Come here for an event and it was a fun experience. The food is nothing to write about but the truffle fries were delicious. The staff were very nice. Overall, cool concept just seems very expensive. The place is very clean and has a happy hour.

Love love the esthetics here, this place is high end bowling. Came for a networking event and the service was great. The drinks were a little weak but that might just be subjective. They had bowling balls that look like pool balls loved them, it was easy to start and allowed for many players. They had comfy sofas I felt like someone's living room. I'll see you there.

This restaurant offers a very nice breakfast buffet in the weekend. We made our reservation online the night before and got the time we wanted. There is a huge selection of food and it was all fresh. Some was better than others. The meats were all delicious. The pastas were only okay. Pastas absorb sauce as they sit, and so the Mac and cheese and other cheese sauce Pasta was dry and bland. But other than that, the shrimp, smoked salmon, eggs, sausage, bacon were all good. The breakfast sausage was fantastic. The dessert center was lovely. Liquor is pricey but we didn't want to drink so it worked for us. This was a good deal for the money foodwise.

Came here before a birthday dinner I had planned for my husband. ( we were early for our other reservation) We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. The bartender, Delmar, asked if we wanted food& we explained that we are going to dinner & I informed him that we were celebrating a birthday. Delmar wished my husband well & he even gave a complimentary dessert which was unexpected and super kind! The place is gorgeous & is furnished beautifully with neon signs and cozy furniture. This location has two levels. Upstairs - main dining area, the bar & outdoor patio. Downstairs - bowling, bocce ball a 2nd bar & a variety of private rooms to rent. This is directly connected to the Garden State Plaza but detached in the sense that you cannot enter the mall through this venue. *Forgot to mention. They have happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-6 which is unheard of! Definitely a place I will return to. Ask for Delmar if you visit!

I visited Pinstripes in Paramus for the first time with family over the weekend. We had such a fun time! Pinstripes is not your average bowling alley. It has such an elevated atmosphere with quality food and service. We booked bowling first, which came to $80 for an hour (roughly about two games). The bowling alley is clean and nicely decorated with a bar area and ample seating. There's also private rooms downstairs for parties. You can eat while you bowl and experience the menu. However, we decided to dine upstairs afterwards. If bowling isn't your thing, bocce is available to play, too! My family and I really enjoyed the Pinstripes menu. We were impressed with the food for sure! There's a decent selection. We started with two flatbreads - the Margherita and chicken avocado club. Perfect shareable bites with a large party, or this could even serve as a main meal. The calamari was also a big hit; very crispy. Some of our favorite entrees that were ordered included the chicken parm and chicken goat cheese pasta. So delicious! I got a classic chicken club sandwich and loved it, especially with my side of Parmesan fries. The tiramisu was excellent and a great way to finish our meal. Our waitress shared that during the summer, Pinstripes offers some happy hour deals. If you visit during happy hour, it's $5 per person to bowl. Such a great deal! We also arrived towards the end of brunch and there was an impressive spread laid out. This seems like a popular option as many people were enjoying the brunch. Pinstripes has a lot to offer. You can book a party, bowl or play bocce with friends, and even visit after work for happy hour deals. I will definitely visit again!

We reserved 530pm for 2 ppl. We were on time but they only brought us in at 550pm. They gave us the whole hour but I can only image the delay at the end of the day would be insane. Nice and pretty decor inside. Good for dates and friends hangout. They also host for big parties. Food is good. Not many lanes tho (9 I saw). If you are serious for bowling, this might not be for you. If you are just chilling w friends and family, I would say it's good.

We were super excited to visit newly opened Pinstripes at GSP. The first impression was sadly so bad I was ready to give it a 3-star, but the bowling experience and the food really avenged the night for us. Our reservation was for 5:30 pm Sunday. Upon arriving right on time, the receptionist notified us there's a delay. It took her 25 minutes to call us back to take us down to the bowling alley. The irony is that, the reservation email says if you are late more than 15 minutes, you loose your spot, but there's no consequence when Pinstripes themselves can't honor the reservation time. During our 25 minutes, no drinks or anything else was offered to us. Anyway, after we went down to the alley, I really liked the spot. It was modern, with 9 lanes, all working well. It's the best bowling alley lane I have been to in Bergen country. No string pins, no issues with the scoring, the controller provides multiple themes and style of play. We were able to play 4 games of 2 players within an hour. Coming to food, the quality was excellent. We tried calamari, lobster flatbread, all were very well made. The berry bliss, gin shot were excellent drinks too. The tap water was a bit ofd tasting though. But nonetheless this also the best food we had any bowling alley. It was legit restaurant quality. The server was on point, often checked with us, brought our food and drinks in timely manner. They also have huge space for hosting private parties. There are bars in both levels. They have 3 bocce lanes too. Overall the bowling and the food really overcame the early hiccups. I do feel the receptionists need more training. They were confused on how much to charge customers between $100 and $80 for one hour. They struggled for a minute to find and decide which bowling lanes to assign us. It all seemed a bit clumsy. But happy to see Pinstripes, a modern bowling and entertainment space opening so close to us. We will visit here many more times in coming future.

Super nice bartender, attentive service and unique touches all throughout. We tried the upstairs and downstairs bar for a happy hour treat

Friendly staff, solid service, and fun spot You walk into an open space, bright, center bar, and work your way downstairs for bocce or bowling. The lanes were really nice but maybe a smidge cramped if it were a full house. We opted for a lunch (2/$18) Poke bowl Lobster flat bread And an order of truffle fries. Poke bowl was plentiful and yummy. (4/5) Lobster flat bread (4/5) really tasty but light on the lobster Truffle fries (3/5) not much truffle but well made and seasoned Drinks were 1/2 off Mule and Paloma were quite watery and kind of meh so (1/5) for me. Likely would stick to beer on tap. Bowling (5/5) $35 midday for an hour includes shoes and socks. Clean and an overall fun time! Would swing by again with some friends beer and bites.

We went for the Sunday buffet brunch, and we enjoyed it. There was a wide variety of food - fresh sliced prime rib and maple glazed ham, mozzarella and tomatoes, smoked salmon, salads, Fruits, pizza, scrambled eggs, frittata, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, roast chicken, ravioli, Chicken goat cheese spiral pasta, chicken fingers, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, pizza, bagels and croissants, and a chocolate dessert fountain. So there is a huge variety for the price and the food ranges from very good to decent. It is a breakfast buffet, and there aren't many around anymore. Is it the best ever, no. But for the price, it's a great deal. Honestly if all you ate was prime rib you'd get your money's worth. They get you on the drinks. They are ridiculously overpriced. We didn't bother. I have read the other reviews here, and I will say I unfortunately have to agree the service is terrible. Considering they don't need to wait tables and only half of them are full, you rarely see the wait person. They took our dirty plates and utensils. But they never came back with clean utensils. I had to keep taking them off the neighboring unoccupied tables. We ordered refills on soda and she never brought it back. I got up and asked the bartender myself. That said, given it is a buffet and we served ourselves I would still recommend it.

Our experience at Pinstripes was... rough. If you really want to try this place, I highly recommend making a reservation. We had a 1pm reservation for brunch today (sunday). The place was pretty busy. The floor was super slippery. It felt like we were walking on a bowling lane, which made walking with our full plates very difficult. Once seated, our server poured water into our glasses and all over the table. She never tried to clean it up or apologize for getting water everywhere. I realized my glass was dirty - she grabbed it and slapped a new one on the table without a word. They no longer offer bottomless mimosas. My friend and I ordered a carafe of mimosas ($24) and our husband's each got a bloody mary ($12). Our drinks took forever to arrive, but they were decent. We were never asked if we wanted refills or any other beverages. The brunch buffet has a fair amount of options. I enjoyed the prime rib and the pasta salad was very good. The mini Belgian waffle was raw in the middle and the strawberries were bruised and rotten. We didn't see the bowling or bocce set up during this visit. It's all downstairs. But we should have taken the time to explore because our server let us sit there at an empty table, waiting an incredibly long time for her to acknowledge us and get our bill. I would not recommend coming here for brunch. I'm not sure I'd recommend anyone to come here ever. Service needs a major overhaul and they need to be more mindful of food preparation and presentation.

    Weekend buffet brunch
    Tina C.

I came here for the weekend brunch, and it did not disappoint! The interior is very classy and has a mix of booths, tables, high tops, and outdoor seating. The buffet was well organized, and there was tons of food like roasted chicken, waffles, carving stations (prime rib and ham), brussel sprouts (my favorite!), bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and a fondue dessert station. There's way more food that what I listed, but I'll let you guys check it out yourselves! Service was good, and the drinks were strong. They have bowling and bocce lanes downstairs, but I didn't make a res to try them out. I'd def coming back for the weekend brunch, regular menu or just a drink.

Outdoor seating available, but large windows, which were open last night. We were seated promptly at a window seat and Diana came by pretty quickly to take our order. You have to try their Focaccia bread. They do a little something special that makes it so crispy outside, but fluffy and buttery on the inside. My wife ordered the "The Clam Jam" (beer-braised littlenecks, Calabrian chili, house sausage and Espelette Butter). She love the dish, as did I the one clam she allowed. I ordered the Hamachi Crudo (Organic cherry ponzu, lime, jalapeño, shiro dashi, pistachio gremolata and red onion.) This is a very fancy ceviche, with cherries and all the fixins' which I would gladly order again... My wife's entrée was the Goffle Road farm half chicken (crispy fingerling potatoes, herb butter & roast chicken jus). Gotta say, they Lula's does a great job with this chicken. I stop by Goffle Road farm and the chicken is superior to pretty much anything else, but this came out with such a light crispy skin and so juicy and tender. Excellent! My entrée was the Elite Prime Grass-Fed Coulotte steak (Pomme puree, crispy sunchokes & black garlic jus.) The steak was done to perfection and the potatoes puree were so very creamy and good. No dessert tonight... just a couple cups of coffee and a little walk around Ridgewood. Busy place! Lula is a BYO!

The hospitality was incredible. We went there for my birthday. All the staff knew it was my birthday and they also knew that I was eight months pregnant and wanted to make sure that I was comfortable. The food was exceptional. The wait staff was so nice and provided recommendations while not pushing any one dish. We got the focaccia, softshell crab, Peking duck and chicken liver for appetizers. The softshell crab was the best I've ever had, and I would come back to this restaurant for this alone. The Peking duck was juicy and tender with the most incredible slaw type salad underneath it. The focaccia with the butter was also phenomenal, the owner actually brought it out to us and we had a nice conversation with him and you can tell he just poured his heart and soul into this restaurant. The focaccia is definitely not an appetizer to be overlooked just because it is bread. While I couldn't have any of the chicken liver mousse, it looked stunning, and my husband said that it was incredible and so light and fluffy, and it was a massive portion. I look forward to when we come back when I'm not pregnant and I can eat it. For dinner I got the Arctic char, and my husband got the pork. The Arctic char was unbelievable. It was piping hot and literally just melted in my mouth with each bite and the side that came with it was a mix of asparagus, mushrooms, farro and I don't know what else, but it was fantastic if I could have that side on its own as well, I would order more. My husband's pork was crispy and delicious with another incredible slaw topping, and it was so massive he has to take home like a third of it for dessert. We had the lemon meringue tart for dessert, which was also incredible and so refreshing for a dessert. All of the food was outrageously fresh and just outstanding. This restaurant is our new favorite place and on the way out we even made a reservation for three weeks from now to come back. This is probably the best restaurant that I've eaten at in Ridgewood hands down and I'm so glad that they are in the area. The restaurant adds a new vibe with food that is so phenomenal to match. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area as a MUST try. Of course me and my husband will be going back in a few weeks and we can't wait.

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. It was distracting, and I honestly wish they had just walked quickly instead of sprinting through the space. Fool me once and it's shame on you, fool me twice and the shame is mine for getting us into a war based on lies and greed?" Yeah something like that. Anyways, I typically don't believe when people say something is close so whenever I visit her we just order in delivery rather than motivate (ie put on a bra) and go out. But dang it this is literally. Right. Next. Door. As in I can sit on the deck outside of the restaurant and look in her living room. Smh. I say all that to say IVE BEEN MISSING OUT!! Her bday was this weekend so she booked a large table for family and friends. I was relieved to see they had valet. Parking is atrocious in this development so to only pay $10 to be 10 feet from the door was awesome. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff know her well and treated her as a valued guest. Here's the rundown: We went for BRUNCH. They have a prix fixe for $41 of most of the brunch items and it includes 2 Bellini, 2 mimosas, or 2 Bloody Marys. Good right? Welp what you don't know is that their cocktail menu is incredible so to heck with the prix fixe. We got mimosas at home!! Between the 10 of us we got cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, coffee. Highlights: -Service was spectacular. Wesley was On It! By the time we finished eating there was another party of 10+ seated right behind us that he was servicing. I hope he enjoys the reward$ of his hard work! Make it rain on em Wesley! -Fat friendly seating. No arms, solid chairs, comfortable cushions. We were there for 4 hours and my booty was never sore. -Food. We tore it up and it was all delicious. My half of the table had the farm house breakfast sando, the fried chicken sando, French omelette, huevo rancheros. We shared the crab hush puppies, wings, calamari, goat cheese salad, and blueberry pancakes. I was nosey and saw that some of my other table mates ordered the skirt steak and eggs and the short rib. -Drinks. I know my husband loves mango so I suggested he get the smoked mango drink. I didn't know it came with theatrics. Dinner and a show?! Btw by the time our table was done almost everyone had ordered one. Lychee martini, Paloma, old fashioned, midnight espresso. Also all very good! -The View. Our party was too large to sit outside but we did sit right at the floor to ceiling windows. In between birthday wishes and food comas we watched the boats, jet skis, and undulating waves of the Hudson. Previous posters are correct - the place is pricey. But high key the people who live in that area are already paying a premium for everything else sooooo. Now, I DONT live in that area lmao so this will be a rarer treat for me. But I was happy to celebrate my cousin's birthday in a place that she loves. Awesome experience - I look forward to returning! 10/10 would put on a bra for this and walk downstairs lol

TBH, I don't really remember the rest of the meal. i think dessert was something sugary, dunno... Service was... oh, who cares when your body is coursing with medium-rare iron and slightly charred protein hunks that the noble bovine has so generously given mankind. And I guess I was there for my anniversary or something. I remember whatever riverfront view the restaurant touts was completely obscured by shitty rain. Oh, but the STEAK... I guess my wife liked her meal. Pasta? Chicken? Chicken pasta? Whatevs, it wasn't steak, so no matter. We're still married.

Matt and Marris make you feel like part of their family the moment you walk in, and it is ABSOLUTELY genuine! Their passion is clear. The menu is thoughtfully curated, highlighting both creativity and quality ingredients. Every time I eat there, I find myself smiling; the concerns of the day or week float away. The care and detail in everything presented to the diner are so thoughtful. The drinks deserve just as much praise and are beautifully crafted. If you're lucky enough to visit on a night when Izzy is behind the bar, consider yourself fortunate. He's not only a "DJ" of cocktails, but warm, friendly, and fun to be around. Honestly, sitting at the bar is just as good as, if not better than, a seat in the dining room. We travel from Manhattan just to come here, and Hudson House never disappoints. It's the kind of place you find yourself returning to again and again, and recommending to everyone you know.

We all know how much Ketile One is pour the extra ounce. And when you bring the wine caraf, fill it to 5he top. As the apps came, I noticed there was no bread, so I asked for some. Someone in our party, told me there was a 4 charge for bread. I was getting a pasta dish, so I wanted it anyway. Needless to say bread never came, but it was on the bill. They removed the charge. I guess I'm just getting cheap in my old age. For 375 can't I get a decent pour and a piece of bread

Chopped salad - a variety of mixed greens and veggies well chopped. Nicely prepared. Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos - 3 tacos with large chunks of fresh Mahi Mahi. Garnished with red cabbage slaw and guac. Served with a side of rice. Top notch fish tacos that I highly recommend. The exterior is adorned with beautiful plants and flowers. The interior is bright and contemporary with a farmhouse vibe. Plus plenty of perfectly positioned screens to watch your favorite game. The service was on point for the most part. Our server was great but I think he was working too many tables bye himself so we kinda missed the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. We are definitely adding Black Rabbit to our regular rotation. Give it a try.

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!
