This was my first time at Pinstripes and I was overjoyed to finally go with my husband and family to enjoy bowling and overall good time. Unfortunately, I was greeted by an extremely rude host whose behavior was unprofessional to say the least. However, after speaking with the manager, Thomas, (who corrected the issues that presented themselves to our group early on in our visit) we were able to enjoy the experience that Pinstripes has to offer. A HUGE 'Thank You' to Thomas!!Pinstripes appears to be universal. In that it is a great place for a date night, brunch, or host an event. The environment is aesthetically pleasing. Me and a friend had lunch here and it was fantastic. We both ordered the opened faced salmon sandwich and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the yogurt sauce and bread pair very well with it. The Cookies and Gelato dessert was wonderful as well. Our server, Josh, was very friendly and helped us with recommendations on what to order. While the place looked upscale, the staff and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The bowling was a lot of fun too. Despite the Bowling being expensive, I do recommend this place for a fun afternoon outing and a perfect place entertainment place so those who want something different than just going to the movies. read more

Really good food (we did the salmon sandwiches and pesto focaccia) and they have two for one Tuesdays on everything on the menu. The wings was good, lobster and Mac was good, but the ribs was very spicey, salmon was very Salty and so was the pizza. Melanie was super nice and attentive. The ambience of the place is very nice a lot of TV's through out so you can watch a game and kick back. They have bowling downstairs which is great as well. I don't think I would come back. I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled to because I experienced such horrible service here. The food was pretty good, I'll give them that. But the service was terrible. I went with a group of 11 people. Our reservation was for 3:30pm yesterday. When we arrived, I informed the hostess and she said they were setting up our table and she'd come get us. So we waited by the bar next to the host's stand. She never came to get us. After about 15-20 min I went and asked about our table and she was then like "yes it's ready". Which is already a bad start, she literally said she'd come get us instead we waited for that long without her saying a word to us. Then our waiter brought us waters and asked if we wanted appetizers, which we ordered. He said he would be back for our orders. He also did not come back for about 30 min. If the place was busy, I'd understand. But at that time, there were only two other tables seated at the restaurant and I didn't see them being served anyway. Our waiter rarely came by to check in on us. We ran out of water. And our dessert took over 30 min to get to us. I didn't realize it takes 30 minutes to scoop two orders of gelato. Again, there were barely any other people dining while we were there. Overall, we were there from 3:30pm to 6pm. Not by choice, but because of lack of service. The brand new place is filled with an exciting vibe, friendly professional staff (ask for Tiana), a manager that checks in at every course and the well sized proportions were really good. Not good! We went for Brunch on Sunday to the Pinstripes in Paramus N.J. The music from DJ was blasting loud! You couldn't have conversations. The food wasn't good. It was like they made it the day before and warmed it up. . There is 1 person making waffles 4 at a time. The line for getting waffles was 10 min. long. He also carved the ham and prime rib. Imagine the sake person doing this as people wait. if you want a piece of prime rib it is a very tiny tiny piece that you'll get. Don't think you're getting a bargain for your money because you really aren't. I would not go back and I would not recommend anybody going here. Definitely a fun place with a good vibe! The food is actually VERY good here. They don't have many lanes as a standard bowling alley does but still enough. Went to the buffet today, I have mixed feelings overall about the offerings. We had a reservation for 230 to 445 we were seated at 245 and even though I specifically asked if the buffet would still be available to us past 3 PM I was assured it would be yet there werent certain foods replenished during the time before 3 PM. They should be taking reservations no later than 2 PM If you're shutting down the buffet at 3 PM to assure guests get all the foods that were available. cut off the reservations at 2 PM so at least you have an hour to select all the buffet items fully stocked. We visited Pinstripes Paramus at the Garden State Plaza for dinner for the first time. It was worth the trip. We were not disappointed. The food was better than anticipated. We tried the legendary lobster flatbread as an appetizer and enjoyed the super salad with steak, italian jambalaya, and char-grilled ribeye. The place has a fun, family-friendly NYC vibe, with music playing in the background -- not too loud, but enjoyably audible. After dinner, we headed downstairs and bowled for about an hour. Despite a relatively quiet evening, the service was painfully slow.Seated quite fast, and once seated, it felt like we were invisible to the staff. Had to grab our own plates for the appetizers and had one drink which took forever to come but never asked if want another one or refill had to get up to grab more water since they never came to check our table. Throughout the meal, there were long gaps between courses, leaving us waiting and wondering if our order had been forgotten. I came here for brunch with coworkers on a Saturday and the place was pretty busy. I sat at the bar as I waited for the rest of my party to arrive and was attended to right away. The brunch here is buffet style which for $35 pp seems a little pricey for basic food options and if you wanted to add bottomless mimosas it's an additional $25 pp. The food itself was just okay. The service was good no complaints there. Everything else was just "meh". I don't think I would come back. For the price you could definitely get more and better food for your money. read more

We decided to schedule brunch at the recently opened location in Paramus. This restaurant had a bowling alley and seems fun! Brunch is a Buffett which I'm not a fan of cold/ mass production of mainly breakfast/ not too many choices of lunch items. That will run you for $35 then drinks are $15+ or 2 hours limitless mimosas (how fast can u drink) for $25 so it's already $70+ and you haven't pay to bowl which is one of the reasons you think this is a cool place. The service wasn't the best either! 2 hour limit on drinks and you wait 35min. For servers! Desserts are good! But will i go back? Don't think so, one time brunch for $85! He clearly saw us staring at him as well but refused to come back. His attitude was awful, not welcoming at all, seemed as if he didn't want to even serve us. Unfortunately the service was not nearly as good as expected, reservation was at 7:00 we got there at 6:58 when we went to check in someone was in front of us. That was no problem. They finally came up to us and said to come up and pay so we did, after this we expected to get taken to our lane but no they made us wait again "our lane was still not cleaned" at this point the manager approached and apologized for the inconvenience caused making us feel better about this and thinking we will get sat at our lane at this point. We were asked to wait 10 more minutes. At this point we've waited 30-35 minutes and we see a group of 8-10 people come in for a birthday party and they get sated immediately. Right after we got approached and taken downstairs but to our surprise the lane that was given to us WAS TAKEN AND ALL LANES WERE FULL. By now it is 7:55, and we were offered to play bocce ball while we wait 20 MORE minutes to wait for a lane to clear. At this point we waited an hour out of our 2 hour reservation. Quite literally the biggest waste of money. Made a reservation for bowling. Was told online it would be $200 for 2 hours for 10 people. Got here and it's $80 an hour per lane so $160 per hour. They made us prepay and asked for a tip. And that was just on the cost of bowling. Had to BEG to get shoes. Waited around at the lane for at least 15 mins for them. Then another 20 mins for a server to get our drinks. She came once. Never came back. Didn't show up again until the time ran out on the lane and she wanted to collect her tip. Save your money - Holiday Bowl in Oakland is 1/2 the price and WAY BETTER. read more
