointing after this property was overhyped years ago during construction, and just seems like it was never fully completed. Not sure who this venue is marketed to, but I didn't see many adults or kids having a good time. I don't see us coming back here again.

A lot of potential, but you can tell they are new…read more The place isn't organized enough, nor are the employees loud enough for all players to hear instructions. The HUGE center itself is great for Nerf play. There are lots of obstacles, a Jeep, ledges, window frames, etc. There are many rooms - the party my son went to tonight was in the main room. There are others that are maze like. My son didn't like that he had to wear a mask, but got it for safety reasons. The one (main) room only had "rival pellets" (ie - small fluffy balls) to use - and no darts. Boo! Private parties are upstairs. My friend's son's was great and spacious. She had one young girl helping with drinks, serving pizza, and helping with gifts & cake cutting. Impressive! I asked on the way out about "open play," etc. No answers or pamphlets - just referred me to the website. With the right marketing, this place could be incredible!

After attending one of his friends birthday parties prior, and my son's obsession with Nerf guns, I knew I wanted to do it here. I have always celebrated my kids birthdays on the weekends but I had a smaller budget for this party and was very happy to discover they had weeknight packages and I decided to do it on a weeknight (you get way more for your money). The weeknight party package included 1 hour of Nerf gun battle, 1 hour Gaming Room and 45 mins for eating, cake, etc in the birthday room for 50 people; any age. I thought that was a pretty good deal especially because I always like to include cousins and friends (I have a big family). Before booking the package online - has to be done online with $100 non-refundable deposit - I did email DOW with a few questions on accommodations and processes and They responded quickly. Booking online is very easy and simple. You can send a link to your guests so they can pre-sign the waivers online and it makes it easier to check-in the day of. DOW is on a super busy street and 42 is always backed up so make sure you give yourself extra time to arrive early. Food and decor is not provided in the package but I believe you can order pizza through them. I ordered pizzas from Little Caesars at $5 a box vs $13-15 a box... I brought my own decorations/cake/party bags and our host was phenomenal. Not only did she help with setting up the decorations, the food, cake cutting/serving, cleaning, etc. she was very friendly and very attentive. The guys hosting the nerf battle and game room were also pleasant to work with, they helped out everyone with their guns and safety goggles and made sure we all had a good time. I had kids from the ages of 2 playing to adults and everyone had a blast, especially my son the birthday boy. The nerf guns are medium to large sizes and they have very few small ones so if you don't think your child can hold onto the gun, you should get in there and play with them too. I promise you will have fun too ;) and Yes, you have to fill up the guns yourselves for the most part but big deal?! I am sure I'll be going back again soon! Thank you DOW!

This is only for the driving range, but since this place is 75% driving range, I imagine you'd get…read morea pretty good feel for it as a whole based on this review. (To be fair, they have mini golf, which was closed when I was there today, and ALLEGEDLY an indoor simulator, but when I called to inquire, they never picked up the phone and never called back.) Went there to hit a large bucket of balls today, along with every other single person in Deptford; or so it seemed. Large bucket is $13 and is about 100 balls, so the price isn't bad, even though everything else was. First, the mats are beat to shit. They are grooved, indented and just crappy. There are no tees. I even went to the shop to ask, and was told, "nah...we don't have any." So, you just have to hope to luck up and find an empty mat with a tee on it. I had to move from the upper deck to the lower, outside level to find a mat with a reasonable tee, as everything else was taken or without a tee. As bad as the mats are, the balls are 10x worse. I went to Ginos Driving Range in Mantua, and I thought THOSE balls were bad. The balls here are abysmal. Scuffed, cracked, bald; a mixture of range balls and found top flights, etc. Just terrible. (See the pics.) The range is a muddy mess with an old rusted out plane sitting on it. I guess to give duffers something to make noise at. No yard markers or anything constructive. AND, something I found weird/dangerous, is the the range kind of horseshoes, with people on the "sides" hitting off the actual grass, almost BACK INTO THE OTHER RANGE MATS. The grass crowd was basically perpendicular to the other hitters, AND to the LEFT, so a slice from them would send the balls straight at the people on the range. I didn't have that occur to me today, but a ball DID come passing behind us from the other direction. (No idea how....) There aren't many ranges in the area, and this one is maybe barely better than Ginos, balls not withstanding, but I'll still be in no rush to get back here.

***DRIVING RANGE REVIEW ONLY***…read more That said....the driving range was pretty trash. First, the place is cash only, which isn't a deal breaker, but in this day and age, is more than a little annoying. Secondly, everything is a little run down. You CAN borrow a driver, but you better like Goodwill level clubs. (I brought my own.) The little driver corrals/pens/whatever were almost ALL missing tees, and when I finally found one laying around, it was so low that teeing up was barely higher than just putting it on the mat. The balls were an absolute disgrace. (See picture.) I've never even HEARD of "Valken" brand balls, and they were positively beat to shit. Cuts, worn out dimples, dirty...the whole 9. They felt like they were made out of concrete. Your DRIVER is sending these things maybe 150. The only real positive is that they weren't that expensive. A small bucket was $7 and a large is $12. I was there just to blow off some steam, which was good, because it would've been a wasted range session trying to work on my swing with that setup and THOSE BALLS. The mini golf and batting cage looked BETTER, but both still looked old, and old-school, so I don't think I'll be back to try either of those any time soon. MAYBE a cheap date night or something, if we don't have to time to drive too far for something a little more polished or modern.

Baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, football fields, hiking trails, and a kids jungle gym. The playground is pretty big with dozens of slides and swings and tons of fun things for kids to climb on and run over! The whole park is kept in great shape in general. You can tell the community really cares about their space here! All in all a very nice park with tons of activities! They also do movie nights in the park in the summer! If tour kids need to unwind, come here!

This park pretty much has everything; playgrounds, open spaces, ball fields, basketball courts, a hiking trail (allegedly...we couldn't find it, but that was most likely our fault,) walking paths, etc, etc. Despite being so large, it's also rather connected, if that makes sense, and you're able to get to everything relatively quickly. The park is more "open" than "large." For example, you can get from one playground to another, without having to take a trek. There is a ton of space, but you're able to traverse the space to navigate the park. There's also plenty of parking. Also, they do drive in movies and stuff here, AND, it's dog friendly, so there aren't too many negatives. The only "downside" I could see is that it got pretty busy, and just being crowd-phobic by nature, it's less than ideal for me. We'll definitely be back early and often.
