Billy's Midway is located in the same building as the Celtic Corner Restaurant and Hawthorne Theater. It's on the second floor with elevator access available. We parked on the street but there appears to be parking under the building. Entering they give you lanyard with your entry time marked on it. Billy's charges by the half hour until it maxes out at $30 for the day. The selection of arcade machines at Billy's is all retro with nothing after 2012 according to their website. This means they do not have any of the modern arcade cabinets you'd see at family fun centers or the newer pinball machines with video screens. What they do have, is numerous rows of well-maintained arcade cabinets. I have been to my share of Retro Arcades, and they had machines here I had never seen before including Rush'N Attack, Black Tiger, and Bagman. I saw no broken cabinets on the floor, which was very impressive. They also have the largest selection of cocktail table cabinets I have ever seen. General classics Billy's has included Marvel vs. Capcom, Mortal Combat II, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Revolution X, and The Simpsons. They also had a shuffle bowling machine and air hockey. In the back are two rows of pinball machines, with many of them being very retro. Machines that interested me included Terminator 2 and Dirty Harry, but Dirty Harry had a ball jam that rendered it inoperable. They also have a nice Strikes 'N Spares pinball machine that was almost always busy. Bathrooms are available near the main entrance, but you need to ask for the key. Overall, Billy's Midway is one of the best retro arcades I've ever visited and absolutely worth a stop.

Man this place is awesome! It's free play and you are charged only for the time you are in there. Easily could spend 2 hours here - we did! It's great since they have tons of classic games, pinball, Tetris, space invaders, and some newer things like air hockey and racing games. Such a fun place for anyone, we did it as a date night activity and went to a bar afterwards, which if you are looking to do, this is located on the upstairs above a sweet Irish pub!

I have always passed by Billy's and wanted to check it out. Had the chance this past weekend. Parking is on the street. I went there late afternoon and is located on the second floor. You get greeted at the register and there is no coin needed, you just pay for time. As of July 2021, it is 10 dollars for 30mins per person and $15 per hr per person. They give you a wrist band. There were so many classic games. Wish they had ninja turtles tho... some games brought back memories. The place is clean and it was not crowded. Did not have to wait for anyone to play any games. I had no issues with any games, everything worked. I suggest putting on a timer so you do not go over your desired time you intend to play. Def coming back here.

Very clean arcade with lots of vintage and retro machines as well as popular arcade machines from the 90's

Billy's Midway is a love letter to all kids who rushed to the arcade after school to lose a tiny fortune. This place has it all, from fantastic pinball machines, which have been restored and adequately cared for, to arcade games to even air hockey. The management team is fantastic, you can tell that Billy has a passion for what he's doing and it's contagious. The work that he has done to restore these older games is quite remarkable. I can't wait to go back!

OMG an 80s kid's dream. Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, etc. No quarters needed- they bill $7 for 30 minutes, $10 for 60 minutes, $25 for the day. Some of the pinball machines are so vintage i swear i could hear "Pinball Wizard" when i played. THEY HAVE ONE OF ONLY A HANDFUL OF FIX IT FELIX (from Disney's "Wreck it Ralph") MACHINES. You gotta check this out.

If you want to relive the glory days of the classic arcades you grew up with, this place is a no-brainer. I went here on a friend's recommendation, and intend to return many, many, times. The cabinets are in excellent condition. Everything was working and operational. The same could be said for the pinball. A very eclectic mix of games, so there should be something for everyone. You don't use quarters, so leave the spare change at home. Instead, you buy "time" at very reasonable rates. No waits, no lines, everyone was friendly. Great atmosphere. Highly-recommended!

    So fun!

This place was awesome. Great games, the staff was helpful and I got to teach my kids about real video games.

The place is kids friendly. They use ambient neon lighting that looks really cool. We were there to attend a birthday party. There were lots of parking spots available right next to the alley. Renting the bowling shoes was easy process. The lanes were in good condition. Plenty of balls of different sizes and weight were available. The scoring system was also functional. They had some bowling slides available to assist the kids with bowling. The pins were attached to strings, so it felt little bit unnatural the way pins were falling down. The food was decent. Pizza and wings were good. I liked the lemonade they server, though I think it was just Minute Maid, not handmade. Overall I really liked the alley. In future, I'd bring my daughter to this location if she ever want to bowl again.

I didn't like the pins are attached to strings. Nevertheless it's good quality lanes and bowls. A small arcade by the side door. It's a big hit for the kids too after many rounds of bowling. The host also got food catering from Bowlero. It's party finger food, not bad. They came around to set up, called for cake cutting, clean up etc. very efficient. Overall a great party experience with Bowlero. It's a good bowling spot for family and friends.
