Unfortunately, I was greeted by an extremely rude host whose behavior was unprofessional to say the least. However, after speaking with the manager, Thomas, (who corrected the issues that presented themselves to our group early on in our visit) we were able to enjoy the experience that Pinstripes has to offer. Me and a friend had lunch here and it was fantastic. We both ordered the opened faced salmon sandwich and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the yogurt sauce and bread pair very well with it. The Cookies and Gelato dessert was wonderful as well. I went with a group of 11 people. Our reservation was for 3:30pm yesterday. When we arrived, I informed the hostess and she said they were setting up our table and she'd come get us. So we waited by the bar next to the host's stand. She never came to get us. After about 15-20 min I went and asked about our table and she was then like "yes it's ready". Which is already a bad start, she literally said she'd come get us instead we waited for that long without her saying a word to us. Then our waiter brought us waters and asked if we wanted appetizers, which we ordered. He said he would be back for our orders. He also did not come back for about 30 min. If the place was busy, I'd understand. But at that time, there were only two other tables seated at the restaurant and I didn't see them being served anyway. Our waiter rarely came by to check in on us. We ran out of water. And our dessert took over 30 min to get to us. I didn't realize it takes 30 minutes to scoop two orders of gelato. Again, there were barely any other people dining while we were there. Overall, we were there from 3:30pm to 6pm. Not by choice, but because of lack of service. Definitely a fun place with a good vibe! The food is actually VERY good here. They don't have many lanes as a standard bowling alley does but still enough. Not good! We went for Brunch on Sunday to the Pinstripes in Paramus N.J. The music from DJ was blasting loud! You couldn't have conversations. The food wasn't good. It was like they made it the day before and warmed it up. . There is 1 person making waffles 4 at a time. The line for getting waffles was 10 min. long. He also carved the ham and prime rib. Imagine the sake person doing this as people wait. if you want a piece of prime rib it is a very tiny tiny piece that you'll get. Don't think you're getting a bargain for your money because you really aren't. I would not go back and I would not recommend anybody going here. We had a reservation for 230 to 445 we were seated at 245 and even though I specifically asked if the buffet would still be available to us past 3 PM I was assured it would be yet there werent certain foods replenished during the time before 3 PM. They should be taking reservations no later than 2 PM If you're shutting down the buffet at 3 PM to assure guests get all the foods that were available. cut off the reservations at 2 PM so at least you have an hour to select all the buffet items fully stocked. I recently visited pin stripe with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite a relatively quiet evening, the service was painfully slow.Seated quite fast, and once seated, it felt like we were invisible to the staff. Had to grab our own plates for the appetizers and had one drink which took forever to come but never asked if want another one or refill had to get up to grab more water since they never came to check our table. Our server seemed overwhelmed and disinterested, taking forever to even bring us menus. Throughout the meal, there were long gaps between courses, leaving us waiting and wondering if our order had been forgotten. Brunch is a Buffett which I'm not a fan of cold/ mass production of mainly breakfast/ not too many choices of lunch items. That will run you for $35 then drinks are $15+ or 2 hours limitless mimosas (how fast can u drink) for $25 so it's already $70+ and you haven't pay to bowl which is one of the reasons you think this is a cool place. The service wasn't the best either! 2 hour limit on drinks and you wait 35min. For servers! Desserts are good! But will i go back? Don't think so, one time brunch for $85! He clearly saw us staring at him as well but refused to come back. His attitude was awful, not welcoming at all, seemed as if he didn't want to even serve us. Unfortunately the service was not nearly as good as expected, reservation was at 7:00 we got there at 6:58 when we went to check in someone was in front of us. That was no problem. They finally came up to us and said to come up and pay so we did, after this we expected to get taken to our lane but no they made us wait again "our lane was still not cleaned" at this point the manager approached and apologized for the inconvenience caused making us feel better about this and thinking we will get sat at our lane at this point. We were asked to wait 10 more minutes. At this point we've waited 30-35 minutes and we see a group of 8-10 people come in for a birthday party and they get sated immediately. Right after we got approached and taken downstairs but to our surprise the lane that was given to us WAS TAKEN AND ALL LANES WERE FULL. By now it is 7:55, and we were offered to play bocce ball while we wait 20 MORE minutes to wait for a lane to clear. At this point we waited an hour out of our 2 hour reservation. They made us prepay and asked for a tip. And that was just on the cost of bowling. Had to BEG to get shoes. Waited around at the lane for at least 15 mins for them. Then another 20 mins for a server to get our drinks. She came once. Never came back. Didn't show up again until the time ran out on the lane and she wanted to collect her tip.
