We celebrated our son's 4th birthday at Xtreme Energy Paramus and purchased the Energy Party Package. We had an amazing experience, and most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast! We chose an Avengers theme, and I was really impressed with how everything came together. The themed setup was colorful, detailed, and looked great in photos. The Avengers cake was especially cute and much more elaborate than I expected, with different superhero details incorporated throughout. Our son was so excited when he saw everything. The entire planning process was incredibly easy. Communication leading up to the party was organized, with clear deadlines for confirming our headcount, theme, cake, catering, and other details. We made a few changes along the way, and as long as we communicated them within a reasonable amount of time before the party, the staff was very accommodating and made the adjustments without making the process stressful. One of the best parts for us as parents was how little we actually had to do. Xtreme Energy coordinated the decorations, cake, activities, food, and overall flow of the party, which allowed us to actually enjoy our son's birthday rather than spending the entire time setting up, serving food, organizing the kids, and cleaning up. A special shoutout to our party host, Pookie, who was AMAZING! She did such a great job keeping the party organized and moving smoothly. She guided the kids from activity to activity, had everyone wash their hands before eating, organized them for pictures, and managed all of the transitions throughout the party. Having someone handle those little details made such a difference and was one of the reasons the party felt so effortless for us. We also ordered catering for the adults. The catering is pricey, but the food was overall good quality and having everything provided onsite was very convenient. I also loved that coffee for the adults was included with our party package--a small detail, but one that was definitely appreciated by the parents! Something important to know when budgeting is that outside food is not permitted, so if you want additional food for the adults, you need to order catering through Xtreme Energy. You can bring your own additional cake or cupcakes, but they must be nut-free. A few other things that are helpful for parents to know before booking: grip socks are required for the kids, so I recommend bringing extras for anyone who forgets theirs. Otherwise, they are $3 per pair onsite. Parents are not permitted inside the actual play area, although parents are still responsible for supervising their own children. The zip line also has a height requirement, so depending on the ages and heights of your guests, not every child may be able to participate in every activity. The kids had SO much fun, and there was plenty to keep them entertained throughout the party. Seeing how excited our son and his friends were made the experience especially memorable for his 4th birthday. Another thoughtful touch was that they gave our son two passes to come back for future visits as a birthday gift, which we really appreciated. This is certainly a splurge for a children's birthday party, especially once you add additional guests and adult catering, but after experiencing it, I understand what you're paying for. Between the entertainment, customized themed setup, cake, food, organization, and excellent service, they take care of almost all of the party logistics for you. Would we spend this much on every birthday? Probably not, but I absolutely think it was worth doing to make his 4th birthday extra special. We left with a very happy birthday boy, happy guests, great pictures and memories, and very little work or stress on our part. Pookie and the rest of the Xtreme Energy team did a fantastic job. This place is like no other. Went with my grandchildren. They both were ecstatic every minute. EVERY minute for two hours! (3 and 5). Words cannot describe it. Scale 1-10? No number to describe how awesome this place is. You havvvvve to go with your kids. Activities really unheard of. My 3 1/2 y.o. ZIPLINED!!!! Went through a real ninja course (he's 3 1/2 !) - And The people that work there? Dedicated, committed, conscientious, friendly, caring, do above and beyond their job. We booked Xtreme Energy for my son's birthday and we loved it. There are two different party packages we went with the premium package as it allowed us to have a specific birthday theme. They offer catering which is a plus but that is an addition to the amount paid for booking the location which I think is expected and obviously. The only drinks included is water and coffee for adults and juices and water for the children. We were allowed to bring our own goody bags and individual bags of chips for the children. We had a great time! We had a party host and she was super helpful from beginning to end. I totally understand the strict guidelines for outside food but my only suggestion would be some flexibility to bring your own fruit tray, charcuterie board and/or additional snacks. The prices for those items seemed unreasonable for catering vs having the option to make it on your own. Overall strongly recommend this place! read more

Decided to bring my daughter here the day before her Kindergarten started. So glad this location opens 10am in the morning. We bought the tickets online. 1 adult is free with 1 child ticket. Upon arrival parking lot was clean and empty. There was no line at the check in counter. We did the waiver online beforehand, so we got to go to the play area within a minute. All the play area were tidy, clean and wiped. They have associates who are constantly wiping and mopping all the areas to maintain them. Lots of supervisors were placed in different sections to keep an eye on the kids' activities. I saw some of beautifully decorated party rooms. Love the huge spacious activity area they have with slides, obstacle courses, ball pools, trampoline, rock climbing. Drinks and small snacks are available at the counter. I am super impressed with this play place! I've actually passed it multiple times on Route 17 and didn't realize it was a kid's play place. When I was on the hunt looking for ways to keep my kiddos busy during the last week of August, Xtreme Energy popped up and I'm so glad it did. My daughter attended a birthday party at their smaller location. She had a blast there and she certainly had a blast at this new, larger location. There is SO much for kids to do. A huge ball pit. A giant climbing structure. Obstacle courses with foam pits. Slides galore. Trampolines. A huge rock climbing wall where they harness you in. A zip line where you are also harnessed in. And last, but certainly not least, a high ropes / low ropes course where you are obviously, ALSO harnessed in. It was certainly Xtreme Energy overload for my kids. They were running all over the place. They tried the rock climbing wall, the zip line (multiple times), and the low ropes course. Some parts were challenging for them and it was fun trying to help them successfully navigate the course. They also played in the jungle gym play structure for quite some time and bounced all over the trampolines. They were BEAT after about an hour and a half of all that running around and exercise. It was definitely worth the admission price. They offer you grip socks for a minimal fee, but if you have your own you can wear your own pair. All the employees were SO very nice and attentive to the kids there. They were very patient and helpful to whomever needed anything. It was a wonderful way to spend part of our afternoon. We had such a delightful experience! This place is truly wonderful for kids to expend all their energy in a fun way. My son and I got up the following morning, called to check if they had open play time slots available, and headed to Paramus. We arrived at around 11 am on a Saturday. This location is clean, with ample surface area. The layout of activities provides a Segway into the next activity. It was just what my Kinesthetic child needed: structured free play. The party rooms, decor options, and packages provide a beautiful venue that can be tailored to your liking. The location was well-staffed, with cheerful, attentive, and professional associates. Absolutely amazing! I have drove past this place many times and have always wondered about it. Decided to take my two and a half year old with special needs there today and was blown away. We go to MANY jungle gyms and this one is by far the best one we have experienced. From how clean it was, music, the set up and so much to do. Xtreme energy Paramus ! Came here for the grand opening of its second location yesterday march 23rd and what a blessing this place is! If you have been to the original location in englewood, this second place is a re-vamped, even bigger version of it. Perfectly open layout, wonderful music that adults and kids can both vibe to with an incredible sound system (which is important for a child's ears, especially), lots and lots of great, friendly staff. The owner Vic is so kind and it's encouraging to see him going around to each parts of the building and making sure that everything is running smoothly.
